We we are your hosts northern guy and southern girl in today's episode we're going to recap naughty new orleans we are we recently took a little trip down to new orleans for naughty new orleans so for our listeners that maybe haven't heard us talk about naughty new orleans or maybe, or maybe have no idea what that even is, how would you describe Naughty in New Orleans? A swinger convention. Yeah. It's very convention-like style. I don't know how, like imagine like a vanilla convention, and then add swingers and parties. Yeah.
That's exactly, naughty in new orleans is probably one of the largest at least land-based yeah swingers party in the u.s uh i think some of the cruise ships are probably a little bit bigger but naughty is the biggest hotel takeover that probably happens each year in the united states uh and like you said it's not even even your typical hotel takeover. It's much more of a convention feel. Yeah. And I know like on the cruises, they do have classes and things that you can go to. But I feel like Naughty has more. I don't they may not. I don't know if that's true, but that's how I feel.
It's also very much networking, which I know a lot of people that are just there to like have fun probably would never realize that. But for people that have a business that is associated with a lifestyle, it's kind of like everybody goes.
They may not go every single year, but people kind of filter in and out and so it's a good opportunity to meet people with other lifestyle businesses that you look up to or i i don't know for us we like it because there is a lot of people that we'd like to get to know that we've you know we've seen on youtube on you know on social media we know that they own things that we like to get to know and so that's fun for us no certainly yeah so um various club owners uh hotel takeover groups um really all come together to to throw this um convention as well as advocacy so like the big three um would be woodhall open and ncsf which are our three big companies or not companies they're non-profits I guess that we donate to throughout the year for our events so we choose one for most every big event some of the smaller ones we'll choose like local charities within that community but as far as our like big secrets and stuff like that we usually do one at a time you know we we donate to one each time yeah no definitely and they're all there all the representatives are there yeah so those are all the groups that are fighting for sexual freedom or non-monogamy you know helping legalize it in one way shape or form they're all there various club club owners and hotel takeover groups are there And then close to 3,000 people coming into New Orleans.
I'm not sure I haven't heard what the exact number was this year I think last year was somewhere around 2,600 2,700.
I know that we had 1,750 swag bags, so That's you know, yeah, two and two per that would be over 3,000 if there two people in each one of those rooms yeah so um yeah that's a lot of people um so kind of give us the lay of the land so how does each day um you know before we kind of get into our experience how does each day at naughty kind of go like what's the the general flow of things so it's kind of choose your own adventure um classes start i think 10 11 ish so you know not earlier yeah if not earlier um and then so it's really what you want to make of it so you can start by doing classes classes pretty much go from the time you wake up until into the evening um they transition at some point those rooms into the ballrooms they make them the ballrooms so i would imagine close they must go to four or five o'clock yeah yeah six even i think there were some later ones yeah but they're about an hour apart and so all day long you have the opportunity to choose different classes different speakers whatever floats your boat there's also They had speed dating and classes on how to squirt and you know all these other classes about uh conflict resolution in the lifestyle you know different uh classes for if you're new to lifestyle how to kind of some of that stuff um i mean literally everything you can think of they have um so that is one option uh like i know there's like some you know more social things like you said speed dating i know that uh there was a com there were some comedy shows there was a brunch uh drag drag show burlesque brunches um i'm trying to think what they were as bead making stations like so you could make your necklaces right so all of that is happening in the in the hotel at the hotel takeover and then about noontime or so the parties on bourbon street kick off correct and they're going simultaneously so if you're not into like bar hopping essentially you can choose to like sightsee you can go have lunch with your friends you could go join one of these classes there's even paid classes if you wanted to take, boudoir sessions.
There's a little bit for everything, a little bit for everyone, I mean. Right. And then around noon, the Bourbon Street parties kick off. And these are the different groups. So we hosted a Bourbon Street party, but iCandy hosted a couple. Splash hosted one. I know Tom's Trips hosted one. Cassidy. Cassidy.
There was a couple other podcasters that hosted parties and so what it is is they shut down the bar that they're doing the takeover in on bourbon street and you have to have a naughty new orleans lanyard to get into that bar and basically the bars turn into swinger parties yeah and so we hosted one on saturday and they actually blacked out the windows and stuff which which I didn't realize that they did that. I've never noticed when we go into the other bars that the windows were blacked out, but they actually do. And there's people at the front door that check, yeah, that check your lanyards.
So it is a private event.
