hey there pineapple people and welcome to the swing nation podcast we are your hosts northern guy and southern girl in today's episode we're gonna continue our secrets hideaway one year anniversary podcast bash story yeah so friday and saturday deserve their own podcast i think well we just there was no way to get through it all in one episode, too. We would have been rushed. So you guys had to wait a week to hear the rest of it. Yeah. But you're still here. You're back. Or maybe you didn't even hear the first episode, and you're just joining us. That's okay.

Right, because it's about to get good. to get good yeah so maybe you just maybe you skip the prequel and now you're you're here for the main event yep um right so i don't know anything we want to talk about so let's just talk about so how are you recovering from dallas all right how are you feeling i don't know you don't know i'm so tired from dallas did you have a good time i see me riding the bull? You did such a good job on the bull.
I did a good job in the pineapple suit with my cowboy hat. It was epic. He's completely full of shit. We're recording this like five minutes after last week's. We haven't been to Dallas yet. Just spoiler alert. Right? Yes. Yeah. But it's going to be. It's going to be great. Okay. All right. Sorry. So let's talk about how we got to Secret. Like, let's talk about what led us to taking over Secret.
grades because that's kind of like a story and it's gonna be great all right sorry so let's talk about how we got to secret like let's talk about what led us to taking over secrets because that's kind of like a story in itself do you understand what i'm saying like january we decided hey let's go to secrets like on a whim sort of right yeah so this is you know fast forward you know eight months ago the swing talk thing you There there was a bunch of us uh people that were posting with the swing talk hashtag on tiktok it was all really starting to blow up we were starting to become friends we had done a couple events we had gone to chemistry in in nashville we had gone to um the red room which at the time was called the theater group and they had they had just opened up so we kind of did this kind of grand opening bash kind of thing there we had swinger society the discord but we did not have a website it was still like right a baby idea maybe there was a thousand people a couple thousand people in that room yeah um it was all just starting just brand new we had no idea what we were in for right we reached out to secrets and said hey secrets uh we'd like to come down uh and bring all our friends and just kind of party with you yeah uh would that be okay and they were of course they were like bring all your friends like yeah let's do this well it took us a little bit to get their attention but what we finally did they were like okay yeah come on yeah it ended up being like a like a huge success for january i mean we had decent weather but you know it got cool in the evenings which was fine because you were in the hot tub but i mean really and truly we sold the place out we brought in a ton of business i mean it was a great time like we literally left there and then like two days later they were like when you coming back right we got an opportunity to meet frederick and barbie we got an opportunity to meet james and james you know junior and senior yeah um and you know and they were like this was awesome guys like we let's do it for january you guys crushed it um you guys need to come back yeah and so they had invited us back and said hey you tell us when you want to come back and so we kind of looked at our calendars it was my my idea to do the one-year podcast anniversary.
It was. And I think that was a good choice because, you know, for us, that was a momentous time. It was a big deal for us. We had actually been to Secrets the first time, Labor Day weekend of 2021. So it was like one year. So that's kind of how we did it. And we ended up, like I said, we ended up taking over the entire thing. We basically pre-bought all the rooms and then sold them. Right. So it was probably our first serious investment monetarily. I was scared. I'm not going to lie.
If you've been around Dan and I for any amount of time, you know that, like, he does the stuff and I freak out and think he's crazy. And then it works.
And then I'm like, right i mean so this was really the first i mean we we had tens of thousands of dollars invested in this we had built a website yeah we'd got a ticketing platform yeah we had this is really the first time we don't kind of tried to make all this work together yeah and it took us quite a few months to really get it to where we could even sell tickets like it was right it was a big we had to sign a contract we had to get the website set up yeah it was it wasn't an easy undertaking no but we did it and so um i just wanted to kind of give a little bit of backstory to kind of tell you like where we came from i mean think about it in january when we went we didn't have a website we didn't have anyway a ticket anybody we were just a group of friends that were like hey let's go you know yeah so i think that's something to know how far we came yeah in six months yeah so leading up to secrets we were not sold out we did end up selling out we did the day of the friday yeah we were a little nervous but we just had we had hope that it was all going to work out, and we ended up selling out, which was super exciting.
Mm-hmm. So, that's all I had. I just wanted to start with that. You wanted to prelim with all that. Yeah. Yeah, a little bit. Right. Okay. So, if you left off with us last week, you know that we just had an experience with Jersey Couple Thursday night.
Coming off of a high of that right we ended up in the pool thursday night most of the our swinger society friends um were there with us kind of celebrating doing a little pre-gaming getting ready for the adventures to come yeah um we probably stayed up too late and had too many drinks probably yeah because i don't think we didn't jump up early on on friday no we did not but i knew that people were gonna so people at secrets check-in is at three but you could come and like enjoy the pool and stuff at 11 so my goal was to be at the pool by 11 right so we did we got down there about 11 um meg was already down there setting everything up getting it all ready luckily we did this in January.
We were so unorganized. We had no idea what we were doing. This time, we were much more organized. I had bins and labeled. We had our merch. Everything was ready to go. We had a tent, tables, chairs. We were ready.
