Showing profiles from a Google search

There is an option under 'tools' that lets you turn off external access. Look under 'tools / privacy / featured profiles'.

I think that’s too much to ask. Given that we have a “private” gallery option, we should assume that everything else we post or upload will visible to the whole interweb. As a matter of fact, we should assume that our private stuff as well can be had for a song

if we type swinglifestyle robann11 in google and click images 13 or so individual pictures of members in our are are displayed including our profile pic. if you click on the link it shows a listng if users in the area just like logging into the site does. if you click on view profile, it takes you to the sls loggin page.

To everyone concerned about google searches. Unless you have an account with SLS, the google search will not show any pictures. It will show your profile name, where you've listed as being from, your ages, and your tag line. The landing page clearly asks you to create a "free account" and would lead you to conclude that "free" members could interact with others on the site. Of course, that's the way it used to be, and I'm not particularly concerned.

The important thing is that access pictures and interact with other SLS members, you must create an account. Now, only paid accounts can see private pictures and personal galleries or otherwise interact with members.

When I did a search for “swingers in the Morristown area” I did get a link to an SLS page. I saw your profile but I wasn’t able to access it.

Do you remember any other possible search terms you used, or the exact path you followed to your private pics?

In an incognito Google search,I found profiles and photos.

Also, unable to upload photos to my public gallery. Keep getting an error. I am sure I am not alone.

Does this site ever work well?

We haven't been able to google our sls profile either. Curious what you're searching for that causes it to pop up.

We use our sls username and swing and nothing comes up.

What search terms did you use. I just did a search for “motofun SLS” and didn’t get any relevant hits.

I just did a google search and found not only our profile but our private pictures which include our face pics !! There is a reason we put those in our PRIVATE folder. We didn't want the whole world to see them. Why have a private gallery on SLS if anyone can see it on Google ??

Well it may be in the terms of use but it certainly would be nice if they were to revisit and do away with it.

This has been the case for several years. Several of the swinger sites used to do this and have pulled away from it. SLS continues to do this as part of the terms of use that was agreed to when you setup an account.

Someone had the same subject up earlier and I know I commented on the post now it is gone. Security is not very good if you can do a Google search for swingers in your area and it takes you to the homepage and will show profiles of people in your area to non-members.
