Hotel party questions

A genuine complete takeover is an awesome experience. You will get out of it as much as you put into it. It may be a bit overwhelming at time but it you all should have an amazing time. The swinger cards are a pretty neat idea esp for the party. Dressing for the theme and decorating for it can make things a lot more fun. Just come up with how much time and resources you want to invest ahead of time. You will find almost any interest you can think of at a takeover and a wide variety of people. Definitely contact people on the guest list ahead of time which can give you someone to look for if you aren't already going with someone you know.

Ron and Kathy are a good source for information ... I've seen them post here for a long time. Unlike some, I think they have really been thru it all and try to be helpful.

My advice would be to agree with each other that you are just going to go and see what people do ... no pressure for either of you.

That can be really important ... as you can see from my SLS ID, it's not always the guy wanting to play, pushing some woman where she isn't comfortable. You really should just go to a party, no pressure, and see what goes on. If you are both comfortable going in, you can always do more at some other party later.

I've never been to a true hotel party but planning to attend one the first weekend of June (total hotel takeover). I will be celebrating my 40th birthday too! How do people usually decorate their doors and rooms? I read something on a blog about passing out a business card type of thing? Does that really happen? Any help would be appreciated. I want this to be a really fun experience where I can meet lots of people (play or not). Thanks!
