3sum how often?

The is a great thread "Lessons I've leaned in the lifestyle". It has a great post about the difference between a calculated risk and a reckless gamble being whether or not you can afford to pay up when you lose. This is followed by a post about how in every swinging couple, one is the accelerator and other the brake. The job of the accelerator is to make sure you take some calculated risks, while the job of the brake is to make sure you don't take any reckless gambles.

Having even one 3-way a month is likely altering your view of your sex life. Can you pay the price? Is it worth the likely payout?

How much additional risk vs potential reward, from more frequent? Can you pay the price?

We have been doing about once a month. It isn't "clockwork". We took a couple months off when busy around the holidays, but then have done 2 or 3 times in a month if we're feeling it. We played around just before going on vacation, then played around later that same week at a club we visited on that vacation (Caligula on Long Island, NYC... beautiful club with nice mix of public and private play areas). Planned the same on recent San Fran visit but Power Exchange was a shit-hole, so he didn't play.

So, while it isn't a rule, once a month is a basic rule of thumb for us.

We have a regular that lives out of state but comes often on business, when he does he stays with us for a few days, MMF fun at least 6-10 visits a year.
Wife also has her FF fun with a discreet married friend ... just them though ... i get to sneak and watch without her friend knowing

Our ideal is 2 to 3 a month. Sometimes things work out to be a couple times a week or could hit a dry spell of several weeks or months. What works out best for us is to find that one special guy that would be a long time friend that could play whenever she or he wants it. We had a guy like that but moved away. We are searching now

My wife and I enjoy mfm threesomes on a somewhat regular basis. When we have a "friend" we like to get together twice a month. Had our first in April - second was Saturday. I guess that makes it once a month ( only been in the Lifestyle for 3 months).

Same here. We don’t even talk to couples anymore. Single guys r so much easier. Yes a few no shows but for most part good experiences

@grey I agree we have basically given up on couples.. We have been very lucky with singles though

We appr 5-7 mfm 3 suns a month . Sometimes more sometimes less . A lot of fun they are . Don’t have to worry about getting attached or how often if it’s fresh meat most times lol

thank Allen- we've had our FWB up to our cabin in Yosemite for a weekend so we pretty much know what to expect on that front. Adding the excitement of Vegas should just enhance what is already a really good idea if you can pull it off

As I read some of these posts I count our blessings at the opportunities in our area. The Mrs basically has her own little toy box of boy toys that we both get along with and have no issues with maturity, disrespect, or them being stuck on themselves. Who knew S. NH could be such a hub of LS goodness. Saying this only 1/2 tongue in cheek ;-)

Hosting a repetitive SM for a weekend is a fantastic time, especially seeing the random animalistic sex take place and the pheromones from it.......

Since finding our current FWB we've averaged about once every other week. He is coming to Vegas with us for Nancy's birthday in March and I'm guessing that is going to skew the average a little bit

We go in spurts. But finding singles is so much easy than couples. I would say once or twice a month would be good. But life gets in the way sometimes. So when we feel like playing we do!

re: Flip the roles, if it were a MFM threesome, would you feel concerned if your wife insisted on numerous threesomes a month?

If my Mrs were looking for multiple MFMs a month my response would, "Hell, Yeah!!!"...lol More often than not, if the Mrs is doing an MFM these days it's with 2 guys other than me while I'm playing with a girl nearby and the two of us are exchanging occasional sexy glances at each other while playing.

Honestly, given the choice between an MFM or FMF with the Mrs, I'd pick the MFM. It just winds up being more fun for both of us. I've always been a little weird, but it all comes down to you like what you like. Sometimes giving truly is better than receiving.

Twice per month. Our last vacation it was almost daily :)

Every 3 to 5 weeks but she is really starting to enjoy it more and more so hopefully get that down to twice a month

My wife meets her man about 3-4 times per month. I don't always get to watch.

The answer is...What makes her happy. Seriously we all joke that the women control all of this and they almost always do. If she is willing to do one a month that's really great. We hardly do one a year, shes just that picky. It is a real turn on for me but if she says more frequently might interfere with her feelings I honor that because its HER feelings like it or not. It is a real turn on for us and for me once a month would overload me lol. But what she does for me is so exceptional I 'almost' never complain.