If you've ever been to Bourbon Street, they're kind of all, you know, not close together, but, you but you know with a few doors down they kind of like line bourbon street almost like you've been in nashville you're kind of bar hopping and there's usually one to two going at a time so if you go to one and it's not really your vibe you can hop across the street to the next one and they they stack them throughout the day so it's like 12 to 3 3 to 5 so there it there's always something going on on bourbon street and then they have pool parties in the hotels as well which we've actually never been to a pool party i don't know why the funny thing is i've always heard they're not that great but then we kind of walked through a pool party at this trip and it was and it was an eye candy okay but secrets and eye candy's relationship with naughty as far as like them being there was that's a new thing as of this year and like anything eye candy and secrets does kind of is good so it makes sense that their parties were awesome so we were doing something else but we happened to walk through i don't know if it was secrets or eye candy at the time that was throwing the party but it was pretty pretty wild up there on the pool deck during that time and something new that naughty's been doing is there's always more than one hotel but they've really tried so nopsy is a second hotel and they've really tried to make that a party at that hotel too so it used to be everybody would just go to the astro crown which is where most everything is is being held you would just walk over that hotel and they've i think because it's gotten so big they almost need more space so now they have ballrooms at nopsy they have the pool party at nopsy they have classes um i know eye candy had a huge, like, merch booth set up at Nopsy.

party at nopsy they have classes um i know eye candy had a huge like merch booth set up at nopsy i i think they have like i see their vision for really including the second hotel and like making it a party in itself i don't know that it's there yet though it's getting there it's getting better each year so yeah the first years i think we only saw our third year in a row going the first year those extra overflow hotels were literally just where people went to sleep and there wasn't much going on there the last two years they've they started to get better at throwing parties there and then this year you know definitely with bringing in secrets and eye candy and all that a lot of what they did was at the nopsy hotel there's definitely more of that and i think what has happened is they've just outgrown the aster yeah so i think they literally sell out of rooms but then they're also you know selling out of day passes meaning they're meeting fire code restrictions on how many day passes they can sell for the aster and so the only way to get other people to be able to come and party is by hosting parties at other hotels outside of the aster and i think that's kind of why they've expanded to the Nopsy and some of the other hotels.
I think the Nopsy is the only one they actually are hosting other parties at right now. I think so. But yeah, there's more hotels that they house people. That people are sleeping at. Yeah. I did, you know, we got an opportunity to talk to some of the leadership there at Noddy in New Orleans. And it looks like they may be looking at other options to get everybody into one big hotel, but it's quite a thing. So it's really interesting to see.
So anyway, to back up to where we were, but okay, during the day, all these parties happen, and then basically you party all day, and then about dinner time, you know. Or you go to your classes. Some people don't want to party. Or a combination of the two, which honestly is probably the smartest. Yeah. So you're not completely trashed the whole weekend. Then after that, it's basically you go. It's dinner time. And kind of like most swinger stuff. At dinner time, you kind of get a little break. Go get some food. Go take a shower. And then get ready.
And then the club parties kick off in the club. I don't know if it's eight or nine. Yeah. I think if we didn't, because we weren't... We were never down there until like 10. Yeah, yeah, we weren't in a huge hurry to get down there, so... But I think they start around 8 or 9 o'clock at night. And then it's basically like your typical hotel takeover. They've taken over the ballrooms. In this case at night, they have two ballrooms in the main, in the Astor Hotel, and then one ballroom in the Nopsia Hotel, and then they have parties all night.
At the Astor, they tend to try to do like a top 40 room in one room, and then they kind of have more of an EDM kind of, you know, vibe in the other room. I will say that vibe seemed to kind of go back and forth between the rooms. There were times I walked to the EDM room, and it was kind of top 40-ish, and there were times we walked into the main ballroom. And especially when Life of Spice was there, it was kind of a more EDM-y feel. But I get the ideas. I think they're just kind of trying to tailor the ballrooms to play to all genres.
Well, like 3,000 swingers ranging from 20s to probably 70s. Yeah, or 80s. That's got to be a hard thing. We know just on our small scale that you're never going to make everyone happy with the music so i can't imagine that like that would be kind of a nightmare and then uh in addition to that they have playrooms and all that stuff so you know after you're done partying and if you you know meet some people on the dance floor they have an entire um floor of the hotel closed off off that has a ton of playrooms. And they have pizza at midnight. Did you know that? I did know that.
We never got any this year. Spoiler alert, we never made it to the playroom this year. We did not. Which is kind of crazy. I'm really disappointed, though, that we didn't. We should have done it just to do it. But we'll get into that. But I just wanted to give everybody kind of an idea.
