Come with us and share our pineapple journey as we travel the globe.
Interview the experts, learn and grow together. Join the nation. Lacey, we get approached by couples all the time and they want to know, like, where can they learn the one-on-ones of non-monogamy? Yeah, I totally get it. You want to get in the lifestyle, but you just don't know where to start.
We recommend Sex by Sue's class on non-monogamy yeah i totally get it you want to get in the lifestyle but you just don't know where to start we recommend sex by sue's class on non-monogamy she really helps couples learn how to communicate and do the lifestyle the correct way yeah i think this lifestyle you know it's crucial not to to step on the landmines that a lot of us do yeah and you kind of learn the hard way you know so having a class can take online, you know, in the privacy of your own home and kind of learn the ins and outs, learn, you know, how to approach the lifestyle, how to communicate with your partner about it.
You know, I think it's something worth taking and we highly recommend it. Yeah. So click below in the show notes. You'll find this link for that course. Check it out, guys. Bye. Most people have unprotected oral sex, right? Be honest. Now think about your last STD test. Did your doctor tickle your throat with something that looked like a giant Q-tip? Probably not. Yet that's the only way to check for oral gonorrhea or chlamydia, which are often asymptomatic. You need a better doctor. You need shamelesscare.com. Use coupon code TSN at checkout.
So Lacey, people are asking, how do they get to go to a party or an event with us? They check out swingersociety.net. You create a profile, you sign up for an event, and you come hang out with us. Super easy.
That that's right if you want to party with us and the other faces and names that you know from social media and tiktok head on over to swingersociety.net can't wait to see you there hey there pineapple people and welcome to the swing nation podcast we are your hosts northern guy and southern girl and today's episode we've got a very special episode for you we're coming to you a lot well not live but we're coming to you from hedonism to resort in uh in jamaica yeah and we're sitting down with tatiana and she is the sales and marketing manager here at Hedonism. Welcome to the show, Tatiana.
Thank you. Thank you for having me. It's nice for you to take some time out of your busy day and come talk to us. Oh, nothing was going to stop me from coming here ever since I saw you guys on TikTok. Well, thank you.
Yeah, so we just wanted to talk to you a little bit about Hedonism and what uh you know because we get a lot of listeners that are maybe new to the lifestyle are curious about swinging and so they hear about all these places but it all seems you know scary and far away and they're not really sure what what it is so we wanted to talk to you a little bit about about hedonism and uh how everything works here and maybe some i don't know if you got funny stories and stuff like that but uh i'm sure there's a good behind the scenes she's laughing I think she has funny stories yeah uh but let's start with um a little bit about you so you're born and raised in Jamaica correct yes so how do how I guess how did you come to be here at hedonism well I um I was doing an integrated marketing communication program at university and when when I was about to graduate, I saw that Hedo was looking for a PR manager.
Now, obviously, fresh out of college, nobody's going to hire me to be a manager. But I thought, you know, maybe if I apply, they'll have like an assistant position or a coordinator or something.
Because PR was my favorite part of the the imc program and i was surprised when they called and interviewed me for the pr manager role and i was like i didn't get it because that was january and i didn't graduate until may yeah but then um the general manager at the time kevin levy he asked me to um stay in touch so when i was actually done i followed up with him and hr and said hey do you have anything available and they said actually yes we're looking for somebody in sales are you game so i told them absolutely i'd love to work for the brand because growing up in jamaica you hear about hedonism kind of spoken about in hushed where everybody kind of knows what happens there some people will admit to having been here before but not everyone it's a little taboo still but i didn't care i thought it was an amazing brand and um i came here and worked for two years then i left for five and i've been back since last january in this new this new role as sales and marketing manager, and I'm really happy here.
I love this place. Yeah, that's good. So you talked a little bit about how the local Jamaicans kind of know about Hedo and are maybe curious about that. So is there a stigma, or are they open-minded to it? Oh, they're very open-minded. The stigma, it's really not a stigma so much as it's a big joke. You know, like, oh, maybe I'll have a threesome. Let's go to Hedo. Yeah. Because this is just kind of the place that in the Jamaican populace's mind is where you go to live out your fantasies.
