Yes! Basically all Cabernets except a few (I’ve tried) are good, drinkable, shareable and friendly. It keeps my gang together, longer and makes for memorable. Some of the girls like a good Chablis so we have that available and A few bottles of other white wines cold for the girls who don’t like a Chablis.

igruv2- Actually, you might be on to something. The sex had to stop last time because the other couple was pretty tired (it was 1am-1:30am). Coffee, red bull....a shot of adrenaline....might have meant more sex!!
To be honest, a bottle of wine seems to be well appreciated. Next time we're going to do the bottle of Moet to celebrate but after that they might be able to come to our home.

Actually, convention says any wine you bring should be in whatever condition in which it would be served. That means chilled for white and sparkling wines. That gives your hosts the option of serving your gift or putting it aside for another time.

...as a follow-up. We're comparing schedules now to try and set something up mid-late January together again. We'll probably bring a bottle of Moet (to celebrate our first full swap). Ordinarily we'd bring it un-chilled but would chilled be more appropriate for that occasion? ...or stick to convention?
