Hey there, pineapple people, and welcome to the Swing Nation podcast. podcast we are your hosts northern guy and southern girl today's episode we're bringing you another another tuesday talks we are talking tuesday i'm cutting you off tuesday talking with dan and lacy no welcome to tuesday talks with dan and lacy don't quit your day job just can you like make us a little intro like why why we i let's spare the ask life of space maybe let's spare the people you're singing oh geez okay let's get right into it or dan's gonna keep singing it says um okay there's no name on this one so it says i'm scared to be in the lifestyle. I think the lifestyle is portrayed on social media as trashy, and I don't want people to see me as a slut. Maybe that's what it is, and I need to be honest with myself. I don't know. I think you guys show off the lifestyle in a classy yet sassy way, and I appreciate that. There are influencers that brag about body counts and things like that, though, which bad light on the lifestyle what are your thoughts all right so there's did she give a name no okay anonymous emailer um there's two parts of her so she a little bit in the beginning there she talks about um not wanting to be out in the lifestyle and then she goes on to talk about she just says i'm says I'm scared to be out. And then she goes on to talk about. How the lifestyle is portrayed. On social media. We've done a Tuesday talks. On being outed. Or going public. In the lifestyle. We've also done I think a few podcast episodes on that. So we're going to push that part. To the side a little bit. But definitely if you want to have a conversation about um going public in the lifestyle go back and listen to those two that tuesday talk episode and some of the other episodes we've done on that um i like this question or i chose this question because i think it is worth talking about the way people on social media portray swinging in the lifestyle i think that including us it's an exaggerated form of the lifestyle sure i mean obviously okay before we were on social media and we were going to some of our parties was i dressing in the themes yeah was i wearing like a cute dress that matched the themes yeah was i going all out and above and beyond the way that i am now because i know that the that video could possibly have millions of views i don't remember what i was just asking myself you're saying do you you know like i definitely are you going further with your outfits because of social media yeah 100 it is 100 now would i still dress cute and feel confident and sexy yeah but i feel like for me i definitely i don't know if i believe that i don't know if i believe that but i think yes i think you go more extravagant with your outfits and i think well one we can afford that more now than maybe we could you know four or five years ago um but what i will say is all your friends are going extravagant without a lot of your friends are going extravagant with their outfits and they're not on tiktok and they're not on instagram but i do i think you've got a lot more comfortable in the way you dress i think you've got a lot more comfortable in being extravagant i think you have a little bit more of a budget to do that now and so you're doing it so i don't think i agree off of tiktok and instagram and all that stuff i think you would still to kind of keep up with their kardashians and you know like to keep up with all your friends you'd still be doing i think you'd still be wearing the clothes and the hair and the makeup and you know going kind of all out that i that would be my prediction i think you're correct but i still think it's an exaggerated form i still do i'm even if it's just five percent i do um i also feel like a lot of lifestyle people are promoting their only fans through social media and no i have no hate we're doing it we do it um i have no issues with that and i think that is something different than the lifestyle i think they are in the lifestyle and that is definitely a part of their life but they're also wanting to influence you to click a link so by saying i sleep with five guys or 10 guys or whatever people want to see that shit hell i want to see it so you want to click the link to go see it so i think that's different i don't know this is a hard one for me yeah so i guess part of you know her question in there she says that the lifestyle is being portrayed trashy or you know on social media and if i'm guessing what she's talking about i think she is talking i would say likely she's talking about only fans creators that that are generating clickbait and And they're generating clickbait to do what Lacey said is to drive traffic to their OnlyFans page. We do that same thing right and honestly if you're a creator on social media I don't care if you're selling tractors or apples or you know like any person who's an influencer on social media is generating some type of clickbait to get you to go to their links and they're, you know, they're all affiliate marketer. You know, if you're a social media influencer, you are making money through clicks, likes, comments and all that stuff. Right. So in some way, shape or form, everybody on social media is generating clickbait content because that's that's's what works right that's what sells that's what get views and these you know if they're a full-time influencer they're literally their livelihood depends on that right now i think in the swear space and specifically with only fans creators they are hyper sexualizing