Especially if you don't want anybody in your business because you go to hedonism nobody's ever going to know that you've been to hedonism they can't call us and say hey did lacy check in who yeah no that's cool yeah when we were getting on the boat yesterday from rick's cafe the guys were like it's the naked people it's the naked people it's the naked come on naked people so they all know like even like when we got off in the you know at the airport it's kind of like a like a little not a joke but kind of a joke but it's like funny because you're not at home who cares you nobody knows you here so it's it's like a fun joke to be in on yeah because they were like oh you guys you know we did the club mom bay thing in the airport yeah and they're like that's their biggest supplier by the way i would imagine so yeah i would imagine and they're like you're going to hito and we're like yeah she's like oh that's gonna be fun yeah yeah they all know yeah same the driver was like laughing you know like they all just kind of yeah almost everyone you encounter at the airport if they haven't been here already they're planning to come here yeah yeah well and it's funny like when you're in the line at the airport you're like looking around like who's going to hito like you can find the pineapples like yeah yeah i love that that's just the symbol because it's such an innocuous thing and then you're like wait a second is that pineapple upside down okay yeah something so well and then you'll see like hats and cups and stuff like we were i don't know where we the last time we flew here we were at a connecting airport in the u.s and i saw a girl like getting on the plane to jamaica and she had a hito had our cup or something so it's like it's funny to kind of look out for the people that you may encounter here it's fun okay so if um somebody's out there and they're listening to us talking about this and you had to say like what is hedo how would you how would you explain that to somebody that doesn't know my favorite topic all right so hedonism is first of all um we are not a swinger resort.
We are lifestyle-friendly, clothing-optional, all-inclusive resort. Persons really should not be intimidated about coming here because your vacation is what you make it. We have a clothing-optional beach and pool. So if you just want to have a perfect vacation where the food is delicious the alcohol is top shelf the service is amazing and it's not like your average resort where people are minding their own business they're here with their families their blah if you travel to hedonism oh and by the way singles and couples are welcome and throuples yeah. Yeah.
We do have triple occupancy options here. Okay, good. But, you know, it's not the kind of place where you'll come and be lonely.
As a decent human being, you know, you're not a creepy kind of, you're handsy and you don't pay attention to the fact that no means no kind of a person, whether you're a girl or a you'll find a community here people are nice they're very open and i've always thought that nudity was just a great equalizer you take your clothes off you have nothing to flex except who you are yeah and hito people are the best people yeah that's that's true i think that you know it is good to note that you know this isn't i think it does have you know at least within the swinger circles everybody thinks this is a swinger resort you know i mean oh for sure it's definitely set up to be that if that's what you want it to be our major facilitators have you guys seen the glory hole no no there's a glory hole there's one built we missed this oh yes where is it it's in the playroom oh we've been in there a lot but we've oh is that the big box the big box thing yeah we're standing right beside it yesterday we didn't know we didn't know yeah it's um it's it's new i think they completed it's in march for hsb week and um just yeah we'll have to go look but you're right it's very much what you make of it we actually like saying on the prude side because it's calmer over there like you don't if you don't even go to the nude pool it would be just like a total chill calm vacation vacation now if you go over to that pool it's it's crazy town down there but if that's what you want for your vacation that's an option too so that's what that's a probably like an unspoken thing about Hedo is that it really is what you make yeah it could it could totally be like a just a naked you know clothing optional beach you know resort if you don't if you stay away from the nude pool and don't go into playrooms you wouldn't really know um it was you know there was swinging happening and we've met like a lot of people that are not considered they don't consider themselves swingers here.
They, like, they're on their honeymoon. They just wanted, like, a sexy environment. Oh, yeah. Or they just want to be nude. Or they just wanted to be topless, but then came across Hedo and like, fuck it, let's just get fully nude. So, I think that's something to definitely talk about. Oh, yeah. Like, I met a couple here once who like to be watched. so there are these theanas down by the plunge pool areas in front of the gym. You'll pass there and they're just set up all day. And sometimes they're reading. Sometimes they're having sex. Sometimes they're cooling off in the pool.
And they're like, oh, no. You know, we don't mess with other people or whatever.
But know it's so hot when and i'm just they're like wow the conversations i have at work yeah yeah i get it well that's actually a good question so you know being kind of an international resort what kind of people do people do you get i mean is it mostly the u.s is it people from all over different cultures oh yeah for sure um the u.s is our biggest market um especially from midwest to the eastern and then um from the southern states especially places that have um no ocean access a lot of snow so during our high season we'll get a lot of them um but after the u.s it's canada in our number two spot in terms of where our guests come from and um hmm oh between jamaica and the uk for the three and four spot right but i've met some people from as far as iran here now i don't know if they still live there but of iran Iranian descent holding the passport kind of a vibe and it just kind of blew my mind and then I realized I was being kind of judgmental like of course people who live in Iran would probably be interested in coming to a place like this you know I don't know what that person's doing when they're after they've checked in and it's also my business, nor is it the resort's business because we are facilitators.
