Is there a tutorial for the new chat? I'm looking for things like can I keep more than one room open at a time, is there still a live camera feed, can I erase public comments as the screen fills up? Things like that. I'm using Android if that helps.

Biggest feature issue I have with the new chat is that there does not appear to be a way to sort people in the room by distance from current location. That feature made it actually useful to meet people nearby that you might not have otherwise gotten to know, and to meet people who liked having a place to chat before committing to meet (and I know theoretically the message feature does this, but it does not work well for real time chat and often has delays with things showing up). Otherwise it is nice to have a chat room function that works across platforms and it seems to at least function.
Tryed using chat function on Android as well as windows pc and all we get is a spinning circle that never gos away. Does not show any users in the lobby or anything just a white template screen. Kinda disappointed actually.

Logging out and back in, clearing the cache, resetting your device are the first steps in resolving an unknown issue. I tell people these things every day and I expect them to take the steps and respond back as to whether it solved the problem or not. If not, we dig deeper and try other things. </span></p>

<p>Submit a ticket please so that we can give you one-on-one help. I am not seeing any of these issues. I can use the room and chat and I am able to switch rooms. </p>
need to dump the whole thing and start over, cannot change rooms, says maintenance started, then restarts sesion
<p>The old room required Adobe Flash. It no longer will work. The new chatroom should work on almost all devices and is currently working and has been working since January 1st. It has been down for brief periods of time during updates.</p>

what a suprise, the chat app is broke again on the ipads. was nice the one month it actually worked. no suprise though, they cant ever seem to fix this correctly and its been brok on the ipad for years
Now working for us either. We get the page but none of it is populated. Maybe because we use a Mac ??
well looks like it is down again, no members list, just get the spinning blue circle, cannot type anything, sent support ticket, they say it is working fine

<p>Our new chatroom was better than the old one almost on day 1. If you have specific issues, please submit a support ticket.</p>
Many sites had to change their chat programs when FlashPlayer was no longer supported. We are on a couple of other sites and after a few days of working out the kinks in beta the new chat programs were demonstrably better than the previous iterations. Typical for SLS, new beta sucks and is still being developed. For goodness sake, just hire some programmer/developer and tell them to fix it. Sheesh.
If you click on "Who's On" in the left pane, it will show you who is online in order of closest to furthest.
Can online members be sorted by distance?
new beta chat does not work. any word when it will be back online?
the new chat is worthless, just keep getting disconnected, and takes way too long to change rooms
