I certainly think that vote in Georgia that defeated Perdue and Loeffler was part of a very strong counter-reaction to Trump.

The defeat of Trump suggests again why the GOP has been making such strong efforts to suppress the vote, but it reacted against them in Georgia, I believe.

I hope Cruz and Hawley fasten themselves to Trump and go down with their monomaniacal captain of the ship.

I think the tide has shifted. Identification of Trump for sone Republicans now can or will be a liability, not an asset.

Again, I’m not a strong fan of Biden or Harris.

What are more hopes for their presidency and vice presidency.

I’ll take: competency, calm, consideration.

They will give consideration to the concerns and needs and aspirations of the diverse range of Americans in the middle and lower classes.

They will give calm to our international relations with our best allies in the world (and not be Putin’s bitch).

They will give competency to addressing issues I care about: health care, education, overcoming racial injustice, and—especially—managing Covid crisis.

Forward progress depends in part on Democrats getting to 50 senators in Congress with Georgia elections, but I see that a long shot and McConnell continuing to make the Senate an obstruction to any progressive advance for the country.

We need something more regenerative in 2044.

70 seems to be a good retirement age....for myself. 74 is too old for demands of presidency in my opinion.

I feel some hope in the youngest two generations of Americans: 18-28, and 28-38.

2016-2020 was a bad counter-reaction or retardation in our politics in too many ways.

The damn electoral college messed us up in both 2016 and 2000. We are too “rigged” against majority rule by the founders.

We need 18 years terms for Supreme Court Justices.

The Filibuster stuff for needing 60 votes to pass major legislation makes us too undemocratic too.

I had the joy of Obama’s election in 2008.

I’d like to see a woman president before I fade away. I’d take Harris in 2044.

Trump will not run for office in 24. If he does, he will not get the ticket.

One thing that was started to be mentioned was Biden's age. Trump will be Biden's age today, in 2024. I do not think the country would elect another person that old, again. This is why I don't think Biden will run for 2 terms. Sure, he will look at the political environment and try and read the tea leaves to determine if it is safe to run again. However, he may just work on handing the party over to Harris. She will need to look more than just a lapdog to Biden in John Q. Public's eye for her to pull it off though.

Trump defied the norms, and not only got away with it; he thrived on doing so.

Cruz and Hawley will not be able to imitate Trump’s success in my opinion, however much they have his amibition to do so.

Trump was outside the norm. He was a business man. He had never run for office before.

More important, Trump was the star of “The Apprentice.” The Producer of that show did so much to create a fantasy “Trump,” a star role for him.

Just as Reagan learned the stories Hollywood told for successful movies, Trump learned or was taught the stories
for a successful TV show and an entertainment media show called the evening news.

Trump knew how to become an entertainer In chief. His real estate business taught as well how to play to people’s fantasies.

Cruz and Hawley are all just ambitious politicians. They will never be the showmen and con and salesman that Trump is.

I’m not dismayed by Cruz and Hawley. I see them embarrassing themselves and making a mess of the GOP party, splitting it further apart.

The crazy-calculating ambitious are going to crash with other side of the GOP on January 6th, and we will see what emerges from the wreckage.

Like the Terminator coming back, Trump might come back to for another try at the White House.

No one has proved to me yet that GW Bush found Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq after he led the invasion of the country. I do believe Bush-Cheney lied us into that war.

I do believe Trump has been a Con Man and grifter as President and he will go down in American history as one of the 2-3 worst presidents ever as well as the most mendacious in my lifetime.

We will need to have more patience to see how Trump is judged by history (but we can speculate about that).

I speculate too about anyone’s fervent attraction to Trump as president. If you are a huge fan of Trump, why is that? What specifically and factually are your favorite accomplishments of his presidency?

These are the only things that happen soon. There will be no big bombshell to overturn the election. Just more lies to keep the blind faithful from taking the bridge. The snow flakes will be melting away rapidly.

Truth is, nothing will happen. Biden will become president and Trump will become a story to tell children and warn them against becoming reality show actors.

Reversing the current course would require a miracle, and I am talking "Moses parting the sea" magnitude one. There are enough people who are sick and tired of trump and his antics, that a peaceful path to reversing the election results is non-existent.

There will always be folks who believe conspiracy theories and ignore clear facts just because the outcome is not to their favor. However, these folks just are noise in the background and in the long run will quiet down until the next cause...

We have heard the last about voting machines and fraud. It’s done. That is so 2020. Lawsuits have been threatened. Amazingly discussion of voting machine fraud and forensics has virtually stopped. It’s nonexistent. Well except for a Karen in Michigan who doesn’t have a pot to piss in. She doesn’t care if she’s sued. She has nothing to loose.