So this is basically Naught new orleans is a convention slash hotel takeover on steroids slash really bourbon street takeover um in a lot of ways so it's it's really unique you're not you know there's nothing else like it that i know of in the world um and if you're if you're definitely if you're interested we're gonna we're gonna be there again next year yeah uh and we'll probably be doing a takeover on bourbon street again next year and doing some different classes and all the things. So definitely, if you want to take part in that, what I will tell you is tickets are already on sale.
So essentially, they put the tickets for next year as people are checking out of this year's event. This, the main Astor, which is where most of the partying is, like we just said, they sell out of not only rooms, but they sell out of day passes usually as well. Book that now if you want to get into that. Yeah, I need to book ours. I haven't done yet. You do. I can see you reaching for your phone.
Yeah, definitely book that early if you want to to get into the main hotel room because if you wait until even, you know, I think it's getting to a point where you might not be able to get that hotel six months out. You know, never mind a few months out. So the earlier you book, the better to make sure you secure that hotel. And we look forward to having you. We'd love to have you.

Let's talk about our experience this year. Okay. So the actual event was Wednesday through Sunday. Typically, we come in a day early and leave a day late. That's been our kind of go-to for this event.
we usually have something to set up we and if you've ever been to new orleans trying to get we drive because we do have a lot of stuff so and we we have a table and we host you know so driving trying to get through valet dan's big truck trying to get all of our stuff on a luggage car. It's really – I have to, like, prep myself, like, as we're pulling up. I'm like, okay, this is going to be stressful. You're going to be okay. It's not the end of the – like, because it's very – like, kind of reminds me of, like, trying to check into a hotel in New York City or something like that. Yeah.
The way the hotel is, it's on, like, a very – it's at the corner of Bourbon and Canal Street. It's very, very busy, and there's homeless people. You can't turn your back to your stuff. It's a high-paced environment. So we typically would like to come in a day early to try to beat the crowd, make it a little less stressful. We could have a good dinner. We could sleep in. We're not rushed.
So that was pretty much much our plan it's the way to go yeah 100 so um we left and we got there around six ish it was it's we're not super far from new orleans so it's it's not a bad drive for us um we checked into the hotel we didn't have to wait it was wonderful naughty um representatives are already there checking people in so as soon as you walk into the hotel you'll see the registration desk at this point the hotel is not closed for the private event so you can come and go without your passes and stuff i will say i was impressed that they already had the uh the naughty event check-in area up and running so that we were able to check in and get our passes and all that i didn't expect that doing that a day early i can't remember if we got we're able to i don't remember to be honest with you but um like yeah they already had it they already had like another conference room set up where you can get drinks and there was people in there making necklaces so like the meeting greet the chit-chatting was already happening which i appreciated and you can very much tell who is a swinger and who's not when you walk in the door i mean it's pretty obvious um but the security at this hotel and even the nopsy if you don't have that lanyard once the actual event starts you're not going in like one of our friends left one hers one night and the guy was like go back and get it right like he we were getting ready to walk out and go to dinner she's like oh i left my lanyard she's like oh is it okay we're just going to do it he's like no he's like we're not gonna let you back in if you come back very serious about it so um which is good for safety there must be some plan though if you do forget it and walk out you can buy another one yeah if you lose it i think it's like 100 bucks maybe 200 yeah yeah which is sucks don't we've never lost ours thank god i need to knock on one but so anyway we got checked in and none of our friends really were there yet they didn't get in until like a couple came later mainly in the next day so we weren't in a rush we unpacked got think got our room organized because it was going to be we knew it's naughty is very fast paced for us it may not be for you um it's all in how you do it but for us it is very fast paced very like you gotta you gotta be prepared would you say yeah why are you laughing well no some of it is on i mean because you know for us it's a lot of times we were either teaching or involved in classes during the day you know we were making content prior to going to the club each night but some of our friends they are not like just laying around like no they're they're partying harder than we are i think you spend all that money to go there you don't just want to lay around in your room yeah chilling so anyway we were getting ourselves our shit together basically so we could like you know be quick and then we went had dinner at the hard rock cafe um and then we just decided to walk around bourbon street so after the hard rock we walked around bourbon street we didn't really go in anywhere did we no i think it just had been a year since we'd been in naughty new orleans and so it was i actually think i was like let's go back to bed you're like no let's walk around which is usually pretty opposite usually like you're the one that's like no screw this let's go to bed but we don't spend a lot of time at night on bourbon street because the parties are indoors at the hotel during like during the night you're really not on bourbon street at all at night usually yeah so it was kind of fun i just wanted to check you know check everything out and then we having to run into like the secrets group which was kind of fun yeah as we're walking down the road uh a bunch of the people from secrets um jess and uh james and zeke and like kind of their whole crew like their entertainment group we basically ran into them so that was nice we got to chit chat for i mean again they were doing the same thing we were doing just kind of like the calm before the storm yeah it's they they didn't have much going on they're like let's go enjoy bourbon street before we they're also a lot younger than we are true so yeah yeah they're like come out and drink and we're like we're going to bed no uh so we we went back we attempted to go to bed but you know what happened to you?
