Trump has just saved the premium cigar industry!! Added to the spending bill!

I prefer a maduro, 50- 52 ring. Romeo and Juliet, la F,or Dominican and the Monticristo are favorites.

Country man cigars for my kayak and fishing. one of the best of the cheap cigars so dont worry about the cigar having be spit out when a big fish hit. Or getting crushed as happens once in awhile with room being so tight in my kayak.

Nothing like anchoring my kayak with two poles out and smoking a cigar, until that 20lb carp bends my little pole double and starts screaming line off the reel. Once in a while i finish a cigar but not often.

Lake Mead is just loaded with big carp to about 30lbs. Really fun and fast fishing. 20lb carp are common with the average size ten to fifteen lbs.

Too bad Craigslist's Personals section disappeared. I can see the personal ad now...

OK, so I tried, but I just can't help it...

I'm no prude, and I definately don't criticize anyone's kink or fetish; but to me, that's a terrible waste of both a fine cigar as well as a fine humidore.

My favorite is a Monte Cristo Negra Reserva which is a madura cigar with a corona size.

My 2 favorites are Isla del Sol by Drew Estate and Tatiana vanilla. Nothing ( well-almost nothing??) like
one of these and a nice glass of wine. Or on a golf course.

Finally sat down and smoke my lastest Opus-X.

Worth the wait.

Another BLOCK from Lady_n_Tramp. I guess because I agree with NCAL about the cigar industry being fucked by OWEBAMA. Trump will free the industry from the asshole OWEBAMA, get over it Liberal. OWEBAMA SUCKS AND THAT IS AN INSULT TO SUCKING.

In all of the years I've messed around these forums, I've not once complained about a soul to admin, nor have I ever blocked a single poster...not once.

Tramp, it is true Trump has to sign an Executive Order freeing the Cigar industry from the BULL SHIT OF OWEBAMA. OWEBAMA put in rules and regulations that will put the Cigar industry out of business.

Cigars have gone political!!! Obama and the communist criminal Democrats wrote laws and regulations that are designed to destroy the mom and pop premium cigar companies.

Those laws and regulations take effect this year.

Why? Because the premium cigar industry is one of the last of the small mom and pop businesses left in America outside of restaurants. The premium cigar industry is highly profitable.

Warren Buffet wants to own the premium cigar industry because of the profits. Democrats are destroying the small businesses in the cigar industry the same way they destroyed the small business in the food industry all so Warren Buffet can own everything in America.

Trump is now trying to save America's mom and pop premium cigar industry. Can Trump save them by getting laws passed in the spending bill? Or will the communist Democrats and Obama destroy all those small cigar business?

Just got a 20 year anniversary Opus X from my oldest son for.my birthday. Almost hate the thought of seeing it go up in smoke.

But then...

Pipes are still very much in style, its just for pot not tobacco.

Some of the mirrsham (sp??) carved pipes were exquisite. But the cost and a need for a smoking glove put them way out of financial reach of a high school experimenter. Second hand pipe smoke can be delightful. But I already have an expensive vice. Booze; scotch.

American Cancer Society came out and claimed that pipe smoking causes cancer in the mouth and gums. This is what killed pipe smoking and in now shown to be a complete lie.

@Justpoking: In a sense of the word, you're not far off when you say that tobacco pipes are all but extinct.

The truth is, fine briar pipes have always been a very small part of the tobacco market, but in the 70s and 80s there was a pretry healthy demand here in the States, and awesome little pipe/tobacco shops were around.

Bur alas, the love affair eventually dwindled and the internet has changed the dynamics. There are far fewer folks available who are interested in pipes that cost $300 to $1000 each, and those sales are pretty much a matter for online shopping now. Just not enough demand to support brick and mortar stores.

Us enthusiasts will just have to press on though, right? ;^)

The war on smoking is what killed the pipe. People smoke cigars because its a easy treat and is gone to ashes when done. What is a shame is that now the raw data on the research of smoking that the American Cancer Society did that created all of the tobacco laws in the 1980s . is finally public..the America Cancer society lied through their teeth about tobacco and the effect of cigars and pipes and a few cigarettes per day has on ones health.

Many years ago, a close friend decided I versed a vice. He set me up with a starter pipe set. Didn't do anything for me. Now, pipes are almost extinct.
