I know.
And it was like kind of one of those experiences, like how the hell did we end up here? Exactly. Which happens in the lifestyle quite often. We've talked to people about that. It's like the one thing about the lifestyle is you're going to find yourself several times where you kind of stop and you look around and you're like, is this, is this my life? Yeah.
Like how did and not necessarily in a bad way no no there's it's it's always been really good experiences for me anyway i i agree i think you know it's actually probably worth noting that you know we've both been doing this well i don't know seven years someone like that um you know both together and apart and uh i can only think of like a couple of experiences where i would like well i wish that didn't happen or yeah you know if i had to do that over again i probably wouldn't have done that or wouldn't have went there and did that but uh yeah overall overall i'd say the lifestyle is uh a good place with good people and good experiences no i totally agree all right so this is this is a story of of that uh but first before we get going to that, let's let's give a little life update.
Yeah, we've got a lot, a lot going on in the last couple of months. It's been a crazy few months. And I feel like we've been in such a rush, like get podcasts edited and like most of the podcasts we've done were like interviews and stuff. So we didn't have a lot of time to just like talk or chat.
So we haven't really talked haven't talked to people and told them what's going on lately all right so what's what's going on in the southern girls life here we recently moved we moved houses we moved out same area just down the road right we just need a little bit more space the house is a disaster zone right now it's so bad right now like moving is not for the faint of heart and not only that moving and traveling and doing all the things while you're moving makes it very difficult but i keep trying to tell myself that it will eventually all get done but i would be lying if i didn't say it didn't stress me out no we don't know where our kitchen table is right now no we can't even see it we got the kitchen table and for easter had easter dinner and we have not seen it since yeah it's just covered with stuff but you're right it'll it'll be okay um okay second keep telling myself it'll be okay yeah well and the funny you know the thing about that is it's like all right well you know eventually we're gonna have time to like focus on the house and get unpacked and get everything situated but then you look at our schedule for the next six months and you're like but i don't know where in there that's gonna fit yeah so that's gonna be i think an ongoing saga the unpacking and organizing of the house yeah it might it might take us two years to move it i don't know i can't handle it it's making me anxious but it's fine And, like it'll all get done yeah um i just keep telling myself that over and over again other big news as of thursday so actually the day this episode podcast releases i will be retired officially retired yeah after 20 years of serving in the u.s army Army.
Oh, you're going to tell them. Everybody knows. Oh, I'm like a little teary-eyed. Are you? Yeah, I didn't know you were going to do that. Well, I think at this point it doesn't matter, right? Oh, hey. What? I didn't know. We didn't talk about this. You had retirement on there. Sorry.
You had retirement on there, but I didn't know you were actually going to tell them yeah so i joined the army when i was 17 years old and for the last 20 years that's that's what i've been doing yeah and okay yeah and uh that that end and ends a big chapter yeah of our lives of our lives yeah it does and i'm sorry i didn't know i didn't know i'm sorry well i don't know why that made you so emotional i didn't expect that well i just didn't know that you were going to tell like that's been like a big thing that we've kind of kept under wraps so i didn't know that you were going to say it it's also like bittersweet because it's like coming to an end and we worked so like i mean obviously you've done the work but like getting here like to the finish on you know it just kind of it just makes me emotional well i appreciate it i'm sorry i'm sorry i didn't know i didn't know no i think there's no point in hiding it at this point i mean it's been people have doxed their information and released it here and there and we've never confirmed it but yeah yeah 20 years in the army and uh i'm very proud of you just for the record multiple deployments to the Middle East and done the whole thing.
I joined right after 9-11 and it definitely is a kind of a bittersweet thing. I'm going to miss, you know, that whole, we did TikToks while you were gone. We've, we've managed and, you know, and we, you know, we've been on TikTok for almost two years now. And, and honestly, you know, being so out and open about our lifestyle while still, you know, in, in uniform has been scary to say the least. And I think it's, you know, maybe a big part of why I'm so passionate about trying to normalize this and make it okay.
Because, you know, I know several people, you know, obviously, I'm not saying names that are in the service, you know, swinging in the service is not uncommon. Oh, it's very common. It's very common. We know several people. And, you know, again, I don't think because you do this, you know, with your spouse and you're on the weekends, that has anything to do with how you serve your country. And when you fight for freedom, like, you know, literally and lose friends and stuff, I think it puts that much more effort on why, you know.
sorry why we're so passionate about what we do um with the lifestyle because it's had a big impact on our life and you know i think we're gonna keep we're gonna keep fighting i can't keep it the other from one freedom to kind of another freedom yeah right i'm very proud of you well i appreciate that um and yeah so i think maybe we'll talk a little bit more about that going forward now that kind of that fear of reprisal is kind of gone once that is when this release that retirement paperwork will be finalized and done and I'll be moving on.