Do you remember? Oh, yeah. So let's tell the full story. Go. You do it. Your shoulder was hurting, right? Was it your shoulder? Well, I turned 40 on Monday, so this was like four days before that, before my birthday.
And I was trying to make items for the swag bags for secrets in the car in the truck while we were driving so i'm like i've got like a couple hours in the car let's like be useful with my time i'm gonna make swag bag items somehow did that hurt your shoulder i don't fucking know it's 40 i'm 40 i don't know it's not like nothing in that swag that is heavy you weren't really you had it all in your lap you weren't like turning around a lot it's just like the way i was holding myself that's 40 i was like fuck so anyway i hurt my shoulder yeah and you were complaining about your shoulder all day somewhere somehow you got icy hot yes i bought it at the gas station like on the drive there yeah like we stopped and I didn't want to like, I was like, my shoulder's hurting.
I don't want to be in pain all week. So maybe if I can like pop some icy hot on it, I'll feel a little better. So I put some on while we were in the car on the way there. And then I put some on before bed. Right. So you bathe yourself in icy hot. Just my shoulder.
No, you d drench yourself in icy hot and then you get in bed with me and i think we were messing around right yeah you were like let's let's fuck let's fuck a little before and like but in my defense i was like trying to let it dry it was like with the roll-on kind so it wasn't on my hands or anything but i was like give it give me just a minute no you're about to be a dirty whore like let me use this pussy before everybody else this is 40 let me get in line here let me use this pussy before everybody else does that's my pussy and i'm like tell me no get your ass over here let my icy hot dry first so anyway we start messing around i don't know if we were fucking i don't know what we were i don't think we ever got to the fucking i do remember your shoulder was like in my face and at some point one of us got the icy hot on our hands and then you did you touched your eye or something it was like my eye is stinging and i'm like trying not to say anything you know because i'm like trying not but it was a very obvious that like all you could smell was So the icy hot becomes overwhelming and at some point i'm like i think i'm like i'm about to pass out from this fucking icy hot i've been inhaling it for the last 20 minutes and then you're like oh thank god because my eyeball is throbbing because i touched my eye and like we like basically quit in the middle of this sex session because i am about ready to pass out from icy hot and i've got it in my eye and you're crying yeah like i wasn't crying but like my eye was seeing and so like i get away from you and like catch my breath i had like literally walk away from you to like get like fresh air and then it was like 10 minutes later my head just started pounding and at first i thought you were being an asshole like because like you wanted to like have sex and you were like wanting and i'm like this old lady who's got her icy hot and then like you know there was icy hot in my eye and then i didn't want it on my you know like i didn't i didn't want on my pussy i didn't want on your dick so i'm like this is just a fucking night so i thought you were just like no kind of just being like a jerk because you weren't getting laid at first that's what i thought and i'm not a very good caregiver no you're not i'm terrible which but when you are in pain injured you expect like oh 100 like the princess treatment correct when somebody else is i'm like just you're going to be fine get the fuck up you're fine but like everybody gives me a hard time my mother is the like the best caretaker ever she just like knows all the right things so like it becomes very apparent that you have a migraine or something that you're not okay like pretty tough.
Like, you've been to wars and you do all these things. Like, for you to actually, like, be in pain, like, that doesn't happen often. So, at some point, I realized, oh, shit. Like, he's not okay. And I'm like, okay, what would my mom do? What would my mom do? Because I knew, like, I didn't want to fuck up this whole week, you know? I didn't want to just start out, like, shitty.
so I'm like okay what would my mom do what would my mom do because i knew like i didn't want to fuck up this whole week you know i didn't want to just start out like shitty so i'm like what can i get here some excedrin i like basically overdosed you on excedrin and advil i think i gave you four excedrin and four advil i'm like no one has died from advil come on you're gonna like take this and i don't know but i was miserable got you a hot rag i finally got you in the shower like let's just like turn the hot water on like stand under the water like we turned out all the lights yeah so migraines is something you know there's something i dealt with a little bit in the military and you know it's something they at one point i had like a special medication for it and stuff and you know anybody out there that gets migraines they probably know like when you get that like debilitating like i can't see light like type of migraine there's just nothing and you can't turn it off like there's no magic you just have to like suffer through it and it is it is you know something that's happened to me a few not not i've never had people that have it worse than me but um man was it it was terrible and it was i mean that went on for hours i think yeah it did and i felt like i couldn't go to bed so i feel like i'd be an asshole like i'm just like all right it's nice to be you good night but you were like almost in the fetal position like shaking i was bad yeah but i think i definitely think the shower it help.
