Photos loading sideways

@for fun. Wayne’s solution is for you to send him the photos to rotate correctly. Yes. Send him the photos. They just can’t provide a tool on the site associated with the photo feature for you to orient them on your own. You have to send them to him. Just saying. He’s the only one that can do it. That’s why we have privacy features. I don’t have this problem on another site. I don’t even have to send my photos to someone else. I just upload them, and if necessary, click on the directional arrow (if I have to) and add them to my designated album. That engineering is too difficult for this site.

But. We’re aware of the problem and we are working on it. Just so you know, our site works 98% of the time (except Fridays, Saturday and most holidays. Especially when people actually want to get together. In those times we’re overwhelmed and 2% of the time, the site doesn’t work unless you want to go on a cruise. My sarcasm.

54 days later and photos are still being rotated....... why is it on the member to edit and make numerous attempts to have a picture upload properly... the photo I upload is normal... it appears only on this site sideways....

fix the problem....

its not the users fault.... it should be pretty simple to just upload a pic and NOT have it rotated.....

its been rehashed many times but never fixed....

Well let me mention a glitch I had on the fix below, to maybe save Wayne so messages LOL. So I went and grabbed the pic not loading correctly and made a small change hit save. Went back and loaded it. Still upside down. AFter a few minutes of cussing I realized my computer preset it to save to my pictures folder instead of the original folder located elsewhere. So when I reloaded it was an unchanged file LOL. I uploaded the changed file and per the below it works fine, Lesson learned, it might be you LOL

@wayne. And why do we have to email YOU photos to rotate? With all this alleged upgrading and maintenance, why can’t the member rotate their photo’s themselves?

UPDATE didn't realize this had already been raised in another forum. The following worked for me: copy the pic from phone to PC, do a minor edit or crop, save, and it will upload to SLS properly.

I've been on the site for many years but setting up a new profile and CAN'T get pics to upload properly. Every pic is rotated 90 degrees. Anyone else having this issue?
