sounds like all is really going well in NOLA
HT1: A local SF joined us and one of the asshats a week ago for some sexy fun.
HT2: A SF friend from out of town is staying with us all weekend and we started the festivities off right with all three of us sharing our bed last night. And this morning.
HT3: Three more days of fun!
Yes, life is good sometimes.

Congrats SA! So glad it all worked out.
So BT, a HarV road trip?

I'm driving the assault vehicle & transporting a cadre of asshats...or maybe its a herd...or a gaggle...or a pride...or a murder...or something?
BT
Thanks everyone, we can finally turn the page to start our next life chapter.
BT, we haven’t picked a date yet, but stand by.
Congrats SA!
When's the barn raising??
BT
Congradulations SA wishing you the best with the new digs

Buyers closed on our house yesterday and we plan to close on the new house on the 15th. Cleared a good chunk of change on the sale and that will knock out the honeydo lists for the new house.
Wow, it’s actually happening!
This could also be a "Simple pleasure", but it's the first night in a VERY long time that I didn't have to get up even once to go pee.
A confession: it's not original wordplay. We heard it several decades ago. However, when an innocent sets up the pun...we'll always take advantage...
Oh, well freaking done, my friend! Well done!
Lent, loaned, borrowed, purloined, pilfered, 5-fingered, bogarted...absconded with...temporarily yours...or mine...

if Its Wednesday, someone's making an ash out of their self...
re: "It's Lent"..
To whom and for how long?
...it's Lent...

I never took you to be a quitter, especially when it comes to screwing. :)
I'm quitting while I'm ahead. I'll only screw it up if I keep posting ;-)

Once again, you have the ability to put a smile on a woman's face. ;)
Thanks NJ. I'm generally an a-hole... or masshole if you understand the regional term... but I adore my daughter and love the look on her face when the loot starts flying during Mardi Gras. She has an amazing way of making those around her smile, enjoy themselves, live in the moment, and forget their troubles. She's fearless and will talk to, and hug just about anyone.
Ok. So, there's another HT for ya...

HT: Lundi Gras was yesterday. Although I had to work until 5, I was able to jump in my car, drive a dozen or so blocks, and find a parking spot within 4 blocks of the parade route. If I hadn't had my 14 year old daughter with me yesterday, I probably would have just blown the whole thing off, kept working, and prepped for this morning's parades and the ensuing fun that occurs when you celebrate MG day in the Quarter.
Those who have experienced the Uptown Nola portion of a Mardi Gras parade route know though that its all about the kids. It never gets old watching her get showered with beads, plastic cups, glow sticks, colorful light sabres and stuffed animals, as I stand behind her, with my arms up and over her head, keeping her from getting pelted in the head.

Kicking off Mardi Gras with a full heart
HT: the few snowflakes we saw earlier this evening did not stick....it’s currently 33. Ready for spring.
I had a function to attend in Ft. Lauderdale today. I was driving home down the turnpike for the 100 mile stretch with only one exit. Top down, weather was gorgeous. The sky was clear and the sunset was prolonged and dazzling. Beautiful.
beau coup happiness to reflect upon this fine Sunday am...
-Came off a busy week loaded with work-related social events, meetings, and a gaggle of friends convening in NOLA for a few different conventions. Vino with the first boss I worked for coming out of college. Reminiscing about working in midtown Manhattan before Times Square became Disneyfied...Friendships going back 30+ years... Great stories, jokes, and catching up.
-We're in the throes of Carnival Season; a time of reverie, celebration, and excess. So, its hard not to be happy while this is all going on around us.
-Lastly, I have to add a shout-out to my local asshat friends for an unexpected introduction Fri eve and the fun that resulted.

...Grateful...
I left the house, cut wood for my stove, made 20 dollars,a friend bot me a couple of beers, played some pool.sometime life’s good with friends. I am right with the world.
Thanks to all for kind wishes. Yes, very much on the mend. Seemingly a minor problem, renal and hepatic (kidney and liver) function were unhappy. Rapid intervention reversed all of that. Still, a sobering wake-up call that even in seemingly good health, we are all vulnerable. A reminder to live, laugh, love while we can.