some of the things there may be you know oh i slept with my cousin or my sister or oh that's you know that's my sister that's my brother um you know generating some of that content which i could see that being viewed as trashy because honestly it kind of is a little trashy right but they're doing that on purpose right and i'm not you know there's a lot of people there's a lot of hate for those type of creators out there and i'm not personally because we are kind of advocates of the lifestyle and i do think that that kind of content makes the lifestyle seem a little trashier than it actually is in real life so i'm not a huge fan of that content but i don't blame the person making the content because they're making money like this is their job like they're they're not these people aren't you know lifestyle educators or lifestyle advocates these are porn stars right the people and they're probably and they're all real swingers like yeah we know a lot of people that are making these kind of content and i love a lot of them are really really good really really nice people but they're porn stars the way they make their money is porn and let's let's be honest there's been porn of all like this for decades right since before social media then there's been a you know the bullshit the fake i'm fucking my mom or fucking my cousin or you know this is my uncle like that stuff's been out there forever right it's just being put on social media now under this swinger guys as clickbait for only fans and i'm not mad at the content creators at all i really think us as society should just recognize it for what it is right if you see that and you're like oh my gosh swingers are all fucking each other's cousins like you're just gullible and dumb you know i mean like you just don't get it correct but let's be honest most people are gullible and dumb especially like when you're scrolling tiktoks and i think that swingers historically have gotten a bad rap and so then you have people that are doing stuff like that or whatever and not even that it can be and that's why i don't like it is it feeds into some of the negative stigmas me and lacy although we would probably make thousands of dollars if we made that kind of content we've refused to do it just because we do put ourselves on a little bit higher of a pedestal because we have the podcast because we we generally identify as lifestyle educators and lifestyle advocates so we don't want to further the stigma about the lifestyle and i have no problem with the content creators out there that are doing it because these are porn stars we even debate back and forth occasionally on there are times so i usually make the tiktoks and then dan posts the tiktoks a little behind the scenes knowledge and so sometimes in my head i have a wholesome idea for it i have a very good a wholesome idea and then i click on it and dan's like and it's completely opposite and i'll be honest i get a little frustrated but he has no idea what's in my head and i haven't communicated that to him and i'm like can't like one in every five be like a little bit more wholesome or like a little bit more i try to balance you do you do try to balance it but when you're like when those tiktoks are direct correlation to what comes into our bank account I can see how, for you, it makes sense to push that envelope some. So... into our bank account i can see how for you it makes sense to push that envelope some so even us who genuine people that genuinely try to not do it still catch ourselves it's a rabbit hole i i completely understand if you make content like that then all of a sudden you have 10 grand in your bank account that's um that's a hard motivator we know a girl that made a million dollars like on shit like that you know like in one year so that's very hard you know we which of course you ask like a super vanilla normal person and they look at our take talks they're like oh my god but then you compare our take talks to some like some other people. Like, we're pretty, like, vanilla compared to some of them. So, I mean, honestly, like, if she wants, like, my true thoughts on this, I think that swingers will probably always have that stigma as far as being, you know, I just think that that's just historically what people people think they think they're trashy i do think there are some influencers and i can think of a couple off top of my head that do a very good job of not doing that and kind of creating their own way and showing a different light and if um and so i would say that if you want to be out in the lifestyle you just have to you have to kind of set your boundaries and your morals i guess and stick to that but it's very easy to be called over to the dollar signs yeah no and that's what it is you know that content's being over sexualized it's being you know it's a little naughty it's a little dirty it's a little you know they're they're taking advantage of the clickbait aspect of it and i i have the you know most of the people that i know that are doing it their full-time living is being porn stars and only parents and stuff like that and so i have no disregard for them or no no ill will towards them for doing that go out there get your bag make your money um do thing. We just don't put ourselves in those situations. And I'm going to give an example real quick. We did a mansion party years ago. And I did a TikTok where I think we have like 20 couples in that mansion. Like maybe 10 couples. So 20. I don't know. 20 people. Yeah. Anyway, so