I think the warm water helped a little bit, yeah. But like after that. I don't know if that just fine on the medication. But usually once you get to that point, like Advil and Tylenol are just not, this doesn't touch it. You know what I mean? You almost have to suffer through it. But anyway, that lasted for three or four hours. I don't know, two, three, four hours of me just being miserable. Eventually it subsided enough to where we could go to bed. Yeah, we both kind of like dozed off. So that was like our big first nine. We'll be right back.
just being miserable eventually it society enough to where we we could go to bed yeah we both kind of like dozed off so that was like our big first nine it was awesome it's good times welcome to naughty new orleans overdosed on i don't and i don't even know if it was the icy hot but it probably didn't help like snorting icy hot don't put icy hot on and then try to say the funny thing is the rest of the weekend you were terrified to use it i didn't use it i didn't use it again you probably never use icy hot again oh i'll be i'm 40 i gotta listen all right that's to be honest with you i actually had two icy hots because we i travel with like an like a biofreeze is that what it's called in like my travel bag because i i if i i'm a side sleeper anytime we travel i tend to sleep funny because it's not our house and i sleep weird on my shoulder but usually a little icy or a little i what's it called biofreeze and i'm good but that was all packed in the suitcases so i bought another one at the gas station.
So now I have two. Well, good. I'm glad you're prepared. If you never use them again, I just don't want to snort it again. Let's just not. Like maybe that's like an after six. Yeah, probably. All right. Alright, go check that out all right so that brings us to day one this is wednesday yep wednesday day one naughty new orleans all right the theme of the day is what was what was wednesday's theme oh for the party at night? Yeah, the overall.
It was Haunted Naughty. Haunted Naughty, that's right. And Naughty, it was the first year they put out day themes. I don't feel like a lot of people did that. I feel like nobody did it. Well, we didn't. Did you see anybody in themes when we walked around there? I don't even know what they were. Well, at least not enough people were participating where you could tell what the theme was. Yeah.
But the night portion was Naotted naughty oh sorry haunted naughty which was kind of weird for june i mean i actually ended up liking it though i did too i liked it too like there but when i was prepping for it i was like what the hell i didn't really get it and then what i think we were talking to uh bella and jace from the foreplay podcast or maybe it was life of spice they were saying well new orleans is haunted like yeah and there's like graveyards everywhere and then half of the the buildings are built on top of graves and there's just a bunch of dead people there and and so like there's there is they do ghost tours and stuff uh in the city so i guess in that sense it.
Yeah. I just didn't see it. The way they told about the themes was more of like Halloween meets. Not like ghosts. Not New Orleans ghosts. Yeah. Haunted. Yeah. Okay. Okay. So, Wednesday, we slept in, obviously, because you had had the migraine the night before. We didn't have to have our table set up until, like, that afternoon. I don't think we went in the bed until, like, 4 a.m. the night before. It was a long, painful little journey we went on there. Yeah. But we didn't have to have the table set up until that, like, later on that afternoon.
But we did get up and go ahead and go down and have our table. So the way that the Astor Crown works is the second floor is kind of like the convention space. There's like tables and booths. Some people sell stuff. Some people just pass out stuff. It's a little bit of everything. There's body painters. There's corset makers. There's like a lot of BDSM stuff. So, a little bit for everybody. Right, yeah. Get your whips, get your chains, get your t-shirt, and book your next cruise. Yeah. All on the second floor. Basically.
So, we got our table set up, which, you know, was super easy because it wasn't a lot. And then we went down and had lunch. Our were starting to arrive so j-dub was there and then farmer farmer and miss k yeah we're there they were there yeah which we haven't got to hang out with them they were at where were they at that we didn't get to hang out i feel like they come to a, no. I feel like we hadn't had a lot of time with them. They were at something recently, though. Splash. Splash. Yeah. And I think we had, like, flirted and chatted leading up to Splash in hopes that we could hang out.
