frosty cold diet pepsi
So, whatcha drinking
I like a glass of Merlot with food, particularly steak or pasta. Beer, Yeungling to be specific, I have a couple of those nearly every evening.
Not routinely, but sometimes on weekend evenings, a rum & coke really hits the spot. When we are on vacation, particularly at Caliente, the eggs Benedict with a vodka & OJ is a great way to start the day!
As for Blondie, it's wine in various flavors. Mostly reds, but sometimes whites. Maybe half of a cold beer on a hot summer day, but I don't think I've seen her drink an entire beer in our 30+ years together.
Raspberry white mocha vodka martini

Tequila with Fresca 'n lime!
That sounds really good. Haven’t had Fresca in years, but it’s on the shipping list for this weekend.
Fresca seems like it would be a good thing to go with gin, assuming you like gin.

Dirty Martini....
Tequila with Fresca 'n lime!
Milk
Coffee... In air conditioning
Hendricks Gin & sugar free tonic tonight. Tomorrow night we're checking out a new Tiki Bar in town though, so I'm going out on a limb and guess it will likely be a Rum & Red Stripe kind of night.
I wanted something to relax with, but have nothing that is a standard. So, threw together something and I like it... Just need to tone it down or add more of the soda to balance.
Fireball whiskey and soda
Coffee
@ tbrmskss, I hear you, bourbon or scotch neat is about it; hot summer days by the pool I’ll do gin and tonic, morning time bloody Mary’s and then there’s the rare frozen margarita…..
I am pretty much a purist when it comes to hard alcohol.
The only thing I will drink that has something added to taste different is Screwball, peanut butter whiskey.
Other than that, single malt Scotch or Irish whisky.
I only drink two mixed drinks, vodka mules or bloody marys.
I have heard of Calypso, but not had it. Here, there is a similar tasting spiced rum to Captain called Sailor Jerry's. Between Captain and Sailor Jerry's, the taste difference is very subtle. If you were not a spirits snob, you wouldn't know the difference.
Here in PA, the liquor stores are also run by the state. It was not until ten-ish years ago that the liquor stores were not open in Sundays. Now, they are. The liquor stores here only sell spirits, no beer.
Across the Delaware River in New Jersey, the liquor stores are independent businesses and not state run. They sell beer, too. The biggest in mom and pop named stores in the South Jersey area is called Roger Wilko.
Melvin - That is usually my go-to drink. In NH liquor stores (state run), they have a spiced rum called Calypso that I actually like better than Captain's. Last time I was at the liquor store it was on sale for $8 a HANDLE. It's less spicy than Captain's, which I prefer.
I know for some, it's like a religous thing regarding Coke vs Pepsi. I'll drink either, and when they're both stupid expensive, I'll buy store brand. I don't taste enough difference to warrant 3x the price. I'll also mix spiced rum with rootbeer, which is nice. Last time I was at the grocery store, the 2 litre bottles of rootbeer were less expensive than the 1 litre bottles.
Capitan Morgan and Pepsi
@TBR- I, among many, saw what you did there.
OnT: water, at the moment, but last night, shared a few glasses of Patron El Cielo, neat, with a new friend.
Also meant for sipping.
Tonight, maybe some gin &. Juice.

So, you're the one guilty of giving alcohol to minors...
:-P
By 12 year olds.
With dinner, I had fruit punch soda mixed with Amaretto, over ice. It is a smooth, sipping drink. This drink is not meant to be guzzled. It is meant to be sipped and enjoyed.
Coffee
Lemonade with PEG laxative and a teaspoon of psyllium powder. Every night before bed.
Fruit Punch flavored Gatorade.
Like nice single malt scotch
Dirty Vodka martini