You know, we make it friendly, non-judgmental, so you can come here and be who you want to be. And what I love about it is that even though we don't necessarily put any kind of restrictions, the community of persons who come here, they focus so much on communication.
that consent is kind of at the community of persons who come here they focus so much on communication that consent is kind of at the forefront of everything and it's amazing to watch because i'm a woman i go out to bars i get hit on every now and then and sometimes guys are so pushy and it's super annoying and here i've literally witnessed someone just walk up and say hey so i think you're so sexy um are you on the nude side are you on the prude side are you a swinger can you meet me in the playroom kind of a vibe and the the person responding was just kind of like okay yes and there's just no judgment but then i've also seen guys approach girls and get turned down and it's always very respectful okay and there's even sometimes a compliment hell it's happened to me and i mean i guess drinks enough everybody kind of blurs it's like no we don't fraternize you know just no i'm not interested oh you're so gorgeous and i'm like thank you yeah i was gonna, I would imagine that happens most days.
Probably for all the staff. Right? Like, we've actually talked about that because the dancers and stuff are so, like, they're so sexy. And so I'm sure that is, like, a hard thing to manage, making sure that everyone is on the up and up. From what I've heard from them, people are respectful for the most part. And I love that about this environment because outside of hedonism, you don't always encounter it, which is sad. Yeah. Yeah. We've talked about that a lot. And even in the U.S., the same kind of thing.
Like, you know, women and stuff when they're in their 20s and going to normal clubs and bars. Like, you know, guys grabbing their ass or, you know, slapping them on the butt, just walking by and things like that. I mean, I think every young female has probably experienced something like that in their life. Unfortunately. And then you come into this environment, which is a super sex-charged environment. But like you said, there's a much more focus on consent and communication and respect. And I think the community as a whole is just really good at navigating that.
Now, there's always some bad apples, and I'm sure you guys have had to deal with that. Sure. But for the most part, it seems like it goes pretty smoothly. Yeah. And, I mean, Hito's not afraid to get rid of the bad apples. Kick you right off. Yeah, there's definitely a lot of security here. So I guess that's probably something we should talk about because if people are traveling here, I'm sure they're, like, worried. They want to make sure they're safe. And there is a ton of security. They, like, were going to tackle Dan and I yesterday for having cameras. When we were filming, yeah.
They take it very seriously, which is good. We actually had this conversation at dinner. We're like, well, we're glad that they're doing their job. You know, if they weren't doing that and we were just, you know, walking around with cameras, you know, that would have probably been a bigger concern.
um I know that's a lot of people's concerns when they come to places like this like one not being filmed not being taking pictures are they safe if someone approaches them that they're not comfortable with and they need security's help all of that stuff is very important and I recently found out just how important um you know I always say that the whole thing about nudity being equalizer, you really never know who is who and what they're doing in their everyday lives. And some people who are, I guess, very important members of the community, they hold lots of responsibility.
Persons look to them for guidance, leadership, all that that stuff and they have contracts that hold something called a morality clause that i just wow yeah that exists it does because i'm i'm an attorney but i'm working here for now while i pause practice and there's nothing that would stop me from going back to practicing law just because I worked at a nude resort it's like so what it's a job what were you doing that was actually immoral but I understand that it's very strict particularly in the states so we tend to be very very hard when it comes to persons walking around with cameras or taking selfies that may capture people in the background because privacy is of the utmost importance here yeah no that definitely is good to know and yeah the community kind of has i think you know people like to you know be around their friends and take pictures and stuff like that but you definitely want to have control over that of who's taking the pictures and who you know who leaves with them and you don't want people just walking around you know taking pictures and filming and stuff like that So it's good to have control over that of who's taking the pictures and who, you know, who leaves with them.
And you don't want people just walking around, you know, taking pictures and filming and stuff like that. So it's good to have the security. Um, all right. So if, you know, we talked a little bit about the nude beaches and stuff like that, but what are, can you, can you go over some of the other amenities and things that are here at Hedonism that people might be interested in? Oh yes. First of all, I want to talk about the Kamasucho palace because it just came back. And Rebecca is amazing. She's in charge of the whole space setup and the classes and all the girls.
