The search feature is very basic and does not provide a way to "drill down" on specifics.
(Ex. - wife likes latino men. No way to search this like SDC does)
(Ex. - someone's wife is looking for BBC with no way to search for that)
The search really does need work.
Having been on the site for 10 years now, the search function has not changed nor received any improvements. Those hoping to search for specifics like Transgender ninja midgets (if you are one, hit us up) for example, are basically SOL.
The search feature here has LONG been requested to be updated but, of course has not changed in a very long time. Couples are into many different things and the inability to search by demographic information like keywords, ethnicity, kinks etc is simply poor design.
Searching my names n note would be nice
It's a little bit roundabout, but you can add notes to profiles and then, so long as your search parameters are set up to include the broader categories, including sexual preference, search only for those profiles with notes. You would need to do some management so your search didn't bring up larger and larger numbers, but until SLS sets things up for more efficiency, it'll do.
We also wish there was a way to "tag for later" so that if I'm going on the site and the wife is busy, we could tag couples/singles of interest for later review together. There doesn't seem to be a way to do that now.
I also think the overall search functionality is very, very limited compared to other similar sites. There is a mountain of data available in the SLS database but we can't seem to filter on much of it. Like others, I hate doing a search and finding that only 5 percent of them are interested in people of our age/orientation/preferences/etc.
We need more granularity in the search functions on SLS.
We've always wanted a way to filter out people in which we don't meet their age requirement. I remember when I lived stateside I did a search and had around 20 results come up. Almost all of them specified people younger then we are.
It might be nice to have the ability to search by keywords in a profile.

I have the same problem. The basic search by username does not work. I always have to have the other person search for me to find me. I am using the website version not the app.

The "Custom Search" is relatively limited compared to the data that are likely available and of interest. For example,
"Has Pics" might be filtered on recency of pic submission
"Has Certs" might be filtered on number or recency of certs
and so on.
Are there mechanisms to add other filters to the custom search?
