[LOCKED]WTF

I don't have the article to C&P, but a fast food restaurant in an adjacent suburb to us was robbed a little over a week ago. The 2 guys were caught...

Here's the WTF part(s)- it seems one of them was an employee. As if no one was going to recognize him, or suspect, when he knew the codes to open the registers. His accomplice was an employee of another restaurant just across the parking lot. They waited until the second guy got off work, who then walked over to the fast food restaurant where they entered by crawling through the drive through window. Apparently all on video. They entered there because they knew the lock didn't work on that window.

They got about $500, but one was caught almost immediately about 4 blocks away, the other was found hiding in the attic of his mother's home in Mpls. several hours later.

When caught, the employee told the police the reason he robbed his own employer: he had his marijuana stolen and he had to come up with $900 to cover it.

Maybe he should have called the police and reported his marijuana was stolen and let the police recover it for him.

heehee, I'm tell you girl...you will get a whole new appreciation for your life when you watch those busted down people for an hour LOL.

Lost,

I love to watch that show to appreciate my extended family all the more!

"You think our TV is crap?"

Fun Fact: I have never watched even a second of Jersey Shore.

I did, however, watch Springer before flipping over to the SLS Channel.

An unnamed man was hospitalized in April in Tucson, Ariz., after firefighters found him unconscious at 3 a.m. pinned under an SUV parked in his driveway and dragged him to safety. A police spokesperson learned that the man was trying “a stunt in which he was going to put the SUV in reverse, jump out and lay on the ground behind it, have the vehicle [roll] over him, and then get up and [get back into] the SUV in time to stop it before it collided with anything.”

You think our TV is crap?

A Norwegian TV program on the topic of firewood consisted mostly of people in parkas chatting and chopping in the woods and then eight hours of a fire burning in a fireplace. Yet no sooner had it begun, on prime time on Friday night, than the angry responses came pouring in.

“We received about 60 text messages from people complaining about the stacking in the program,” said Lars Mytting, whose best-selling book “Solid Wood: All About Chopping, Drying and Stacking Wood — and the Soul of Wood-Burning” inspired the broadcast. “Fifty percent complained that the bark was facing up, and the rest complained that the bark was facing down.”

He explained, “One thing that really divides Norway is bark.”

Nearly a million people, or 20 percent of the population, tuned in at some point to the program, which was shown on the state broadcaster, NRK.

“My first thought was, ‘Well, why not make a TV series about firewood?’” Mr. Moeklebust said in an interview. “And that eventually cut down to a 12-hour show, with four hours of ordinary produced television, and then eight hours of showing a fireplace live.”

Sounds like just another case of nefarious magnets of mischief to me.

I left out where that was - Arizona.

I'll say that I do not think that redneck-like living has any necessary implications of being racist, although certainly many are. The lifestyles of many poor rural blacks around here is nearly indistinguishable from the white "rednecks", save for a few fine points like confederate flags.

One of the nicer afternoons I ever had was redneck-style a few years ago. We were visiting the Mrs. aunt and uncle in northern Florida, and we all rode in the back of a pickup barreling down a dirt road in our swim trunks, drinking beer and blasting cheesy music on our way to a river for tubing. It was fun as hell.

"Redneck Day" at Queen Creek High School has angered African-Americans and civil-rights leaders and touched off a debate about free speech, social stereotypes and good taste.

Tom Lindsey, superintendent of the Queen Creek Unified School District, said the only intent of Wednesday's event was to satirize the A&E reality TV show "Duck Dynasty," which follows a family of duck hunters and entrepreneurs from West Monroe, La.

But some students and their family members weren't amused. Among them: the Rev. Ozetta Kirby, pastor of Holy Trinity Community AME Church in Mesa and vice president of the East Valley chapter of the NAACP.

"I'm sitting here crying and praying," said Kirby, whose grandson Marcus Still is a 16-year-old junior at the school.

Uhm, is anyone here planning to participate in the Masturbate-a-thon in Philly later this month? Apparently, it raises funds for a couple of sex related charities.

You just can't make shit like this up!

I agree with you ladies! Booth is fine!

yeah: he kinda fine, isn't he?

I remember that one and I didn't really watch the show.

I think in that same one the man wouldn't speak unless his mistress ordered him to.

about the pet reference. There was an episode on BONES that included people acting like horses and having sex with them as horses and trainers.

Maybe there's something to that PFN thing after all.

Interesting how quickly he turned up, Fun.

I was willing to entertain his explanation as to why he thought Obamacare would be "deleted". I naively thought perhaps he had some logic or reasoning behind it, rather than clairvoyance.

The Psychic Friends Network has a poor reliability rating since Dionne Warwick went bankrupt.

Our current soothsayer is roughly as accurate in their predictions, and roughly as grounded in reality.

WTF: Last Fall after the Supreme Court had ruled, some lunatic calling himself the "Soothsayer" assured us that Obamacare would never survive the new year. His brilliance had been shared with an army of lawyers, and we could rest assured that the law was doomed. "Bank on it," he said. WTF happened?

I have always felt our healthcare system needed improvement, but this has taken it in the wrong direction! I have to agree: I think it's going to get worse before it gets better.