And it just didn't work. No, yeah. Yeah, so I was excited that they were coming tonight. This was their first Naughty, so it was kind of fun to be a part of it j-dub this was their third we've all they came every year that we've been there so um it's kind of like our stomping grounds together yeah no i i love naughty in new orleans and you know naughty is like everything else the the more friends you have or group or acquaintances or you have kind of going into it, it just makes the event easier. You know, it kind of flow better. So we had lunch with them.
And attached to the Astro Crown, there's a hotel, a restaurant. I can't remember the name of it. But it is important to note that I had crab claws for lunch because it will come back later. They were very delicious. But everything in New Orleans is Cajun and spicy, and they weren't too bad, but just remember that. So after that, we walked Bourbon Street because, again, they had never been. And then we started hitting up the parties.
We went to the Accidental Swingers Bourbon Street party street party which was a lot of fun i can't remember the name of that yeah i was just trying to think of the name of the hotel or the bar too i can't think of it the drinkery the drinkery yeah it's like a two-story yeah and that's it's traditionally one of the first bourbon street naughty new orleans parties um as well yeah and it's really the first kind of big party where everybody kind of starts to meet up and mingle. And we literally just met up with all of our friends. So Big Sexy, Be Nasty, trying to think who else was there. Rhonda.
Rhonda Rousey. And Jay, not Mr. Rhonda, remember? Mr. Rhonda, yeah. No, that's, no. He didn't like that. They had some friends there that we had never met. They found some random hot couple, yeah. They always find hot couples. I know. They're good at, like, they're good recruiters. Uh-huh. That's what we should call them, the recruiter. Recruiters. I'm trying to think who else was there out of our friend group. Southern Bella had not got there yet. She didn't get there at all. No, but there was other podcasters there. Mm-hmm. Thank you. Mm-hmm. Um, accidental swingers. No, I've already said that. The guy with the. Yeah. Okay. What is their name? Anyway, doesn't matter. Keep going. Okay. So just a lot of, like a lot of people. We're going to leave people out.
We love y''all and it's not there there's a lot that went on so if we left anybody i'm sorry so we just got to hang out and party it was like a great way to kind of start a week yeah um people were starting to recognize you and come up and talk to you uh-huh like from the podcast from tiktok from instagram i really felt this year way much more of that than the year previously yeah for sure yeah um it's it's a very weird concept to like be a normal person and regular and that sounds so fucking conceited but it's very weird concept to like, just be like Lacey here, but then go to something like this and, and be asked for pictures and stuff like that.
Yeah. It's like you step into this alternative world where you're like, it's very weird. This, this semi celebrity kind of person. Seedless. Yeah. Where people want to take pictures with you and talk to you.
But I definitely felt definitely felt like this year um you were getting stopped constantly yeah really people didn't necessarily want to like talk they wanted to say hello like on the bliss cruise i feel like people wanted to have full-on conversations like you know and that's fine i don't mind that but sometimes there's like right if you're on your way to the playroom yeah or there's people like i feel like our friends were all constantly waiting because we've had a few you know we we read some of the comments that we get on reddit and instagram and there's like hate groups out there that like talk about it that all that's crazy anyway but some of the comments we've seen is like oh i met lacy and she kind of brushed me off and it's like what they fail to understand is if we're going to uh if we're about to go fuck like and we're on our way to go fuck like we're not gonna we'll say hi real quick but we're not gonna stop there and have a 30 minute conversation with you we got places to be we got people to do like there's priorities here no but i felt like at naughty people were just like hey yeah it was much more like, hey, can I grab a quick picture?
Yeah, I won't seem like they got it more. No, I totally get it. So, yeah, so you're right. The first Bourbon Street party, we started like taking pictures and chatting. And it was it was a lot of fun. I had a great not so much me, but definitely you. Yeah, yeah, there was a few people that wanted to walk by me to get to you or ask you to take me out of the way. I'm trying to talk to you. Or ask you to take the picture. Like push me out of the way. I'm trying to talk to Lacey. Like, oh, yeah. Or ask you to take the picture. That's okay. I relish my role. So we pretty much hung out there.
So it was like a three to five o'clock party. Yeah.
And I think we wrapped it up right around five o'clock and went back to the hotel like the cool thing our friends all get just we could stay out we could stay out to like six or seven but like we know that we have to be like we have to make tick tocks we need like ideally a little time to just like hang out in the room and not you know not have to smile and and talk to people we you know so we tend to go back a little bit earlier than like say our friends well no yeah we like to get a little downtown get some food in us maybe take a little power nap and then you gotta because you know god forbid you have to get up like two hours before you have to get make tiktoks so you can do your hair and your makeup and all that craziness.