And I thought it was a bunch of nonsense because I'm saying, OK, so the Kama Sutra Palace, what are they going to do? Teach you sex positions positions i was i was very uninformed and i actually sat with her and she explained everything and i went interesting and then i spoke to a couple who had actually been to one of the sessions and i was mind blown the way how the guy was telling me you know i feel like i never really at her. But then I had no choice but to actually look into her eyes and she's so beautiful. And then we had this deeper connection.
And I was like, of course, I look at her because we're going to have sex. We know where everything goes. You know what we like. We've been doing it for years. We're married.
But then just to be in a space where, OK, sure, you'll have sex, but that's not the end game here let's focus on the connection it's like a mind body experience i remember just sitting there like why do i work here honestly i'm so jealous all the time yeah because if i was supposed to go on a vacation that had that on offer plus everything that we're doing at water sports plus the kind of food that we have here plus the kind of alcohol that is served here this is where i would go but i can't because now everyone who's older than me is like an aunt or an uncle and are they gonna judge me no but will i feel weird about it yes i'm sure so i can't but you know that's um that's my favorite new thing unfortunately they're not gonna be here on a permanent basis so you guys i don't know if you had been over there we haven't we've been trying to you should try i think they've got um their classes at either two to three or okay yeah Monday to Friday so it's your last chance today check it out check it out a friend of mine was here from Italy he checked out yesterday and he told me he went and got one of the tantric massages and he he was just like wow he couldn't actually find words to explain to me what it was like yeah and there's no inappropriate touching or anything like that no happy endings to be had but he just said you know I've had massages before I don't know.
to explain to me what it was like yeah and there's no inappropriate touching or anything like that no happy endings to be had but he just said you know i've had massages before obviously but that was something and i love it yeah i've had the massages over here at the spa and those are great girls have magic hands but then what are they doing at the common structure palace yeah yeah so they're not here permanently they're just here temporarily they are here temporarily for now I don't know. But then, what are they doing at the Kama Sutra Palace? Yeah. So they're not here permanently?
They're just here temporarily? They are here temporarily for now. They'll be gone by mid-July. So for anybody listening in that wants to have that, it is included. You do have the option of paying for a private session as a couple.
Or paying for, I think it's a four-handed massage or something like that but um the classes themselves they're included they're part of the all-inclusive package and I think persons should really really not leave here without trying it out yeah we have to go today that's good to know yeah um okay uh yeah so I don't know what else tell us some stories about stories what are's like I don't know anything I work in the office I have never that's not true ever seen my question is do you have a lot of people that are nervous because I know that like in the lifestyle like and we did a YouTube tour which I think will help a lot of people but when they've never seen it and they don't know what to expect i'm sure they're probably calling and being like what do we wear what do we do is that pretty common where people are just like yeah we have um we have an inbox info at hedonism.com that's pretty much just me and my boss responding we get some outlandish questions sometimes but for the most part people who are Thank you.
that's pretty much just me and my boss responding we get some outlandish questions sometimes but for the most part people who are new they just kind of want to know what to expect yeah it's like okay so what do we pack and I try to tell them I mean not much yeah but then if you think that you're never gonna go on the nude side I won't try to convince you otherwise even though I I know I'm right. Yeah. I see it all the time. People come in for the first time. They're kind of nervous. But Hedo, it's got this magic. It's going to work on you.
The atmosphere, the guests that are here, you know, they're going to rope you in and say, hey, why are you hanging out by yourself? There's a party going on at the nude pool. Let's go.
And everybody's just so open and friendly and welcoming that they they eventually say you know what i'm gonna try it yeah and you drop your clothes you don't die yeah and nobody goes oh my god there isn't a single thing that you could expose on your body at hedonism that would make anybody pause as far as i'm concerned at this point being here as a 30 year old i don't know what it's like to have any insecurities when i go out yeah because it's like it's your body it's there there's so many different variations and it's just gorgeous yeah so the nerves they stay with newbies for maybe the first day yeah we had a new couple they had never been she had never been topless or nude or anything and what did it take her like 24 hours if that about 24 hours yeah and then she um they stayed there the whole time they loved it they had a lot of fun so that was and it was really like nice as a group like we all kind of built them up like you can do and she was absolutely like gorgeous you know really you can do it this is awesome you got this so it was like fun to encourage and build her up together to kind of take that plunge and she did it she looked hot she was gorgeous we here at the swing nation podcast are proud to partner with promessant listen guys we've all been there you're having a hot night with a hot chick maybe a few hot chicks but you need to kind of delay the time before you pull that trigger that's where promessant comes in they have this awesome product called the delay spray you literally spray it on and it delays the time that you orgasm so you can make sure that your partner is well taken care of and as swingers we're all about making sure our partners are well taken care of and promescent delay spray is the perfect product for that click the link in the show notes below to get yours today anxiety can cause ed like the kind you get while watching your partner with someone else.