Luckily, by the time we got down there, everything was kind of set up but you immediately had to go into like work mode right so when i got there and checked in with the secrets staff um they came up to me and said um so where's your mc yeah and i looked at them and said where's party mark so if you don't know who party mark is he's been on our podcast good friend of ours we had confirmed with secrets that he would be there we had confirmed with him that he would be there however it had been like june so we went back and pulled the emails we confirmed him june we had confirmed at the first of august that he would be there so when they walked up to us and were like who's your mc like our mouth drop we'd be like what yeah like we had been promoting that party would be there so when they walked up to us and were like who's your mc like our mouth drop we were like what like we had been promoting that party mark was going to be there like that was part of our like yeah come to secrets and hang out with us and so we were like immediately our day friday started like in i mean i don't know if panic's the correct word, but it just, it was started rough.
It just started rough. I mean, I don't know. And then simultaneously to that, because at this point in time, the resort wasn't sold out. Yes, correct. So there were still rooms remaining. And so we were trying to essentially balance the books with secrets on which rooms they were going to sell versus which rooms we were going to sell. And kind of working through how all we were going to do that.
Yeah, because like had put our deposit down but we had not paid our final ballots the goal was to pay that prior to right but because we weren't sold out and because we hadn't right rooms were booking every day we hadn't got final numbers we were trying to wait so dan's ends up having to leave to go to the bank and he's frustrated but, but he's leaving, and it's like noon, and here I am, topless at the pool, he is leaving, we have no MC, we have no MC, Meg's sweating, everybody's having a great time, so like, this is what you don't see behind the scenes, right, this is what's going on in Dan and Lacey and Meg and Ashlyn and Jeff's world, but everybody else, no, Jeff isn't even there yet, so if you don't know who jeff is he's our business partner for swing your study so he's not even there yet so like all of this is going on i haven't ate anything so i'm starving i'm texting jeff though he knows yeah he knows what's going on um so we ended up so you end up leaving to go get so we were like gonna get we're just gonna pay for what we had the total we had and we were going to adjust yeah adjust you know later just so that way they knew they were getting their money so you left to go to the bank and then i feel guilty i'm like i can't socialize with people because i knew you were pissed off i could tell by the look on your face that you were pissed off and you ended up up calling me.
There was issues with the bank. Because we had just set up, this is a business account, we had just set up, my name wasn't on the signature card or something. Even though you have a debit card and you have everything. And they could fix it, but I had to wait on a banker and it was going to be like a three hour away. And it was a whole mess. Yeah. So I ended up, but first you typed in the bank name in your phone and you went to that location and it was an ATM. It was an ATM machine, like in, you know, like in the AC area. Yeah.
And he texted me, he called me and he was like, this is not a fucking bank. This is an ATM. And I knew immediately I was like, oh God. Cause that one was like five minutes down the road. No big deal. The next one was like 30 minutes down the road. Yeah. So I knew he was stressed out. I went ahead and ordered him food. So when he got back, he would have food and alcohol. And so he ended up coming back. I go to the bank. I can't do anything at the bank.
So I up coming back um talk to secret say hey this is all messed up like and they were like don't worry about it we'll get it settled you know they knew we were gonna pay them yeah so um so the morning started off chaotic and then i like i said i felt like i couldn't like uh there's a fine line when you host and you throw an event you want to be social you want to like meet and greet with people. But you also have to handle the business side of it. And so there's such a fine line between the two of those. And when you were gone, I knew I needed to be like in the pool, like chatting.
Because people paid like a lot of money to come. And I wanted them to have the opportunity to meet me and you. But you weren't there. But it felt wrong.
it just felt wrong right so then i got back from the bank talked to the secrets we worked all that out and figured out kind of how we're going to deal with that um but um and then we're like well we have to come up with something for this to emcee this pool party that's essentially like we do have a really good friend i'll say his name starts with a c so we'll call him c and he's kind of one of those guys that's like the life of the party always so he grabbed you and was like we got this like we can do this we can do this i was like all right and we had somehow found games they had found games we had lots of stuff to give away and so the guys just took over and i don't think I don't think anybody in the pool would have a clue.
That that wasn't the plan. That that wasn't the plan. It just, you know, like we did behind the scenes. Right. But. Inside, we're freaking out. Yeah. Outside, it looks like Dan and C and Jay here have this whole party planned out for the pool. Y'all did good. There was some limbo. What else? We did the splash. Oh, yeah.
That was that oh that was good that was hard yeah i didn't pay attention you didn't see the biggest splash competition no i did not yeah we did limbo with the ladies and then we did the man did the biggest splash like a belly flop contest yeah and then there's one there's one more um oh the ring toss on the the strap toss. Oh, cool. Yeah. So you did good. I mean, we improvised. And Secrets promised that they would have someone there for Saturday. So we really just had to cover Friday. They were going to bring in their local guy for Saturday. Yes. So just a slight miscommunication maybe.