We need a good three, four hour block of time between when we stop partying and when we show up to the next party. The night party. That's what we did. We went back rested. We actually ordered DoorDash every night this year for dinner, which was different.
Normally, we go and like a sit-down meal every night which is fun and great but i guess we've done this some like not so many times but we've aided pretty much all those restaurants well i think we've just kind of i feel like we're more willing now because we do this so much and that we're you know we're at an event every month and stuff like that we're more willing to pull out of the party for a little while you know i mean like we're i think even last year most of the times we went to eat it was like we'd get done partying on bourbon street and it was like we need to go grab some food real quick so we got to rush back to the hotel and hurry up and get ready for the night party and i think now it's like almost like we've learned like i'm okay at four o'clock, 5 o'clock, pulling out of the day parties, going back, taking a nap, ordering DoorDash, you know, me catching up on work on social media and stuff, posts and all that stuff.
Maybe do some posts from the day, eat our food, and then you start getting ready for the night.
Like, I just feel like we've kind of maybe got our schedule a little bit better maybe we're our time management is a little bit more and i think we not that we care less about the parties but it's like because we do this so often we're a little more willing to be like it's okay to step away for a minute yeah i mean we're not gonna we don't have that phone yeah so let's say it's like the fear of missing out which i still like especially when they're like oh my god this and this happened y'all missed it i'm like oh that sucks but i'm also like got a little nap and got some food on my stomach so i'm gonna make it to the night part so after that after we came back we aged we rested we got ready so we were little red riding hood and the big bad wolf for Naughty Haughty Bad Wolf for Naughty Haunted Naughty Haunted Naughty.
That's what we were. And yeah, I thought our outfits were really cute. You wore like a wolf hood, which was very hot. It was like 100 degrees in New Orleans this week. But we were indoors.
It wasn't too terribly bad no i think i still only walked around i walked around on it for like 20 minutes and took it off that's fine we got the tiktoks that's really in the pictures that's really all that matter and uh life of spice was djing this night he went on second though so 11 30 which kind of messes up the fucking schedule it does because he plays like 11 30 to 2 and the playrooms close at 2 right and we typically like our kind of our rule of thumb is we go to the playroom about like midnight so if he doesn't even come on to 11 30 right that kind of like but i will say it used to be when when uh dj life spice would play a set we were there from the beginning to the And every time but now it's kind of similar to us he does this so much that it's not he also gets it like we always tell him bob we're like we're going to fuck yeah he's like okay i got it like doing the hand motions of fucking right but the first couple times he had big sets at like events like this we were there from the beginning to the end yeah correct and if it was like something new like if this was a new venue or like something really big off his book at least we would 100 be there like the whole time so it's funny how things change so um about 30 minutes or so into his i started feeling like my stomach was upset which i had already throughout the day felt like indigestiony from food um but i had taken like tom's i'd taken i take prescription i took my medicine so like i felt like i was okay but it was kind of like i just felt uneasy so i was like i'm gonna go to the restroom so i went to the restroom and i this is like gross but i was like i'm just gonna throw up a little like it'll give me like a little relief uh-huh yeah i think we went to the bathroom together at the same time we did we did which we almost never do that so yeah kind of interesting so i went pee yeah and i came back out from peeing and i remember thinking like where the hell is lacy yeah because usually you are the you know you take forever to get ready with your makeup and hair, but were like a speed peer for a woman you go in there and you pee you're in you're out like yeah it doesn't take you that much time usually you're we were walking out of the bathroom at the same time yeah so when i didn't see you for a minute i'm like oh maybe somebody in there grabbed her and knew her and was talking to her like you know i mean no i was throwing throwing up major major throwing up and the stalls like go all the way to the ground so i'm like okay so and there's all these things running through my head one are people hearing me like did they are they gonna think i'm drunk because i wasn't i actually had not drank any alcohol that night um are they are they gonna think i'm i'm drunk um are they gonna think i myself throw up?
You know, are, and then I'm thinking Dan is probably freaking out, wondering where I'm at, you know. And I'm also trying to, like, not pee. Like, it's just, this is the most unsexy podcast. But, like, there was just a lot going on. Somehow, I get throw up all over me.