Make sure you join the Swing Nation stc group and send us a message okay so if you were going to give some advice to maybe a new couple that's getting ready to come here what would what would you would your advice to them be okay um have the talk before you come here. Yeah. Hedo is the kind of place that it's going to lower your inhibitions because of the nonjudgmental nature of being here. And sometimes it will even take you by surprise because maybe you've thought about what you'd like to try outside of what your day-to-day sexual activity is. And it just kind of is in the back of your mind.
But when you're in an environment where you absolutely can actually bring that to reality, then it's something you need to talk about with your partner. What's allowed, what's not allowed. It needs to be as candid as possible because I, denying that part of yourself could be a recipe for disaster. I've seen at the front desk couples who check in and you would think they're separate because I don't know if they had a fight on the plane or whatever, but people tell you sometimes that their relationship was in jeopardy.
And then they came to Hedo and there's this kind of honesty that just kind of comes out of both of them when it's like okay this is what was missing this is what we need let's try again and then they're leaving all cuddled up and then on the flip side there've been I think two situations that I've heard of where they come in all lovey-dovey nothing will will break us, didn't have the talk, nothing like that. Then they're leaving and I can't believe I never expected her to do this. Oh, my God, he did that. And it's just kind of like, so you didn't say that you were going to do that?
Because typically, you know, guests will let each other know yeah so um just have the communication starts at home pretty much have that conversation before you come here and continue to talk while you're here if something is making you uncomfortable in your relationship it's your relationship your vacation's gonna end you're gonna go home together what's your home life gonna be like based on the new exciting things that you both did and enjoyed because you talked about it up front or she didn't tell me she was into that can't believe she did it yeah yeah no that's definitely we we uh we preach that pretty hard communication and you know establishing those rules and boundaries you know at least initially and then try to stick to them and if you want to change them have a a sober conversation about what the thing you want to try is next um and not get kind of caught up in the moment and take things too far because i think whenever we've seen issues with lifestyle couples it's always been like i think they had an idea what they're going to do going in and then they had a few drinks and they got a little wild and crazy and then they crossed boundaries and you know it's it's a hard it's a lot of you know there's a lot of things going on in this kind of environment and like you said having a strong relationship and having good communication is definitely key to to being successful in that kind of in this kind of environment for sure yeah and I'm on the outside never swung in my life but this weird community are full of some of the best people I've ever met yeah and that's the message I think we want to get out you know I think there's a stigma that they like swingers are all all just crazy sex addicts and, you know, they're all sex drugs and rock and roll or whatever.
No. The hedonism community of persons who will tell you to your face that I am a swinger, this is my husband, this is my wife, but I also have a girlfriend or I also have a boyfriend or, you know, we like to do this and that and whatever. They are also the same kind of people who will raise money for our foundation. They'll make sure that they buy a brick or that they buy a painting because they believe in the work that the Hedonism 2 Foundation is doing in the community. We're bringing Wi-Fi to schools and where you have no idea how generous these people are.
It blows mind when you talk about school supplies oh my god they come down here with whatever i don't know toys and freaky looking costumes that would you know um make your average woman clutch her pearls because what is that how could you do something like that that is you keep that behind closed doors but they're out and proud of it and then in their luggage they also have a backpack full of crayons and coloring books and notebooks and pencil sharpeners and everything and they come by the front desk and they go oh we brought this do you know a kid who would need this and it's like yeah we definitely know a kid who would need this thank you so much hedonism guess they are some of the most generous people there was a bartender here eldon oh my goodness i think he hurt his finger or something hedon to freaky swinger people they they kind of just rallied somebody found out about it and put um put it out on facebook And then they raised funds to help them get medical treatment.
And I'm like, what? That's awesome.