So while everybody gave us so much shit over the years about how we could live in two houses and like how that's so weird that we're swingers, but we live in two houses and we're separate all the time like it was all i could do not to be like you don't fucking have a clue people like he's serving in the military you know this like it got to the point where i was like well this is a very common job and a lot of people um oh baby are you tearing up why you cry make me sorry um you know Like, people would give us so much shit on the internet about like how we could live separate and it was all i could do not to be like listen motherfuckers like this is a very common thing there's so many military spouses that live away from their husbands like it's not uncommon but people on the internet just really had a very hard time with that.
So to not like argue back was really hard, but we did it. Yeah. So, I mean, it's very common. They call it, you know, geo-batching or geo-batch, meaning you live separately from your spouse.
You know, because with kids and schools and jobs and like it's very common for one spouse to have to move and, you know, do the thing to try to you know because you're trying to do what's best for your family and yeah you know not uproot them and move them all the time and you know sometimes you can do that and sometimes you've got to wait you know and so um for the last couple years we've been waiting and not yeah just so we didn't have to move schools for kids and just uproot kids because we knew we were at the end. So it made more sense for us to just kind of we sacrifice for the family.
So it's really exciting. And honestly, the whole swinging thing, it also made swinging like we never do anything separate, but it made that part also challenging.
Would would you agree like and maybe we can we can do a podcast on that but you know we would like meet at events because we would be coming from separate places and we'd have this awesome weekend and then we would have to go our separate ways and all of our friends were like reconnecting and having these like this awesome high from the week after swinging and you and i were separate yeah we did several times like you're saying we'd have to meet at an event or we would you know have an event and then go separate ways and yeah definitely made it challenging where you didn't you know necessarily have that time to really decompress or connect with your partner before and or after an event so yeah some unique challenges there but yeah somehow we navigated it all and we did it babe we did it did it yeah i'm sorry no it's okay you're good let's change subjects i can quit crying okay so what is um upcoming let's talk about we got a lot of stuff in the in the pipeline coming down um as far as events and things go so you want to want to go over some of that yeah so our summer is very busy personally and professionally i guess which is crazy that swinging is kind of our profession um so we will be this comes out thursday we leave saturday for hedonism 2 in jamaica which is awesome we're taking kind of a small group but i mean i think there's like 20 25 30 maybe 30 it's like 12 couples so yeah like 24 people yeah yeah um to hito um which is super exciting just one because it's an awesome vacation and two we get to meet these people and hopefully give them like and like a really awesome experience to have us there with them to kind of give them tours and show them around and help them navigate their first time at Hedo.
So that's super exciting. After that, we'll be home for like a week and a half. And then we will be at Splash Atlanta, which last I heard, they only had like 15 rooms left. I don't really know what it is. We've got a lot going on. Splash Atlanta is a huge event. It's almost like a mini Nip Nauti in New Orleans, but in the Atlanta area. It's a lot of fun.
It really threw me for a loop last year because I didn't think it was going to be as awesome as awesome as it was and it really really was um especially to be in the land air so it's not super far from us it's a really good time and a lot of hot sexy people there yeah no and i mean their playrooms and the club i mean they they go all out i mean they they bring it so super looking forward to that yeah um and then after that we will be at naughty in new orleans first week of july which is a great week um new orleans is fun in itself you add in um you know a couple thousand swingers and you can't you can't go wrong yeah i mean naughty new orleans is you know one probably one of the largest lifestyle kind of conventions is what I would call it.
I don't really call it a hotel takeover in the country. And yeah, a couple thousand swingers taking over Bourbon Street. They're going to have classes, seminars. You know, they have a whole, I don't know, thousands of square feet of playrooms. You know, you take over a day parties on Bourbon Street, club nights in the hotel.
I mean mean it's it's a it's an adventure yeah we'll also be hosting a day party so if you're coming stay tuned they haven't announced the schedule yet so not 100 sure which one we'll be hosting but it will be out soon enough as soon as we know you'll know correct um after naughty in New Orleans, we are going to the ASN Awards in Las Vegas. That first week of August, we have been nominated for nine ASN Awards. So for everyone who has been voting, thank you. We would love your support. I think you can vote through June something. I don't know. Maybe June 15th. I can't remember.

And after like three episodes or three issues, I guess is the correct term, they were nominated for an ASN award. And that is all volunteer-based. So none of these people are getting paid.
They're literally just donating their time because they are passionate about the cause. I mean we have doctors and PhDs and people contributing articles to that um lots of good subjects it's nice because not everybody can put their face you know on tiktok and social media and talk about this stuff yeah um but but you know just about anybody can write an article and publish that and kind of so it's another way to uplist voices within the community and of course we're all about that and swinger society is all about that so to have another platform alt life magazine to be able to do that's a great thing and it's a lot of really good resources i sat down and read through the entire magazine and a lot of the questions that we get asked all the time they address them a hundred percent yep so go check that out for sure yeah all right anything else any other after asn we, we just launched a new event this week.
