Responding to Brazilian Girl comments; I lived in Brazil and was married to a Brazilian. These are all linguistic issues (I also was a linguistics major). The Portuguese word 'doido' is sometimes translated to stupid or crazy (fun-crazy). It's not always negative. She was probably doing a direct translation which sounds weird or wrong in English. That's your culture lesson of the day. ;-)

The owner also has regular free classes open to anyone about how an unarmed person can stop an active shooter, and how to respond in a big emergency if you find yourself surrounded by dead and wounded.

So I'm a member of a gym now. It's Endeavor Fitness in Hilliard if you live in the Central Ohio area. I love it! The owner is a Marine, and a krav maga instructor. Many of the employees are former military. They just don't give a damn about what kind of language they use, which is odd because anyone could sign up there. This is the email I got tonight. It's a business email sent to their customers. Here's part of it.

"Stay hydrated, always. Drink water throughout the day everyday and don't forget about electrolytes. You can use sources like Nuun tablets, Oral I.V., or Smart Water. Avoid Gatorade, Poweraid and other "sports drinks" they are just full of shit and sugar."

As classes get more populated, we have to make sure we can utilize the space efficiently and safely. Remember, all bags are to be left in the locker rooms. Only take the stuff you absolutely need for class with you into the training rooms. This will make sure we not only have as much space as possible for activites, but that things are also kept safe. Random bags can cause tripping issues and other safety concerns. .

Be cool... leave your gear in the locker room!

We reserve the right to throw your bag on the roof if you bring it into class against our very polite request not to :)"

So these Brazilian girls...

One thing all the ones I know have in common are the odd things they sometimes say. All of them routinely say "no no no" while ANYTHING sexual is going on, which is to them synonymous with "oooh oooh oooh". This takes some getting used to. When I first encountered it I was quite confused, as I would get the "no no no", although the tone definitely didn't sound "no", followed by me stopping... and her saying "why you stop?" Ugh, you were saying "no no no". "Oh, that's just what I do."

While I've gotten used to it I still wouldn't count on that applying to all Brazilian girls. But they sometimes blurt out other odd things. Being called "white boy" isn't uncommon.

Last night I was down on her and said "Mmmmm... you're so stupid."

I just drove my Brazilian babe home. Jeez she was kind enough to wear thigh high white boots for me (which stayed on the whole time) AND she thought I'd make her take an Uber home?

Chezde and they were gourmet. Strawberry shortcake (light yellow butter cake with fresh strawberries tucked inside, topped with white chocolate strawberry whipping cream), Banana Cream Pie (light butter cake with banana pudding in middle topped with banana cream cheese whipping cream), Triple Chocolate (melt in your mouth decadent chocolate cake, chocolate filling in middle topped with white butter whipping cream icing)....shall I go on?

Lady, you had me at 30 dz. cupcakes!

What a week! 30 dz cupcakes, graduation cake, 4 quiches, 2 French toast casseroles, 2 hash brown casseroles, 3 dz assorted cookies, 3 dz assorted muffins, sausage gravy and biscuits. One tired lady....glad I made it. Now for some fun.;^0

Watching my new robot vacuum work its pretty cool and picks up all the grit that gets on the floors here in Vegas.

It takes a special kind of person to hold up in retail under normal conditions, to say nothing of a holiday weekend or the holiday season.

I wouldn't last a week.
