sls Wayne do friends show up on there also? I had a wall post from a 150 miles away. Not sure about just local people showing up on the wall

You can go in and turn it off. Go to privacy then it is down in bottom right. I turned mine off because wall posts we not what I was looking for and kept popping up.

Trying thinking of the Wall as Schrödinger's cat. If you don't look at it, is it Turned On or Off? If you don't look at it, are there any posts?

<p>Those are public posts and they are not on your wall. They are just posts from people in your area. You do not need to delete them or hide them or block them. You can go to "Tools" and "Manage Homepage" to completely turn the wall off. </p>

How do you delete them from showing up?

Use BLOCK command on the profile.

For some unexplained reason SLS disable the HIDE command after the Beta testing

I normally don't even look at my wall. I did today and have a bunch of unknown people on it. How do you delete them from showing up?

You can edit and delete your own posts.

Yet another reason to stay off the wall. Especially with no deletion or editing function apparently.

The one small (very small) benefit of the Wall is it becomes an extension of your profile. All your posts show up under the tab Profile Feed, and can be read when someone looks at your profile. You can add stuff that might be censored in your profile, such as referring to Groups. It shows up immediately too. If you do it via a web browser it is only clutter ups on your Friends Wall (if you use that new function.) If you add to your Wall via the App you clutter up everyone's Wall within 50 miles of your location.

The SLS vision for the wall never materialized because the vision was wrong. SLS chose to ignore the hundreds of good user recommendations on this forum and instead, built whatever they dreamed up in their silos. I don't recall seeing a single post asking for a wall. If you look at the "wall", you realize it fill no need at all. This is not Facebook. No swinger is going to post photos of their dogs or grandchildren on it. The wall is now another piece of clutter where mostly single males post availability in hope of getting takers.

In the end, it goes down as another miscalculation that is contributing to the poor popularity of this site. Primary reason? THEY DON'T LISTEN!

You can only write on my wall from entering my profile only those who enter my profile then can read what is posted on my wall by me or others.

Sls Wayne - So you're admitting to the entirety of the forum that you have a full team of developers AND the website is still this big of a shit show?

And you just boldface lied to us. The Wall is a new feature. So why even try to implement when the rest of the site isn't working like it's supposed to? Just answer the question, don't beat around the bush or censor this. When can the paying members of this site actually get the service they have paid for?

It just got WORSE on My Wall.

Blocked a poster and post/poster still on My Wall.

STRANGE THAT ABOVE MENTIONS OPTIONS OF BOTH "IM YOU" AND "MAIL YOU".

So how does one do "MAIL YOU"?

The hide command on My Wall must have been beta tested BUT it does not work. So we have to BLOCK the profile to make those posts go away. Sometimes we can not BLOCK as profile is not viewable to couples. So we REPORT and weeks later those posts are still there.

We have made contact with some on My Wall which is why we go there. BUT why doesn't SLS remove the post that we report? Why does HIDE not work after it was beta tested? Why do we see posts from people who do not want couples?

Seriously this has been getting worse rather than better? Its almost non functional about 30% of the time. Your not helping the business model thats for sure. We want to supportive but holy shit somebody needs to start managing the platform and get some stuff fixed. Look basic software service means you go back to a back up that worked, put the new features on a separate server and ask folks to beta it till you get it worked out. Then merge the platforms when its ready. Your literally experimenting at the expense of members and its getting old.

<p>The site is not doing that at all. This website has multiple staff members and multiple full-time developers. We all have tasks and jobs to perform. We are all doing our jobs to be the best of our abilities. Some developers are working on bug fixes, some on new features and some on the lag/error issues. </p>

Sls Wayne - Why is the site focusing on adding new features that don't work when the rest of the site that's been around for years isn't working either? It's not rocket science to think you fix what's broken first before trying to add new stuff. But then again, that would actually make sense huh?

"Wall is turned off on the home page and when I logged in this morning its showing at the top of the page. Went to the forums to read a bit and hit Home, now the homepage is showing no Wall. There's something goofy going on with the code."

<p>I do see the issue now.</p>

<p>The wall tab in the tabs section at the top is being turned off correctly. The larger wall box only shows if you have new wall posts to view. I see that that the larger box is still showing when there is a new post, even when the wall tab is off. Once you refresh the page, the post is no longer "new" and nothing will show.</p>