I don't know.
we got through the pool party everybody had fun it was a good time um i think at this point in time we're starting to our nerves are a little bit starting to calm down yeah the first half of saturday friday was the first couple three four hours were like everybody's panicked yeah um but yeah I'd say after like the pool party we ended up going um to our room and kind of getting ready so we had the q a was that first uh no so friday oh sorry i'm friday is the uh we did tick tocks yes so friday we had a bunch of uh like the room crawl we did a private um like staff party for the all the people that help us uh orchestrate the facebook group and people realize how many people it takes to keep this operation going you know it's not just our podcast it's our we have two facebook groups our discord instagram i mean there's so many people that help so we wanted to like take a moment and say thank you to them right so so like yeah like you're saying legitimately at this point like people who are on salary um you know there's like six of us yeah now people that help with discord facebook and all of that for free there's like 50 people that are in some type of leadership admin moderator safety patrol like whatever influencer host role yeah in some type of a role yeah um so on friday um before the room crawl we wanted to have like a little private party we just wanted to say thank you so we had a few like snacks and we um took shots of Panac because Panac was so sweet to donate um 16 bottles so we had plenty of pinak to go around so we did you know a few toast did some shots um i kind of cheered up for a minute yeah no that was good yeah friday friday was good it was like a it was just crazy to think that in january we were just there with, like, you know, 10 of our friends.
And here we are in August with, like, a room full of people that help us keep this operation going. It's really crazy. Yeah. So, we had, you'd gotten some different platters and plates. And we had a little huddle there. Mm-hmm. Did a little toast. And we immediately went into the meet-and-greet.
I saw somebody said that i was late to the meet and greet which is not true it was in our room how can i be late but yeah so we i felt like we were running late all weekend but no yeah we were pretty on time for the staff party we were on time we actually left the staff party 15 minutes early because i need i'm pretty introverted so i need like a little bit of like give me five minutes i need my own space you know so i was like can we just go and sit in our room for 15 minutes and so we did and then we opened our doors and everybody got to come in we took lots of pictures we had our cake our podcast cake um we had tons of pinac shots i've got some gifts people brought me some gifts you were giving away the beer cap bottle openers yeah um there was a ton of people that came to our room um for the room crawl on on friday we got to meet so many people um i felt like the room was just packed the whole time it was packed and what's crazy is we their secrets has two, and we had one, and our business partner had the other.
And so, like, everybody wanted to see our room. Like, everybody kept wanting to walk to the back of our room, and I would be like – I would take them back there because, like, my purse was back there. Your computer – you know, I didn't want – not that I thought anybody at Secrets would sell our stuff, but you don't know. So I was, like, taking them back and showing them the room and stuff. Yeah. But it was a lot of fun.
I don't think we've really – I think that maybe this is a good opportunity to talk about the room or not a little bit because i don't think we really talked about our room so we had the 007 room which was basically two rooms that they made into right which is a two room suite and so one of the rooms is an interior room and one of the rooms is an exterior room so it's almost like a long hallway kind of room like it's two rooms back to back yeah so the front has like a you know a living room a stripper pole and then a good size kitchen kitchenette i guess there's not a stove there with four or five seats yeah full-size fridge and then in between there in the bedroom is a toilet that's you know has a door that shuts and then the next room it's just one long thing the next area is the bed and then it has a vanity and it has a huge walk-in shower that has the tile has 007 written on the tile yeah and the shower had like these two big rain shower heads it was a nice shower yeah so and then we had two beds you know swinger 101 you always get the room with two beds.
I don't, I don't understand why would you not want two beds? Yes, you do not. Two beds. One to play in and one to sleep in. So, you don't have to sleep in messiness. Messiness? Mm-hmm. What kind of messiness? Some girls make messes. Oh, some girls, huh? Mm-hmm. What kind of, what kind of girl would do that? Um, me.
Um, so, yeah, so we did the room crawl crawl it was good um it was only an hour so it wasn't super long um but i was i had a hard time getting ready for friday night because there was a lot of people in our room and they weren't leaving yeah so the room crawl ended and i think we had scheduled in like you know an hour not long like an one hour, yeah. When the room crawl ended and then when like we were supposed to meet at the club to take pictures. But you're right. Like they didn't leave. The lingering factor. At some point, I just.
Not anything against the people that if you lingered in our room, we're not mad at you. No, I didn't mind it at all. I just, you know, I mean, like I just didn't want to change. So I just started getting ready, and so eventually they did leave, so I, so I, this is, like, another behind the scenes, so I put my outfit on, and I hated it, but I had to be at pictures, like, at nine, so typically at AVS Hub events, this is not unusual, the influencers usually take pictures together and stuff, so we had a plan to meet at like nine. I don't know if that's exact, but like nine for pictures.
So I'm like, I got to be on time. I don't like to be late. So I'm like hightailing it. And I wasn't late. I made it. But I absolutely hated my outfit. I felt uncomfortable. It had rained a little during the room crawl. So it was super hot and muggy in Florida.
in florida i just i guess i didn't realize so you went down there initially in your original outfit yeah okay and i felt like i was gonna have a panic attack like honestly i think the day caught up with me and i felt like i um didn't have enough air and i and i realized that i was like okay I'm not okay and so I took like I didn't have enough air. And I realized that. I was like, okay, I'm not okay. And so I took like two or three pictures and I looked at Daphne and I said, I have to go. I have to go back to the room. I have to change. I have to, I got to calm down.
So I left and went back to the room. I literally stripped down, but naked. And laid in the bed. No, no, I didn't lay in the bed i stood there and ate the cake i had i was completely to be fair like you having a panic attack about your outfit is a every event we go to kind of thing i think we've talked about this several not every event but it is not unusual it is not unusual but i think it was a combination of my outfit, the day, the overwhelming, just, I had not stopped all day. I literally went from one thing to another. And so I took off all of my, all of my clothes.
