Goooooood morning Vietnam!

The day starts at work, without being able to clock in... Hell, the day starts without being able to get in the building! We're all locked out and my boss has had to resort to calling a locksmith! Yay!

So, we're all here, but can't get in the building!

Hearing the house finch singing outside my office window. Birds make me happy.

A simple pleasure! The first grass cutting at my rather secluded shop. Then sitting in a comfortable lawn chair watching the sun set as a doe brings her fawns of the year to drink at the creek. I believe summer is nearly here.

I suspect that my wife had an as yet undisclosed sexual encounter this past weekend.

She spent the weekend in Atlanta. She went to visit family. Since she’s been back she’s been extra extra horny. She woken me up a couple times in the middle of the night, and we’ve squeezed in some quickies before work.

Currently, we have very busy opposing schedules so we haven’t had much quiet time together. I’m looking forward to having the conversation where I find out if my suspicions are correct. I love those pillow talk moments when I hear about adventures away from home.

Looking forward to a girl's weekend with my two best friends that I have known over 40 years. Lots of laughter and memories that refreshes my soul.

Taking my mini-me to the Zoo now that she is big enough to enjoy it on a beautiful sunny breezy day.

Spending a nice weekend alone with a long time friend who treats me like a queen. Lots of laughs, great food and drink, and of course great sex.

No matter how sucky today may be, it could always get worse. There is always a lot of beauty around us. Sometimes you have to look hard to find it. I still recall how my day was lifted by watching a Mockingbird catch a grasshopper and feed it to its young.

It is a simple pleasure to know that through life's trials and also being hit by a Mack truck, life itself is beautiful. I say this as I am grateful for coming out of Hell and having a new appreciation for life.

I just had a reminder call from my dentist, reminding me of my appointment today. No problem on the reminder call, as they do that all the time, but a week or so ahead of your appointment.

The woman I just spoke with was stating the date of the appointment, stopped in her tracks and I just stated, "yeah, today." The woman just started cracking up and said "see what happens when you hit 53 years old." She then jokingly said "I just called to wish you a happy Valentine's Day!" I said, "see you this afternoon!"

Knowing that your lover will be with you tomorrow and that emotion will be with you for another 365 days.

Simple pleasure... It is 5PM and it is daylight out! The days are getting longer and that means the weather is slowly warming up!

Even better when your heater is the gas fireplace controlled by a remote with a thermostat - no muss, no fuss and flickering flames!

The moment that you realize that you are cold in your house and one to five seconds later, your heater kicks on.

Regardless if someone uses scented laundry detergent and fabric softener or not, you have to admit, being outside and smelling the exhaust of someone's dryer is oddly, very satisfying.

Staying in our PJs all day and making a big bowl of popcorn.

Drinking spiked eggnog and nibbling on pizzelle!

No work today. Morning sex with a special friend and staying in bed cuddling afterwords.

Just getting back to sleeping at home in our own bed last night. We were away for 3 weeks.
