On Saturday night I had a drink so delicious that I am working furiously to replicate it.

The Tailored Misfit: Bulleit bourbon, Luxardo Maraschino, Carpano Punt e Mes and (the very best part) a bourbon soaked fig.

It is basically a gussied up manhattan but it was sublime. There are currently mission figs soaking up some bourbon in my fridge.

ice tea. Although with the mountain of laundry I'm facing folding I wish it was a long island ice tea

I meant the sweet water 420. Not the other 420...

I just finished a few cherry & lime vodkas with red bull. I might be up perving pictures for few hours.

I was at a post meeting drinks and appetizer session with my boss and some of our clients engineers and I got people turned on the New Holland's Dragon's Milk. Great beer.

You sure that it's the chocolate milk and the 2 squares of chocolate chip Cooke dough that's making you plump?

We are, We are leaning towards the solar panels because of the moving parts of the turbines. the reason we were told about the turbines was there are quite a few near where we are looking at property.

Our next home will be even more Eco friendly than this one. Since seeing some of the savings from fuel consumption alone.

I was sorry I couldn't do the Panels here but NYS wasn't offering any incentives at the time and the ROI was that where by the time we saw it , the units would have been in need of repair or replacement.

You don't have to listen to anyone that tries to feed you crap about getting a turbine, there are plenty of state and governmental websites [Bureau of Ocean Energy Management], including weather websites that give you information on this :). Do your homework, invest wisely.

M - I think it is thw tubine, where we are looking to move ( from those I have spoken too) say either would do well.

We plan on going with the batteries for use as well.
I would rather lean towards the solar panels, as well with the solar powered hotwater heater, as a secondary source.

with our current home I installed dual heat, Oil hot water with Radiators , and radiant. and the secondary is of all things electric, through radiators on the family room and garage, and a 25 Kw heat strip was installed in the central a/c for the warmer winter nights ( temps above 15degrees).

Do you mean a turbine? if so, if the house that you'll be buying is on the Eastern coast, I would advise you against it. Eastern USA doesn't really have good wind corridors.

When we build our next home we are planning of either installing a wind generator or solar panels .

If you install solar panels, make sure that it's for generating your own electricity, in other words, make sure that you also purchase the battery. That can get pricey but if you're going to stay there for a while, it might be worth it, a game of numbers.

A wind generator? or a wind turbine?
