However.....if someone is looking for a great non Cuban smoke, may I recommend my personal #1 favorite.....the AlecBradley Prensado Churchill. It is a med-full flavor smoke made with a Honduran wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan filler!
Cigars
Apolon21.....that would have been a Hoyo De Monterrey Excalibur #1 Maduro!!! It used to be one of my favs until that knowledge became known!!!
Ashtons also, Cubans are a little too much for me, I like a mild smoke.
What ever CLINTON used on Monica Luinski.
Ashtons, or when I can get them a good Cuban Cohiba. Lately my go-to smoke for a casual stroll on the beach has been the New World by AJ Fernandez.
I like trying all kinds, but my favorite are Macanudo and Montecristo.
I'll have to head up to BalHarbor. It's not far up from where I usually stay. Cheers!
May we suggest "Cuban Crafters".. where old time cubans make them before your eyes.. or Mikes on Bal Harbour more upscale and just check out his smoking room in old bank vault!
Went to both on Fridays with crew!
You are correct, obviously. I'm due for an upgrade. In Miami enough thEse days so might as well.
Not true.. Cigar smoker for years and a good humidifier properly maintained will always keep your stash in great shape.. and this from old time Cuban Cigar makers in Miami who showed me how to always store them properly.
My humidifier always has 40-75 cigars and always levels checked weekly.
Yeah you know my issue is that you don't want to buy too many to just store. These days I smoke couple times a month so it's the sample packs for me. I did find an awesome humidifier pouch which changed my life last year so no mishaps.
Saw it in Thompson, giving them a whirl
If Not try Thompsons they now moved to east area of USA from Tampa bought out by some big guys..or Mikes in south Florida
I get them all the time..
Are you still able to find them locally? Was a couple years where everyone had 'em.
Crickets now...
Give me a $4-10 Cuban reject and call it a day.
Most Cubans in the scrap pile are as good as regular "high-end" cigars.
For me, it's all about the company and location.
Pre-covid macanudos, NYC, surrounded by good drink, friends and the slow draw.
Taste wise, mild Rocky Patel's and an aged Hibiki, one rock ... I can still get a smoke on with friends but it's getting chilly...
Acid - Kuba Kuba
Great taste and flavor and burn!
My go-to favs are Cuban Partagas series D #4 and Montecristo #2. I have a pretty good stash of Cohibe Behikes but they are so expensive it’s hard to smoke them so they keep aging and getting better. Love a good cigar, glass of rum and a nice warm sunset.

An amazing thing for me this past weekend. OK, it’s a pipe story rather than cigars, but here it is anyway.
I began collecting and smoking fine pipes in 1978 when I was 20. I worked with a guy who smoked pipes, and that’s what got me started.
At any rate, I remember the day I went down to a local Tinder Box branch here in Atlanta. I looked around a bit and finally picked out three pipes to get started with (along with some assorted tobaccos).
I fell in love with the collecting side of the hobby and built a pretty good bunch of pipes over the next few years...until my first divorce forced me to sell all of them to help pay the lawyers.
Oh well, right?
Two divorces and three pipe collections have come and gone since them, literally hundreds of fine collector quality pipes, mind you!
I’m now on my fourth collection and I find most of my pipes on various web sources including EBay. The brick and mortar pipe stores are practically extinct now.
This last weekend....
I was messing around on EBay, and guess what ole Tramp comes across?
Yep... one of the very first three pipes I bought that day in 1978 at the Tinderbox!
Happy Tramp
I just recently rediscovered cigars. I don't live far from and excellent cigar shop with hundreds of choices. So far I am a fan of an inexpensive Brick House, something called Laflor Dominincana Air Bender which was sweet and aromatic. I have a Romeo Y Julieta Reserve Real, a Makers Mark seasoned Dominican Republic and a LaAuroa Corojo to try. I also discovered the C-Notes from Acid Cigars to be a mellow smoke. All go very well with a fine Bourbon or Whiskey of your choice. My discovery came upon a visit to The Red Phone Booth in Atlanta which also had a excellent humidor full of choices.
i saw a show on cigar making in Cuba. Before smoking they dip the end of the cigar into a drink. From coffee to rum. Its hard to keep premium cigars here in the dry heat of Vegas so i just smoke a good cheap cigar that is wrapped tight to keep the cigar from drying out.
I dipped one in whiskey then in honey. Excellent if you like a nice sweet smooth flavor. Then just to see i took some honey and put it on top of the entire cigar before i lit up. What a nice flavor, honey and tobacco really go well together as they burn.
I am now buying premium honey and cheap cigars.
If I'm having a glass of nice whiskey.... A monti white label or a Romeo julieta vintage....
I keep baccarats around for mowing the lawn.
I always enjoy a good cigar being the oral person I am, I would love to be oral with hotwifecuckoldhubby’s nipples more than a good cigar though!
HotWifec,
Have you tried the Camacho Triple Maduro? They come in that size range (which is my preferred size also).
My everyday smoke is (WAS) the La Gloria Series R's. Also, I like Hoyo de Monterey 1066, the Excalibers.
I also fondly remember my undergraduate days smoking a meerschaum pipe, gifted to me by my grandfather. I lost the pipe over the years, and after too many moves. I did like pipe smoking. But now, I fear, societal changes has made smoking them problematic.