This is what people need to know about the people who come here no you're right so what if they're doing things that consenting adults should be allowed to do anyway it's nobody's business unless you're involved with it right but it's not the sum total of who they are they're amazing yeah no and that's that's 100% the message that we're about because you know if you don't know that people that are involved in the community it's easy to make assumptions and absolutely you know kind of put this stigma on it and kind of try to distance yourself from that uh even though secretly i think everybody has those fantasies somewhere in the back of their brain uh you know i know i i don't think i've met a person yet that doesn't you know and google uh search results would definitely prove that oh yeah there's a lot more people that are uh into this stuff than maybe actually show up to hito but um yeah i think that's good to really highlight the community and what they're doing and it's good to see you know we've never had a conversation with you about this but one of the things that just you know was in your mind is these people are amazing you know look at the things they're doing they're giving school supplies to children and that's we've seen that universally yeah places we've gone and traveled and we know several swinger groups that you know they raise toys for children every christmas or you know just all kinds of different charity work which is i think it's important it is a testament to the type of community that that is involved in this type of lifestyle so thanks for noting that that's key okay so the only other kind of questions what uh so as the the marketing manager what's what's uh what direction is Hedo going in you guys are growing you're expanding you're building new things you're you're bringing in new people what what is what does the future of Hedo look like if we were to come back in two or three years hmm two or three years well we're definitely still going to be consistently upgrading the property that's for sure um it sucks when there's construction going on and people you know feel some type of way about it but we kind of have to progress they were literally just painting when i like every day when you walk around they're working like and it's it doesn't bother anything but they're con there's a constant upkeep around here they're always painting something or raking something or cleaning something it you can definitely note it for sure six new premium rooms since last year it's um it's an ongoing process and um i know that the owner and executive team, they're committed to improving the product.
So I just have to do what I can, as much as I can, to ensure that people come and experience this place. Because we already have so many evangelists, right? There are people walking around with our mermaids tattooed on them because of how much they love this place, right? So a part of our strategy is to make sure that people know that you can come to hedonism and have an excellent vacation.
That is wonderful value for money because when you go out and you buy the kind of food that we're serving here that's included in your package, many hundreds and hundreds of dollars is that going to yeah you know and then when you feel like oh I think I'm gonna maybe take a weekend and go somewhere you pay for your hotel room and then what else do you get yeah yeah so coming to us in an all-inclusive setting I personally think because i love food it is oh my god do i love food so for anybody who's like me i have this theory that you will never fully appreciate hedonism unless you stay here for 10 days because you need to try every single theme night on the buffet and while you're enjoying the food of the buffet you also need to see what's happening on stage every single seven every single one of the seven nights but then we have three restaurants for dinner you need to experience those as well yeah and there's only so much space so as to not feel short-changed 10 days of foodie perfection yeah right and then for anyone who wants to, guess dip their toes in i would recommend coming in on a wednesday because it's fetish night yeah to just kind of jump off the deep end like oh so you want to know about hito but you've only got like three days start your start your vacation on a wednesday yeah for sure i don't know.
I just, I love this place. Yeah. So as much as I possibly can, with all the resources that I'm given, I'm going to be yelling it from the mountaintops on all the podcasts. We'll be at Naughty New Orleans this July. We'll be there too. We'll be there. So we'll be seeing you. We're going to have a booth there. We're a premium sponsor. We'll have a booth as well.
we'll hang out yeah it's fun it's a good time then of course we're trying to do so many other things where where direct marketing is concerned because you know we can put it out there on social media as much as we want and it helps it absolutely helps but what i found really converts someone to making up their mind is talking to a representative and not necessarily a representative of hedonism but even persons like youtube you're bringing a group here and they're like oh you know i'm kind of on the fence you guys are the ones who are telling them you know this is why you should definitely come you're bringing them here so all of our partners who take groups here all the travel agents who specialize in hito or just lifestyle travel on a whole and have hito on their roster we owe them a big thank you they are a major part of our marketing efforts we appreciate them so much And we look forward to just kind of continuing making the place better and better and bringing in some new blood because everybody needs to experience this.
Agreed. It is interesting. So we've been on social media and TikTok and all these places for like two years now. And it definitely seems like just in that short amount of time, there's been quite a bit of growth in the amount of people that are open and interested in this community and in this lifestyle. Have you seen that here at Hedo? Does it seem like you're getting more interest or you're getting maybe younger people starting to show up? And like you said, the new blood. Oh, yes. We recently started a series called Tatiana Tells It on TikTok. Oh, I love it.