we did a TikTok where all the the guys were behind me and i was like on my knees on the floor floor but not like on my knees like sucking dick like on my knees like sitting there and i was like it was like this or what it wasn't like this is what you know where this is about to go and that night we went to trapeze alina and i happened to open the tiktok on the way to trapeze and of course the tiktok had went viral because there was like 20 guys behind me or i mean i swear it was more than 10 but and i'm basically saying i'm about to fuck all these guys which is not true i did not fuck all those guys at least not that same night i probably have probably fucked fucked collectively i probably have but not that night but you know it but you would have not but like i've never had a train no no i've been a swinger a long time now i've done all kinds of shit i've never had a train four guys probably the most you've ever run on you at one time but the comments of that were wild and i mean just and that's not what for me that's not what my lifestyle is about that's not that's not what we do and i think for me that tiktok stood out and i kind of realized i never wanted to be in that position again because i didn't like the way it made me feel i didn't like the image that i was putting out there Listen girl if you want to have 20 guys fuck you at one night go for it i will like i will pass out the condoms for you i will get water for you like i totally support that but me as an individual that's not something i'm into right so if we remake that tiktok you're okay with like four or five guys behind you yeah i'm okay with a couple i think i've actually done that tiktok since then and i'm okay with a couple i don't want 20 guys behind me um that's just an example i it's lessons learned you know we've kind of but the reason people do stuff like that is because it gets you go viral right how many people probably clicked on our only fans and that's a direct link to your bank account yeah direct so yeah it is what it is so uh yeah i will say you know you know for her who's struggling with this i guess go out there find the influencers you connect with recognize the ones that are just doing it for the clickbait and the porn and again no no disrespect to those people go do it right and you know um but that that's why you're seeing it and i don't really know i think in the influencer world it doesn't matter what the thing is right if it's cooking if it's snowboarding if it's i think influencers over exaggerate everything they do right like yeah like you, if you're a stay-at-home mom that cooks dinner for your kids, you know, your husband and kids, you do that one way if you're a normal person. If you're an influencer on TikTok and it's your job is to- And you know everybody's going to look at it. And everybody's going to see it and everybody's going to look at it. You are going to cook a four-course meal. It's going to be elaborate. It's going to be some Martha Stewart shit. It's not real. Like, this is social media. We all are over-exaggerating our niche to get views, to get clicks, to get likes, to get follows. It's just part of the beast of social media. And swingers are not the only ones. And honestly, if it wasn't OnlyFans, it would be like, click on our link and purchase Shameless Care. Right. Or go to WIS and get your... That's what I'm saying what i'm saying every full-time influencer yeah right they might not be trying to go get you to go click on their only fans but they want you to you know buy a you know subscribe to their website so you can get their cooking recipes or you know whatever the thing is all these influencers are doing it and so they're over exaggerating over embellishing you know think like mr beast like that dude's renting like million dollar yachts and like sinking them and like just doing all kinds of just crazy stuff um to get clicks and to get attention and people love him for it you know i mean so swingers are kind of doing the same thing it's just a little more sexualized because we're a little more sexual people um but it is what it is yeah so anyway i hope you realize that that's what's going on and i don't think swingers are they are not trashy people if you get to know people in the lifestyle in real life you'll realize we're all just normal well normal we're your neighbors we're normal people swingers are like super fancy like some of those like parties out like yeah the west coast and stuff we've heard about like it's very fancy they would think we were you have some redneck like you know pig roast in your backyard like in the trailer swingers and you have swingers that are in mansions in the beverly hill like you get and i love every single one of them yeah i would party at any of those parties we've been you know from parties from you know the twenty dollar party to get into to the two thousand five thousand dollar parties to get into so yeah um it's a there's a whole community of people out there um and they truly are you know some of the best people and it's okay to be a slut a lot of them are sluts yeah and it's completely okay you know us and our brand, we got slut t-shirts and hats and we're embracing that. So it's okay to be slutty. And, you know, if you want to celebrate that, if you want to make TikToks about that, we support you. Yeah. All right. I hope that answers your question. And I hope it didn't piss off any of our friends because we love y'all. No, I don't think it did. They know what they're doing.
