@hotluvrs - LOL. Love it.
Simple Pleasures
Oh, we got lots of that there sophistication, got it coming outa our ears. We only serve our smooth style Jif on lightly toasted San Francisco sourdough bread, with a soupçon of South African chili tomatoe preserves, paired with the 2020 chenin blanc.
Actually, my wife won’t eat that stuff, she kinda trashy, but that’s why I love her.
@hotluvrs - admittedly crunchy pb is not for everyone. It does require a certain amount of sophistication. <tongue planted firmly in cheek>
crunchy pb = abomination
A black currant jam and crunchy pb sandwich.
Simple pleasures-
Old school jams and a wife who loves to dance
Simple pleasure...
Sitting at the bar and making a comment to your drunk bar friend about a drink being made looks like Smurf piss and she goes on a rant about Smurfette being gangbanged by the other Smurfs!
:-D
A simple pleasure today...
A woman twenty-ish years my senior was arriving at the supermarket as I was packing my groceries in my vehicle. I offered her my cart and said in a humorous manner that the cart was good and did not have a flopping wheel. She was heart-warmed and also ecstatic that she was getting a good shopping cart! She said thank you and wished me happy holidays. I said "you're welcome" and wished her happy holidays too.
I left the store with a smile and felt that a simple gesture made that woman's day.
Though I missed a bit of it while setting up the Christms tree, I really enjoy having the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade on in the background. From what I've seen so far, the caliber of performances seems extra good this year, even though they're doing them in the rain. As the saying goes, the show must go on.
remembering joans really nice tits
Simple pleasure:
Being able to sit outside on my deck and not do a damn thing but relax. Working one's ass off is good for the soul, but is takes a physical toll on you.
Cantaloupe jam stirred into vanilla Greek yogurt - what a decadent pleasure!
Batch is supposed to yield three half pints but I rarely end up with that much - so I prepped three half pint and two quarter pint jars. Had just a spoonful after filling two half pints and both quarter pints.
Couldn't let it go to waste. ;-)
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Watching my lovely wife playing like a kid with our new Brenadoodle puppy. She is so happy!
Watching the wife play with the chickens while smoking in the pool (naked).
My neighbor just cat-call whistled his wife and she flirted back by suggestively sticking her tongue out at him. That was cool to see and to also know that there still is passion in their lives, that they have not become complacent in their lives after the ten plus years they have lived next door.
Simple pleasure:
Hearing in the far distance in the neighboring town, someone enjoying their self or selves, in the moment of doing something stupid...
I hear in the far distance, a vehicle constantly squealing its tires and constantly revving its engine. Someone is doing doughnuts in a parking lot!
Lol!
Simple pleasure:
Sitting outside in decent weather just relaxing and smelling someone's wood fired grill. My god that smell is awesome!
Seeing a deer out in the front yard - hadn't seen any for over a year - guess the neighbor missed one!
laying out naked in the sun
Simple pleasure...
My neighbors have been my neighbors for years and know what medical hell I had recently went through. I am invited to their family party today, as they have treated me as part of their family. I am grateful and very happy for this notion, for hearing the word 'familia' many times over.
Simple pleasure...
Being the recipient of a phone call from a friend who is drunk. It was amusing.
Our cucumber crop drown this year. Last year we had a large production. We've experimented with adding Thai peppers and smokey maple bourbon to the normal bread-n-butter pickling spices. The initial taste tests were very promising.
Hope to hear that ping soon. Gettting more zuchinni they we can possible eat right now, so considering zuchinni pickles, both sweet and dill. The Mrs has already made 12 loafs of zuchinni bread in the past week or so.
Another simple pleasure is walking out to the garden and seeing/picking vegetables that you grew yourself. Yes, it's a bit of work, but it's the kind of work we enjoy. Gardening will definitely be one of our retirement hobbies.
It's amazing how that simple "ping" can make one's day.
Hearing lids "ping" after removing the first batch of the season from the canner!
Honey sweetened peach jam with a hint of vanilla - tastes fabulous and I somehow ended up with twice as much as I expected. WooHoo!
