The new message format

any posts over a yr old should be deleted

It seems that if you are a lifetime member your views on any "improvements" mean nothing. This site has gone from I like it to abysmal. Email was great and for some reason they think that everyone has a camera and wants to just IM somebody.

yeaokay - within the past 24 hours I had a little red circle appear indicating a new message. I'd been chatting with someone off & on so figured it was a reply to an earlier message. Nope - no new message showing at the top when I sort by most recent. But there was one way down near the bottom from sometime in 2018 - not sure if I got it previously and its status somehow changed or if it's been floating around, lost in SLS space all this time. So you might find them if you scroll through all your message history.

If that doesn't find them, then maybe submitting a support ticket will get you some help. A girl can always dream! ;-)

No, that seems quite odd. The messages stack up in the order received, not depending on whether you have read them. So maybe you just have to scroll down a ways to find some you never opened?

my page says I have 10 messages continually yet none are visible. If it bumps to 13 or so messages I can read the 'extra' 3 but never find the 10 that my page says are there. Anyone else have this problem?

BTW, what the did to the Events section is even worse. They purposefully got rid of the calendar! What a stupid, bone-headed move. They made it MORE difficult to use, not better.

Yes, the new message format is NOT an improvement, it is a dis-improvement.

Why is it that clubs and parties get the old format but the rest of us get the terrible message format? Someone sends me one message that shows up as 3 or 4 because it's broken up into that many messages. Not liking the changes. Don't get me started on the new Hot Date/Events "calendar" . . . like where is the calendar?

The hot dates function now seems impossible to navigate...certainly not user friendly in any way.

Why change what was already working to something that makes no sense? Whats's the point ?

Omg I cant stand this site anymore..... between removing mail and the stupid message procedure to chat with people is TERRIBLE . Now they have changed looking at hot dates and events.. as a lifetime member I wish I could get my money back and open an account on a different site

This messaging is a waste of time. I send a reply and it puts it in the message I was replying to. You have to back out then come back and then it is the right place. Hopefully admin is also using the messaging so they can see how bad it works. On the other hand maybe I just don't know how to use it.

You have a decent alternative in Florida. Actually, you have at least two good choices. They have real email, real and relevant booty calls/hot dates, excellent ability to post private and public parties, and one of those sites has an owner who answers emails, and addresses issues that are brought up by the membership.

They also have the ability to “like” pictures, attach pictures from your hard drive, toggle on/off you “who viewed me” with out losing your history of views.

And, most importantly, they robust networks for your area. Lots of active players in your area is what it’s all about.

Sucks, sucks, sucks, and not in a good way.

What other choices do we have for sites that work ????

We wholeheartedly agree, this site is starting to suck now that they got rid of email. I mean who in their logical senses does that? Communicate over that unstable shitty messenger?

I use to HIGHLY recommend this site to others, now I won’t until they reintroduce the basic email service.

And we paid for it..think of how many people paid $150 or $300 if we paid for a year then had to pay again for lifetime. How much do you think they make from us all total ??????????

I hate it too!!!!!!!! plus it looses emails/im's. It doesn't alert you to new messages if you have one open. It's impossible to use. A friend sent me a invitation to a private parts that included the scheduled activities, rules, etc. and it came in as 13 separate messages. it's a pain in the ass to use and should be scrapped. If you want to set up video chat do separately and let the emails stand alone. Fire your communications manager and get one that can actually communicate!