And I had lingerie on my fishnets everything and so then I'm like I'm like panicking because I know you're out there and then I'm like trying to get my outfit up I'm like at this point I'm like sweating I'm panicking but somehow I like in in my my lingerie has about 20 straps on it and one i can't even do myself so i like just come out and i swear this girl's like looking at me like like she you know like like i'd been in there doing something i like wash my hands really quick and like just i come around the corner and like we make lock eyes and i'm like i'm not okay did you know immediately that i wasn't okay when i saw you yeah yeah um i'm like i'm sick we need to go to the room yeah you're like i'm sick i've puked i need to and i'm like and you're like but it's okay i feel better i was immediately feeling better because i knew like i didn't have food poisoning i knew it was just like it was the spices in the food so i was like can you go get our stuff because i had like a basket so my my uh wolf mask and all of our stuff are we'd left it by the stage uh and you know lacy didn't want to walk all the way through the crowd back to the stage to get our stuff because she's going to get stopped a hundred times and she's got puke on her so she's like so we gave up the game plan is i'm going to go get the stuff you stay right here and kind of hide i'm going to go get the stuff come back we'll scoot up to the room real quick you know rinse off shower brush her teeth whatever change outfits and then you can drink some water settle your stomach maybe take you know some more medicine and then we'll come back down so i go and get the stuff and that took a minute because you know going through the crowd and all that stuff and i come back and you're like five people came up and talked to me all these people were like hey and they're like wanting to hug me and they're like oh it's so nice to meet you and i'm like i'm trying so hard to like smile i mean luckily i was feeling better but i still felt like and i'd wash my hands but i felt like my breath smelled like You know, it was just terrible.
Right, so you're trying not to talk to them too much, because you don't want them to notice that you've got puke on your shirt, and that your breath probably smells like puke. And I don't want to be that girl that's like. So you're trying to be standoffish without seeming standoffish.
Yes, and I didn't want to be like, oh, excuse me, I just puked my brains out in the bathroom, don't mind me, you know, so I was just like, yeah i was just like yeah uh-huh uh-huh yeah yeah so i'm thinking so you get there and i'm like oh my god like five people came and talked to me they're pregnant think i'm such a bitch because somebody you know i'm like oh my god those are gonna be that that's gonna be the one so you're listening in this podcast before you still go and post some mean comment about Lacey on Reddit. If I was in a little red writing. She ate crab legs. I don't know.
Food poisoning. No. Spicy food. I don't know what happened. It was spicy. It was spicy. It upset her stomach and she puked. So, yeah. We went back to the room. I showered. I actually had another set of red lingerie. So, I was able to change. Because at first I put on black and it just looks stupid. i changed and back into red brushed my teeth we probably had there 30 minutes and we went back down and um and danced and then i started feeling a little sickly again but you look like you're having like a blast i think you're a little tipsy i'm starting to get a, I think, at that point in time.
Yeah. So I'm bouncing around like chit-chatting with people, talking to people, meeting new friends. And like, I think you sat down. I sat down. And somebody even said, if Lacey's sitting down, there's something wrong. And I'm like, yeah. But I was like trying not to like rain on your parade. And like, just were. I'm, like, hey, whenever you get a minute, I'm ready to go again. You know? Like, you're just. And then we're in the elevator going up to the room. And you're just, like, living your best life. You're just chit-chatting, just having so much fun. And I'm, like, dying.
And I'm, like, oh, my God. So we get back to the room. Threw up everywhere again. Yeah. So that's basically. Went to bed. How the first night of Naughty in New Orleans went. We got through the first day. We didn't fuck anybody. We did not. We didn't even fuck each other. No orgies. Nope. So basically so far. But there is fucking, guys. There is fucking. So far in this Naughty in New Orleans adventure. It doesn't sound fun, but it was a good time. You have Icy Hot Overdose and a Cajun Spice Overdose. I don't know. Vomit and puke and headaches. That's how we got it. Y'all, we turned this around.
Dan has anal sex. Whoa. He'll be dropping spoiler alerts. Listen, I got to give them something to come back. Like, they're like, what are we listening to? This is not Swinger. This is like some geriatric. Right. So, without giving away too much, we do get our stuff together. Yeah. We do rally. And there's lots more fun things to come. We have a few firsts. One of those might be anal sex with somebody. That's not my wife. That's not a first. It's not a first. It's only like maybe a third, though. Second or third. Who was it? I wonder. I don't know. I don't know.

We're working on contracts. It's already locked in. Yeah. It's very overwhelming. The entire year is already gone. It's packed the icy hot, babe. Packed the icy hot. And we're going to have a lot more events than we had this year. A lot more club takeovers. You're going to see us in some new areas. We might be heading out west a little bit. Maybe. Might be heading up north a little bit.
You guys have been asking us to extend our bubble and get outside of just the kind of the Southeast region here. And so we're trying to do that in 2025. Yep. What year are we in? In 2025.