All I had on was my flower crown.
And I stood there and and ate the birthday or the one-year podcast anniversary cake um and so i think i had stayed behind because like you had been in a flurry to get ready and get out of there so like i don't think i hadn't even gotten in the shower yet by the time you like so i i uh jumped in the shower showered and i was like still getting ready as you came like back in and like i was like i'm not okay i'm not okay and katie's messaging katie and i are similar in size and she loves honey burnette and i love honey where i text her i was like what honey burnette do you have because the theme was um midsummer's night so i was wanting something like purple or light or something so i did know what i had it just felt uncomfortable in my skin just that you know like very rarely even if i don't like my outfit i usually wear it you know but this time no go so i stripped down i went through my bag i had some cake ate some cake drank a sprite probably took a shot felt a little better i changed my outfit i had a purple lace like amazon i took off my like 400 dress put on 20 amazon lace lingerie set bodysuit right bodies yeah it felt great and i went back yeah we went together this time you walked down i was ready at this point in time in my silk pajamas yeah you wore and i wore you wore white silk pajamas i wore my purple outfit and i had a white silk robe so it kind of it wasn't i mean that whole that whole took like 30 minutes oh yeah it was very quick we're back down there like 9 30 yeah it was super quick i just i needed to step away and regather and and then i was okay um but when we got back down there we go to step away and regather and, and then I was okay.
Um, but when we got back down there, we go to walk in and we don't have a VIP area. Right. And so we were, which sounds like we're complaining, but we, we rented out the, every single space. And so we had no, we rented out all the VIP areas.
We rented out every room, everyana and then we didn't have a vip section we were like what right luckily but it wasn't right so when we were planning for this there was supposed to be a vip area right in front of the stage yeah and then there's all the vip couches that are kind of around so we had reserved that reserved for both friday and saturday night this front the front of the stage vip for all of our influencers not just right for all like 20 of us right um and so i think normally secrets doesn't do that front stage vip on a friday night i think they're not used to doing that i don't think they normally do that so i think they just didn't have it set up because that's not a normal thing that they do um but then but because we had reserved that and all the rest of the vip was sold out it was like yeah well then we have nowhere to like yeah we have nowhere to sit if we don't set that up luckily meg was down there meg got lexi who honestly lexi she was our credit um you know shout out to lexi if you're listening to this i hope you are we should definitely text her this but she definitely saved it i mean she made sure we were fed and we had alcohol and drinks she really checked in on you and us the whole weekend she could look at me and be like you're not okay what do you need what do you need can i get you a drink can i get you a water or she would just come with a fireball shot you know she just knew so she really took good care of us and so within 15 minutes they had our entire vip section set up like they were rolling any couches so there's like dollies you know this is early i mean this is like you said 9 30 10 o'clock not even 10 o'clock yet and so like normally at that time you know the club is just starting to get but it was already pretty busy in there and so they're bringing couches in through the crowd of people and setting up the vip area and it was kind of wild but they got it all set up for us they did and then the night went off without a hitch i mean it was no issues whatsoever once we got that set up we danced like i said earlier oh i didn't say it on the podcast i said it on tiktok live but i still i danced on stage alone which is a big deal for me yeah so i think the first thing we should mention is dj life of spice oh yeah was the dj for friday night he was which was was a great moment for him i think oh for sure yeah and if you don't know life of spice i mean dj life spices you know the mister of life of spice yeah uh he's a dj been a dj a long time he's really good he's very good he's an edm kind of guy that's kind of his jam but uh you know i think this was one of his first, like, big, like, lifestyle.
I think he's DJed in some clubs and stuff before. But this first, like, lifestyle big event kind of where he's. Well, he did PCAP. Yeah, he did that. You're right. You're right. So he's done some bigger thing. So, but he was wonderful. And I was, it was, again. He had stayed up the whole night before. They had the LED board behind the DJ booth.
And he and he had stayed up you know i guess late the night before that weekend uh and he had made swinger society graphics and logos to put on that on that big board yeah um so yeah you got him up on stage you got the swinger society logo and giant you know leds behind him that's awesome um the club is packed we have all our friends there another one of those moments like we said before like you know eight months before we went it's just you know some friends that were going to secrets and then you know eight months later he's up there dj and you know and then mrs lava spice was precious oh my god she is such his biggest fan it was so cute she was staring at him all night recording taking pictures it was so cute i loved it um but i got to emcee the club that night yeah you you did some stuff up there look at you like polishing up those skills that's right you might need them someday yeah you never know so yeah it was fun but then i did i got put on the stage i danced i showed my boobs yeah was a little out of my comfort stage.
Center stage. I looked up and everybody was looking at me. It was kind of crazy. But it was a good time. It was a good time. And then I can't remember what song he played. Do you remember? And he pulled his wife up there. Some song. I can't remember. I don't know the name of it. It wasn't a love song, but it was kind of a. If there's an EDM version of a love song, it was kind of like... Yeah, there was some song that he played for her. It was a good night. I mean, like, we really had a good time. We stayed... Oh, one thing is... So, somebody wanted to book a room, and... Right. So, this is...