We just launched a new event. Yeah, we should talk about that. So it's the week after ASN. We are doing a campground takeover right outside of Helen, Georgia. It's called The Grove. People have been asking to do something swinger camping related. And so you ask, Dan figures it out. That's pretty much how it goes. I will tell you, finding a campground that will let everybody be naked, have sex, and, you know, a pool and a hot tub. That was a unique challenge that I didn't know what I was necessarily getting into. Your local, you know, campgrounds.
There's not too many people when you call them and say, hey, I want to throw a swingers party at your campground or like, yeah, sure. Come on down. But the Grove just happens to be the perfect play for that. They are a lifestyle friendly nudist campground. They have a cabin, the clubhouse, whatever you want to call it on premise. It's called the Den. With all the playrooms.
They have a nice pool um they got hot tubs um so if you've been to one of our secrets events you know this is kind of we're doing the same thing right but we're gonna do it at a campground so um we're gonna have pool parties we're gonna be playing games we're gonna be giving away prizes um we're bringing in a big giant wedding tent and we're gonna be having you know d, you know, DJs in the tent at night, kind of having club nights. Lacey made all kinds of cool themes. Yeah. So it's going to be a hell of a time. Yeah. And we can cram some people in there.
I mean, you know, we can have 500 people in the woods of Georgia living it up. So if you're interested in that, definitely go to swingerside.net. Check that out. And then the campground is just 10 minutes away. So you don't necessarily have to sleep in a tent. Okay. Okay. Well, I don't log into Facebook. You manage that. Right. So we've messaged back and forth a couple times like, hey, you know, if you're ever in the area, it would be nice to meet up. And we're like, yeah, sure, absolutely. But, you know, our schedules are so crazy. But we knew we were going to be in the area last week. Yeah.
and so i think one of the times she you know her or him i don't know which one messaged us and asked you know if you know if we were interested in meeting up with them um we had given them that week and said hey you know our schedule's really busy but this week we're actually going to be in your area you know once it gets closer let's reach out and see if we can work something out um so they did they messaged us and said hey are you still coming this week you're going to be around would you like to meet up um and so for us we looked at our schedule and we're like oh man like we're here during the week but then we have to bounce back uh home for a baseball tournament uh you know we just have we had a lot going on and we're like so if you want to meet up we could possibly do it one one evening during the week and uh they were like yes absolutely you know if you guys want to do it we're more than willing we'll drive to you you can drive to us like however you want to work it out we're about two hours apart they're about two hours away from us right and they had actually offered the drive to us um but then they brought up the then they they uh they dangled a carrot so to speak is that how you would call it that so they said hey um i know we're you know two hours away from you guys but if you're interested We'll see you next time.
they uh well they dangled a carrot so to speak is that how you would call it that so they said hey um i know we're you know two hours away from you guys but if you're interested our friends um have this nice house which have this mansion essentially um and we've used their mansion before to to shoot content and and hang out and do only fans lives and stuff like that so if if you're interested in coming to us we could ask our friends and we probably do do the photo shoot and stuff in their mansion and so i messaged lacy and i think i sent her a screenshot of the conversation or something and she's like we'll drive to them that's fine we'll drive to them i mean like how often do you get to go to a mansion well and then it goes you know what you said at the beginning of this episode it's like you know on a two what was it a monday it was a monday monday on a monday evening random monday we went and met with a couple we kind of knew but never met before um and then went to a mansion to have hot sex with them yeah that's that's the lifestyle for you that's a lifestyle and this is like yeah we're content creators but like but this is even if we weren't content creators the same thing could have happened oh i ended up like when I was a unicorn, I've ended up in like huge mansions in the middle of like bougie-ass Nashville, you know?
And I was like, how in the world did I end up here? I ended up in a mansion in Reno, Nevada one time and I got invited to by a couple. Yeah. Yeah. So it's crazy. These things happen. I'm telling you. They do. It happens. So yeah. So Sadie and Joe is their name. So they invited us and we were very honest with them.
We're like, hey we you guys seem hot and fun and we'd like to make content with you but we don't we never like promised that ahead of time just like I mean I know that there's a camera but it's very similar to real swinging like if you meet a couple online and you go out to dinner with them so it's very I mean it's, it's basically the same thing. Right. So we always want, you know, if we meet you in real life and we don't make a connection, we always want to be able to like politely excuse ourselves. So we don't want to set the expectation going in that, yeah, 100% we're going to make content.
Now we had kind of planned for it. Obviously, that's what the management and stuff was about.
