We’ll tonight I will let the bartender surprise me, I’m traveling for work and the hotel they put me up at has an excellent bar with I don’t even know how many bourbons. The goal will be to try something new.

Knob Creek, especially the single barrel, is also a favorite. But I cannot have more than 1 shot of it without getting a headache. From my online reading, my experience is not unique.

I haven't found a bourbon that I enjoy just sipping. There are several scotches I enjoy sipping, but that's mostly because of the aromatics. However, 1792 and Buffalo Trace are very good with a splash of Amaretto. Four Rose's and Woodford Reserve are very nice neat.

EnjoyLife - Last night had the last splash out of a bottle of Larceny, then started a fresh bottle of Knob Creek 9 year. The Knob Creek is our favorite here, but we are always buying something different to taste it. We didn’t really care much for the Larceny, it is smooth but too sweet.

I almost always prefer bourbon neat, unless it's cheap stuff.

My favorite is E.H. Taylor, but sadly it is much more difficult to get these days. Likewise with Booker's.

Four Roses single barrel is excellent and relatively inexpensive, considering how good it is. Buffalo Trace is probably the best "cheap" bourbon. Bulleit is my go-to for making cocktails.

In our neck of the woods the purists say bourbon and branch is the only proper way, however I’ll take mine with a clear rock.

@jccpl2, Do tell? Basil Hayden? Bib and Tucker? Perhaps some Woodford Reserve? I have to admit, I like my Bourbon on the rocks.
Currently enjoying a Old Pepper Rye (single barrel).

Took someone's advice and mixed 50/50 smooth tequila/vodka. Very nice way to start a weekend....

I'm a big fan of creative mimosas and am always looking for new ideas.

Last night's was:

1/2 oz eacu of white tequila, agave syrup, lime juice, 1.5 oz pomegranate juice. Shaking and strained into a 6oz champagne flute and then 3 oz prosecco.

Super good.

Drinking water out of a 20 ounce Diet Coke bottle, it’s a magical time to be alive.

Do you have to ask.
TEQUILA
but it has to be good. I like is any way. But mostly in a glass.
Let me know how you mix it.

Well after a fine Irish dinner of corned beef, accompanied by a fine Irish Guinness, we followed it up with a fine Irish dessert.... a pair of Kissed Buttery Nipples.
Now to contemplated the nightcaps ;)

Grand Marnier.

After hearing about it for so many years in music and movies, I finally got some last night.
It's okay, I guess.

I'm still a Black Bacardi rum or Black Hennessy w/ Coke kinda guy.