Towards the end of the night. Towards the end of the night. Several people had came in on dates.
All I Need Is love tonight is the song is that yeah all i need is your love tonight yeah so she he pulled her up there for that and i think me and you danced and it was kind of like a little you know we always talk about how we have these moments at these these events and stuff i think that was that was definitely a moment a little moment for everybody yeah for sure right and then i got it pulled away there was some lady that wanted the room and she came to me she i don't know how she found me but she came to me and i got somebody was like hey i was trying to get a room and they said they're sold out and i was like no i'm not sure we're sold out so i had to go and help her get a room yeah so so he dan's gone and then i look around and i'm the only one left in the vip in the vip we're talking like 20 influencers and their spouses left my ass completely yeah i didn't have a purse i didn't have a debit card i didn't have a card like i had to pay somebody had to pay our tab so when you when you be fair we had spent a little bit of money on alcohol that weekend yeah so our total was 587 dollars so i was like lexi has anybody paid?
And she was like, no. And I was like, hmm, okay. So I was like, I will be back, I promise. I mean, like, obviously she knows what room I'm in. She's going to find me. But I was like, I promise I will be back. So I go out to the pool and everybody's like just having a fucking blast. And I'm like, what the fuck? y'all left me alone in the club and i gotta pay the tab which it comes up you know we have an account to pay for that so anyway so i get the card i go back i pay for the tab i ended up tipping a lot is you pay you tip $200 yeah on a $500 tab well that's 20%, right? Oh, it's 40. It's 40%.
Luxie deserved it. I mean, you're not wrong, but it's not. I mean, that's why you don't leave me in charge of that kind of shit. That's why you don't leave me. So I'm coming back to the pool. I've got the card.
And then apparently I'm the lost and found because everybody left their shoes, their wings i got hats so i'm like walking out i've you know i'm like y'all bitches left me and i've got all now i'm like i'm carrying angel wings okay so i'm not there at this time how does it go from everybody's no idea to like all of a sudden you realize you're alone no idea like how did that i don't know did you go to the bathroom and came back or what i really have no idea that's the truth i don the truth. I don't know. You just lost everybody. I was a little tipsy. Uh-huh.
And I just remember turning around and everybody's gone. And I'm like, hmm. But you don't know how that happened? No. Were you napping? No. They just disappeared? They just disappeared. I walked out. I'm like, Jeff, what the fuck? Because you're at the front desk. And he's like, I thought we paid. I'm like, nobody paid. There's more to this. I have to get the other side of that story at some point. Yeah, go ask Jeff. You can get his side of the story. But yeah, maybe I was dancing and saying, I don't know what I was doing. Honestly, I don't know. Like, that doesn't add up to me.
Like, okay, I leave.
That makes that makes sense i leave to go help with a room but somehow you went from partying with your friends to now you're alone like how did that transition they're all saying it happened fast like they were there and then they were gone so i don't know how it happened i just looked up and i was the only one and then i had to go find lexi i'm like is he my page she's like no and i'm like those bitches they left me they would have i mean she wasn't worried about it but still i was like i will come back um so then we all dj life of spice moved his dj equipment out to the pool and uh dj'd out there for a while we all ended up in the pool with um us and all of our friends pretty sure you fucked me in the pool that night oh probably multiple times yeah we didn't you know a lot of a lot of people got to play they a lot of people went to the playrooms um a lot of people had a lot of fun but we just went to bed together which is totally fine it's totally fine not all swinging is about hooking up with other people like we one i was just too damn exhausted well i think we went to the pool after because a lot of our friends had broken off to go play at this point like once you leave the club a lot of our friends you know you know i think we got invited to to do we did get invited but we were like hey we can't just bail on everybody we did get invited both nights but we definitely felt um obligated obligated to be like around yeah yeah i mean like could we have sunk off for an hour and then came back yeah we could have but it just i felt like it wasn't fair to people that had booked to come and hang out with us for us to be like peace out we're going to get it in i just felt i just i personally felt that way right so so i mean i think we stayed up to the pool till two three o'clock in the morning yeah we did it was another three o'clock in the morning time then we went to bed yeah we went to bed now i don't the me and katie thing was that friday or saturday that was friday night was it friday night oh and i i oh let's touch on so let's touch on all those real quick because then we have to go to break yeah we do need to talk about these two little things so um we have a friend who is brand new to the lifestyle well i say that they've been coming since december but they're still newer they have not full swapped and they are getting there's they're very slow at getting into it which totally respect but they're getting more comfortable they're getting more comfortable so um two of our friends were giving him a blowjob in the pool and i happened to come walking up and they were is this after the club on friday no this is during the day on friday and um i happened to come walking up and they're like lacy help us and i'm like okay of course so i like jump right in we gave like a three-way yeah and i fin you know it was when i say it was maybe a 30 second type thing it wasn't like we like, we're going to do this until he finishes.
It was more of like, hey, I'm just here. Let me do it for a second. And anyway, I turned around and I realized that you were not there. Right. And that's one of our rules is that we have to be together for all play. Or at least like check in. Like, it'll have to be like right there.