And I think there have been about four people who came up to me and said, Oh my God, I saw your Tik TOK. Yeah. This is one of the reasons why I want to come here. I've never actually been here before. And I'm like, what? That's wonderful. That's awesome. We saw you. You do a really good job on Tik TOK. I was impressed with me. I try. Thank you.
But, um, the digital media manager who's got the hard job of actually filming me there's so many bloopers if he ever actually releases a blooper reel oh yeah yikes yeah we laugh he's like if i ever get mad at you i'm gonna make a blooper reel yeah all the times you're being like i'm like no i need to do it again i don't like it or that's also me in the background yeah but um yeah the the younger crowd i don't know when it happened but there seems to be this shift and i think hmm consensual non-monogamy that's that's a term okay yes it is into that so i never really understood what that meant until someone explains to me i said oh i see that at work every day yeah yeah that's that's hito yeah i definitely think this younger generation is kind of like breaking down all these like boundaries and labels but then they also are adding labels so it's just weird but i think it just much more acceptable, like, in your 20s now to just be free and open and date whoever you want to date, regardless of their gender, all those things.
And I think it's spilling over into the lifestyle. It really is. You know, that experimentation, I love it because what's the point? You're keeping it all bottled up and for what? So that when you decide, okay, I'm going to get married. You have all these unfulfilled desires. Sometimes you can't even bring yourself to articulate it. And then you just don't bother talking about it. It's a hidden part of you. Later on down the line, what happens?
Is the legacy of human connection what we've seen from the boomers where at 40 something you have a midlife crisis and go cheat on your spouse and buy a sports car no no you don't let that part of yourself interfere with like your life and how you love and who you love you know you just kind of put it out there and i love that for us no and it's true you know and being able to explore your sexual fantasies with a partner somebody you trust somebody that you can talk to about it all and kind of go through that experience together with somebody that you care about to me that's like the perfect you know the perfect way of doing it you know i mean like you're saying you're not going beside your partner's back and doing it and cheating and stuff like that you're having an open honest communication with your partner and saying I think you're really hot if we did you know had sex with three couples tonight yeah that would be fun that was last night but anyway those are the kind of things I think I think it's important and that's why we're you know why we're talking about this and yeah it seems like there's more and more people that are interested in every day.
That's exciting to see. We're definitely seeing it here. All right. Is there anything else that you'd like to share with our listeners before we wrap up? Is there anything you want to tell all the swingers out there? Wait. They don't have to be swingers because it's lifestyle friendly.
Alternative, lifestyle friendly maybe they're a lot of our listeners are just curious i think i don't even think they're swingers i just think they stumbled across our podcast and like who's this couple talking about having orgies and like traveling to jamaica who are these guys yeah uh what would you tell them or is there anything else you'd like to tell them i would hedonism is at this point i believe the only place in the world where if you are 420 friendly, you can smoke a joint while naked on the beach without fear of the authorities at any point.
So I think you owe it to yourself to try that at least once. We have a three-night minimum stay. If you're only here for three nights, make one of those days, a day when you commit to not having any tan lines, and you just slather yourself in sunscreen and go lay down naked and smoke a joint. It's my ultimate vacation starter plan. Yeah.
There needs to be another place in the world or i maybe i just gotta shoot my shot see if security will keep my secret and not telling one we'll keep because i i'm telling you that's what i want to do that's what i want to do yeah but um the best rates for the year are in the summer so mid-august to mid-september you know we've got um exciting things going on all the time but whenever you have a little vacation space like over what's coming up next for you guys fourth of july or something yeah you know well memorial day but that's oh oh memorial day is packed i'm sure there are no rooms so um over the fourth of July, Labor Day is packed here.
Oh, I'm sure. There are no rooms. So over the 4th of July, Labor Day comes after that. Yeah, Labor Day. Yeah, you know, we've got some room. If you want to just kind of dip your toes in the water and you know you have that time off from work anyways, what were you going to do? The same thing that you do every single weekend?
Or you could potentially grab your friends and come by's it's a wonderful place to be yeah a wonderful place to be so give us a try you know maybe you hate it but i doubt it i really do yeah i doubt it people walk away from here loving this place and they come back again and again and again to the point where we don't say welcome to hedonism we We say welcome home. That's kind of like a running thing here. Like who has been here the longest. And they love to tell you. We've been here 44 times. This is my 17th trip. Yeah. They love to tell you. They're proud of that. They are.
Which I would be too. Okay. Well, we appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule. I see you've got phones blowing up and emails.