But we were very clear like, hey, if there's not a connection there's not a connection like and they were super understanding and respectful most people are in the lifestyle because they also get it like it's kind of gives them an out as well right and they basically said the same thing yeah we're the exact same way you know if you guys would like to meet for dinner first we can meet have dinner kind of just feel each other out not literally but figuratively yeah and then if we've everybody's comfortable then we can go to the mansion. So we're like, okay, that sounds perfect. All right.
So we drive two hours from where I was working to where they were. And then when we're about 20 minutes, 30 minutes away from arriving at the restaurant, we get a phone call. Yeah.
And not to not go into too much detail, But it was just like a little family emergency with kids in life i mean it's just being a parent and shit comes up and so basically like the whole like the whole rest of the ride there we were dealing with that on the phone lacy's on the phone dealing with this family emergency um you're right something to do with the kids and we're not going to talk about exactly what it was uh but then we we pull up to their house and lacy's still on the phone trying to deal with this situation yeah um and so like and obviously like our kids and our families that always comes first so i was like i'm dealing with this they can wait we can be like i didn't mean, like, obviously, I'm respectful of their time.
But this was my priority at the moment. It was something we absolutely had to take care of and had the priority over anything. So, we, like, as we're sitting in, like, essentially in their driveway, we sent them a text and say, hey, we had a family emergency. Like, can you give us some? And we arrived, like, already. We're already, like, 15, 20 minutes late. We're sitting in their driveway.
We're like we're like hey we're dealing with something can you give us a few minutes to take care of they were so nice like of course and they were like yeah absolutely no problem uh so we literally sit in their driveway for like a half an hour right so we were 15 minutes late now it's another half an hour goes by so now we're like 45 minutes late um so we kind of wrap up the family emergency thing on the phone call uh we get to dinner we sit down with them we go to a nice beachfront um seafood place gorgeous right on the ocean be on the beach sat outside uh and kind of just talked you know and it's funny like what did we talk about like what do swingers talk about when they meet each other for the first time how long have you been in the lifestyle stuff like that but you know i guess because they kind of i was very honest when we walked up i was like guys i'm really sorry like i'm a little off right because that you know this family emergency thing happens that throws your whole headspace off right like yeah you're thinking hot sexy fun and then like now you're worried about you know family stuff and it just kind of throws your game off yeah I'll see you next time.
this family emergency thing happens that throws your whole headspace off right like yeah you're thinking hot sexy fun and then like now you're worried about you know family stuff and it just kind of throws your game off yeah for sure so but i was very honest i was like i'm sorry you know like this is what happened but so we actually had a lot of conversations about kids and life and family and because of everything so it was nice i think we kind of did that more than we did our typical swinger conversations and stuff which was kind of nice no and they you know the nice thing about them is they're very family focused they have kids that are heavily involved in sports and stuff and so you know we were able to relate about all that so yeah we had lots of of great conversations and then talked a little business you know talking about like only fans and ways of promoting and kind of how they do it how we do it which that's always nice like that you know kind of the tips of the trade yeah thing you know um yeah and just talked like you said general lifestyle things um but safe to say we hit it off pretty good with them right oh yeah uh so as we're leaving dinner they were kind of like hey no pressure but if you want to come back to the mansion we'd love to have you you know um and also as we're wrapping up dinner they drop uh oh yeah they drop a little nugget no well they did it immediately okay that's right so we sit down and they were like and keep in mind like my head's like we're like just we're just happy to be there at this point we're just like okay we got to just get through this night and you know it's going to be okay um as soon as we sit down they're like so we found y'all from um this couple they're huge fans of y'all's and no pressure but they would like to come and meet y'all and so of course we're like yeah absolutely like we're not going to be like you know we're not gonna be like no you know like of course when it was kind of i mean you know it wasn't like just us and them meeting in a hotel it was like us and them were going to their friend's mansion so it was already kind of like a mini house party yeah so of course i was like yeah that's fine you know like it was a very like brief conversation it wasn't even like brought up again so i guess he texts them and was like come and i think they live like an hour away like an hour away yeah so it was like i assume what must have happened is they must have been essentially waiting yeah on the green light on whether they could come or not and then they then they started driving yeah which is that was kind of funny it's it's weird it's still weird to me every time when somebody's like oh we have friends that really want to meet you is it you know like it seems i don't know it's you know to have fans or whatever you want to call it that still throws me off to this day oh for sure it will i i hope that it always throws me off i can go i hope so too yeah because it's a very very um it's an odd thing and i think i come probably come across like a little bit weird because i don't know how to take that you know i'm like okay you know and i don't know it's just a very weird i don't it's a weird thing right so we give them the green light yes bring your friend because honestly we don't care the more the merrier it's going to be a good time no matter what.