Yeah, you don't have to be like be like holding my hand but yeah as long as we can like lay eyes on each other and um i turned around and realized that you weren't there and we talked about this actually just the other day i think i was in the office dealing with yeah we normally are always right there close to each other very rarely do we ever get out of each other's sights except for maybe to go to the restroom so i was like oh oh shit i was like i just broke a rule and so when you came out i came immediately yeah you were like like i was a preacher and you had to make a like you ran to me and we're like yeah i have to tell you something i have to tell you something i did something i said i did this to this person and it was you know in my head i'm like what did she buy like what because that's how normally when she comes to me with that type of like apologetic tone yeah i i mean i just really i just it didn't don't i didn't register that you weren't right there does that make sense like you're always right there until i turned around i was like holy shit he's not here right okay so let's tell your story no but so like my feelings i was like oh you weren't mad no he wasn't mad at all honestly like like knowing the people involved you could do that whenever you want yeah i'm not going to be offended by it no not at all not saying like i want to change our rules to where we can do that but like no no again a lot of this you know without getting too sidetracked because we're on you know on time with strength there but a lot of this is personality based right and if if it's a group of people that i know and i trust i'm much more understanding of bending some of our hard rules yeah yeah and i think you knew by the way that i reacted that it was an honest mistake had i like tried to hide it or something then that would have been different not a big deal but that just shows that like four months in i mean four months four years in that we still make mistakes yeah so then later this friday night later i was in the hot tub i think you were in the pool i was over it i was over it this is friday at the end of the night my tummy was upset i think just like the drinking the hot heat the everything i was actually at the bar with um sexy swinger trick getting a sprite um i just was over it right and i was in the hot tub with katie a bunch of people and daphne and um daphne came to me and was like what did she say i don't know i don't even really remember.
I was pretty shit-faced. I think they asked if they could give me Oral. Yeah, she asked if her and Katie. And I said, yeah, of course. You know, that's fine. And so, you know, they did. And then we left. And I was a little frustrated. With me? With, not with anybody Katie's watching. Not with any, not even with you, not with them.
I think watching not with any not even with you not with them i think i was just done oh you just weren't into it i just was over it i was exhausted i was right there so it wasn't like anybody was doing something that they shouldn't be i just i didn't feel good i was at line at the bar you were like having the time of your life i didn't feel good i was just kind of like can we just fucking go to bed you know which you know at the same time i had broken a boundary that day so obviously i had to give well it's funny because you started getting like a little like we went to bed whatever and you were like a little bit like well i don't know you know like i was done and you're still trying to play like that's not cool and i was like wait a minute you're the one giving people blowjobs and i'm not even like around yeah we had not an argument but we did have a little discussion about it but like i love both of those girls they absolutely and they did the right thing let me make that super clear they had they did not do anything wrong you didn't do anything you just weren't you were done at that point i was done at that point and i guess i felt like you should read my mind and know that i was over it and that i was getting a sprite and i was like ready for bed i don't know i just felt i was just done and that's okay typical husband like yeah getting in trouble for not reading a wife's mind yeah that makes perfect sense yeah uh but no it was all good yeah but i think why did we talk about stuff like that Because I think other couples have all these same things.

Yeah. So, again, we woke up to breakfast in bed. Daddy Mike. Thank you, Daddy Mike. Yes, thank you. He brought us a combination of McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts. Right. Those were our two. I'm not sure which days they fell on, but, yeah, he was clutched with one or the other. Yeah. Every single day. Reliable. Yeah. I think we might have even, like, by, like, Friday, it was like, you know, like.
He was just like was just like i got you food mike are you here yet you're like oh yeah doors open when you get back mike yeah so we woke up again um tried to get to the pool i think we got there a little earlier on saturday like 10 30 right again ashley and meg were getting everything set up set back up sit. Now, we did do a refined table set up because there was rain looming. Yeah, there was rain in the forecast. It was pretty obvious that it was going to rain. So, we kind of worked smarter, not harder, and kind of planned the booth and stuff around the rain. Right.
We tried not to put out as much clothes and stuff. So, that way, if it did start to storm, we could easily break it down and move it out of there. We had an MC on Saturday. We did. Mr. Tim. Yes, he did a good job. I mean, he's no party mark. He's not. He even came up to me at the beginning and he said, hey, I am not party mark. I'm a little less. Sexual. Vulgar, right? Yeah.
He's like, I do some fun pool games, but it's not going to be drill doing people on the side of the pool i mean the drill doe is fine i mean i'm with you but it depends on your crowd like if you're a newer crowd the drill doe might be that's what we said we're like hey this is what you know this is a newer crowd is you know like maybe that's a good thing like you know we're not gonna tell you how to do your job do your thing and yeah no i was super grateful for him he did a good job did a good job he put a Swinger Society t-shirt. We got him a t-shirt.
Cut the sleeves off because that was kind of his look. That's like his look. Like he had that like macho man kind of look. Right. Yeah. So he did good. So the pool was a lot of fun. It was super hot. Again, Saturday was much calmer for us. Right.
Because I think all the fires had been put out at this point yeah everyone was checked in we were sold out um it so everything was just like everybody's good everybody's here um we're okay so um so definitely saturday poll day was a lot of fun do you agree i do agree i mean like you said because i didn't have to emcee the thing like i got to kind of enjoy it like got to participate got to get in the pool got to talk to some people um got to sit down in the cabana and actually eat without running from to the bank through the office of the bank to the you know. Yeah. It was fun.
It was a good time. So, Saturday was just very chill. Again, like, by the time you get down to the pool, like, 11 or 12, and you eat, and then it's, like, 4 or 5 before you know it. So, on Saturday, we did the Q&A.
And we had to be there, like, at 4.30, which, like, tips for next year, maybe don't do that so early yeah but then i know you don't have time for everything on the other side yeah um but i like staying at the pool the bulk of the day to me that's what makes secrets fun you can go to a swinger club now i will say the good thing if there was a saving grace to that having to leave the pool it rained as we were getting out of the pool to go get ready for the q a it started lightning and raining yeah so everybody ended up having to get out of the pool anyway yeah so as a group we just decided to just kind of look like shit at the q a because like honestly if it started at 4 30 in order for us to go back shower fix our hair dry it we would have to leave at the pool at like three and like some of them didn't even get down there till noon right so we did um so we you know if you not that any of you look like shit no but you know what i mean like we're not gonna put evening gowns on we're gonna just look yeah we just kind of look casual so um i don't know if you if you got to watch the q a we streamed it on tiktok we may turn it into a podcast i haven't recorded yet it's definitely gonna be a podcast yeah so just we did that in january and what was there like maybe seven of us i don't know the exact total and how many there was like 20 there was like 20 of us this time it was definitely interesting to see the ones of us that are used to going live, that have been talking publicly.
You can definitely see the difference between the newer girls and the older girls, you know, that have been around for a while. So I think that's going to be exciting to see it next year. How will it, you know, change? Well, we've been talking about this. Like, if we double again, or even if you get a third more people, how are we even going to, like, have time to go around the circle once? You know what I mean? Yeah, it's going to be crazy. But the Q&A is fun. It's just, like, a really good opportunity for, like, you to ask questions and get different answers.
And kind of, it's just an opportunity to break down some of the stigmas around the lifestyle. No, it was great.
I think I always enjoy seeing women um sit up on a stage and talk intelligently and about the lifestyle and answer you know to be fair a lot of those questions are not easy you know those are you know you know and this was you know we we just asked for questions from like discord in the audience this wasn't they weren't like pre-screen like scripted like nobody knew what questions they were going to get asked um you know it was a real like a legitimate q a like there wasn't oh yeah it was a lot of fun like people rehearsed what their answer was going to be or you know it wasn't like a pageant or anything like that like these you know i didn't even know like they handed me a list of questions at the beginning of the q a and i had not seen those questions prior to that yeah no we hadn't we didn't pre do anything but everybody handled themselves very well i agree i agree so um from the q a we um we also we made some tiktoks and stuff like that because that's also part of our job we did some tiktoks we're doing a campaign for consent counts for national coalition for sexual freedom so we did some of that like kind of some of that busy work that we unfortunately have to do at these type of things we did that and what was after that um yeah so we did tiktoks and took pictures and all that then it was time we actually had one hour to rest yes we did we had one hour now in hindsight i probably should have started 30 minutes before because so if you if you didn't see any of our pictures i was jasmine and you were aladdin and i decided um to do my hair fancy and our good friend katie which we've talked about on the podcast and meg who works for us they were roped into helping me get ready.
Right, because people don't know is a what do you call that a makeup person a yeah she's a makeup person what do you call like a makeup artist a makeup artist yeah she's a professional right and katie's been like professionally trained for that katie's a hairdresser and so i had practiced my hair a little bit at home and it was terrible it was terrible so i messaged her and i was like girl i need your help i need you i was like i will pay you so they came to the room and what should have been plenty of time however um i did run late uh so we well to be fair so this is you were on tiktok live the whole time i was on tiktok live so which is distracting to you.
It is very. I have ADHD. So that might have extended the time. So we had decided to meet at 9 to take pictures as a group. The club technically, I don't think, open until like 10. I don't know. I think it's open at 9. Nobody gets there at 9. So I ended up not being ready.
I ended up being ready like at 9 up being ready like at 9 15 the funny thing about that is as we were leaving the uh q a and the little photo shoot thing we gave a little speech and we're like all right girls like nobody here and i think lisa i think you were the one that was like no it was daphne it was daphne okay i am never late like i'm always just like i, I hated my outfit, but I got my ass down there. We emphasize being there on time. Yes, and I was, like, 20 minutes late. So, and of course, like, Hiley's calling me. We're getting texts, and I'm, like. You're stressing I'm stressing.
I'm like, tell them they can start without me, which is true. They couldn't, you know, like, I love that they wanted to wait on me. But I was like, it's okay for y'all to start. I don't have to be in all of them. Y'all start. I'll be there in 10 minutes. So, we ended up, like, we didn't take, we didn't make any TikToks. We didn't take, the only pictures we took were, like, some friends of ours were taking pictures. And they were like, you have to get a picture together. Yeah, yeah. So we have very few pictures, very, like, no TikToks.
I have saved my phone, like, a whole new world, TikToks, and, like, all of this stuff. And I didn't get any of them done. Yeah. So I was really disappointed because my outfit was, like, pretty badass. Mm-hmm. And I looked really hot. I'm just going to say. Mm-hmm. I'll toot my own horn. I thought I looked pretty. You did. And you were a very handsome Aladdin. Yeah, with the boo in my pants. You carried the boo in your pants all night. I don't know why. People loved the monkey in the pants. It was a big hit. Yeah, it was.
So it was just, like, again, like, a a crazy night we just kind of had to rush in um but it was it was fun the club was great we our vip was set up vip was set up we didn't have to wheel in couches no no couches tim was there to emcee we didn't have to emcee nobody left me to pay the bill nobody left you um life of spice didn't dj on saturday that way he could be with us and enjoy the party um we had a lot of good times yeah it was saturday night at the club was so much fun it was a little overwhelming for me i could barely get out of the vip area because people were like can i take a picture and you know which i wanted to do all of those things.
I had no problems with that. But if I went to walk to the bathroom, I almost had to have someone walk with me to help me get back. What would be a 30 or 45 minute trip to get there and back out? Because I'm not the type of girl that I'm just like, I'm going to stand there and talk to you. And I'm going to be kind and sweet.
So I'm not super super quick and we have a rule that if you haven't seen me late eyes on me in 15 minutes you have to confine me yeah um so there was we finally kind of learned that um like somebody has to go with me at this point which is crazy who would ever thought though i can't go to the bathroom by myself. And Bill got to be on stage. And all of our friends had awesome costumes. Like Ashton Bo. She was a sexy ass Little Red Riding Hood. And we had Beth and Rip from Crackin' Beards. Where Beth and Rip from Yellowstone. Who else was awesome? There was lots of good.
They had the whole Scooby-Doodoo crew the scooby-doo crew kylie and all them um of course daphne and daddy mike were the perfect playboy bunny and cute they nailed that um so the theme was cosplay yeah the theme was cosplay so it was it was a lot of fun we had live a spice was um i will say friday and saturday night there were some people that really went hard oh yeah you know, we've been The Secret several times in the past. And the themes were kind of like, eh. You know, because you're at the pool all day and people don't really, like, I don't think invest hard.
But I think because this was, you know, Discord had been planning this. All the people on Discord had been kind of putting a lot of effort into this weekend. People were pretty serious about those themes.
Somebody else was Jasmine in Aladdinaddin too i saw another jasmine and they kept saying over the microphone like someone about riding my magic carpet ride or something is that what tim was saying yeah he kept saying it all night i'd just be dancing i'm like oh magic carpet ride woo yeah but it was a good time we went to sleep we ended up going back to the pool dj life spice played some more music by. Woo! Yeah. But it was a good time. We went to sleep. We ended up going back to the pool. DJ Life of Spice. Played some more music by the pool. Yeah. It was a good time.
Again, we just went to bed. I mean, we hung out until three, four. Wait. What? Wait. What? You played with Daphne in the cabana. I forgot about that. I'm sure she would appreciate that.
appreciate that no i mean i didn't forget i forgot like when we were writing in notes here i forgot about that yeah yeah because i think i don't know we hadn't really played with anybody all weekend i think i told you to i was like can you go can you go fuck her yeah you were like tired you were gotten to where you were done and i think i was trying to fuck you and you're like just take daphne and go fuck her do it with her i can't that's what we do they've so we get a lot of shit about daphne they think that like you're gonna leave me for her and so they don't realize that half the time i'm like daphne right it's more of like a team effort go do it right it's not i'm gonna leave you for her you pawn me off on her when you get sick do it i'm over it it's like it.
I'm over it. It's like, we've been here since Tuesday. I'm exhausted. We got to drive home tomorrow. Just go. Go do it. I'll cheer you on from the pool. It was good. Yeah. It was pretty hot, like, looking at it. Like, the way, the angle that you had her was pretty hot. Because I sat on the couch and she got on top. Yeah, it was pretty hot. Indeed. Yeah.
So, we're a a good team and me and mike just sit there and like high five and watch you yeah i'll just have my sprite in the pool i don't i don't need much give me some m&ms and a sprite i'm good good uh yeah and then saturday sunday we got up and we had to get oh my gosh all of our shit out of there, y'all. We were on the second floor. And it wasn't only our shit, but we had a whole extra room of shit. Yeah, like we actually took over two rooms. Well, three. I mean, ours was a double room and a third room with our stuff in it. So we had to load all of that up.
And then we went separate directions. So we both, we had two cars and we had to go our separate ways. And of course, the truck, I couldn't get, I had to drive the truck home. I couldn't get the cruise control to work. So I was like irritable from like. Being hungover and tired. From being hungover and tired.
My legs were tired and the cruise control wouldn't work and so i would call me this thing i'd call you like every two hours this fucking thing it's broken and i'm like trying to tell you how to do it and you're like it's not working it's broken and so you know we just got back together um what saturday friday um from uh and ofhmm. From the first time we've seen each other. And, of course, it worked as soon as he touched the button. So, I get in the truck and, like, let's see what's wrong with this cruise control. And I push the button. It turns right on and it works.
So, I don't know what you were doing, but. I don't know. They're welcome to our life. Mm-hmm. But, overall, secrets, I feel like it was a success. We did not lose money. Didn't lose money. I felt like everybody had a good time, even though behind the scenes, there was a lot of times that we were like, holy shit. Is this going to play out the way that we planned?
