[LOCKED]More site issues???

To be honest, I dont think Wayne or any of the other site administrators really gives a shit about the quality of service that we pay for on this site! The constant and on-going issues this site has on a weekly basis says it all.. they just want to keep feeding us a bunch of BS about this and that, blah blah blah... we are completely fed up with it! We all are tired of the excuses Wayne... either fix/update your servers and systems or shut the damn site down for good, and stop taking money from people and not utilizing that money to make this site more enjoyable to be on rather than making us frustrated all the time with the same shit every damn week!! Get it together guys and fix this shit!! Damn!! Rant over... ??

I honestly can't believe we pay to belong to this absolute POS site. You can't go a week without issues, probably because the Compaq 386 it sits on hasn't had the latest Windows 95 patches yet.

I am at a total loss for words when it comes to this place. I truly am. The craziest part is all they need to do is buy some ready made CMS package and spend time porting the data then add in new features. All you really need is expanded search, more profile literals, and some technology that was created after Google was born. It is a complete joke.

Don't worry you can't submit a support ticket either due to the 404 error AKA page doesn't exist.......

Funny how the advertising graphics always work. That part of the site is never down, just the part we pay for doesn’t work.

Again, this morning, everyones photos in profiles and otherwise, NOT viewable....

Same shit, different day.

As cameras have gotten larger #'s of megapixels, the size of picture files has also grown accordingly. Some people may not think to take that into consideration when uploading pictures.

I was able to load some new photos on Weds. Photos needed to be re-sized and about 100KB.

Still waiting on being able to upload pictures again.

Yep, when we log on it has gotten to the point that we expect there to be something wrong. There are multiple problems, not just one and it is nearly every day it seems. Somebody does not have a clue what they are doing.

We find ourselves checking it less and less, and sure enough, every time we do, it has problems, accompanied by the standard denial that the problems don't exist.

Once again SLS is at its best. Paying for a site that has more issues than Carter has pills. This site always had issues, but it surely has gone downhill over the last few months. Lucky for us we pay on a 3 month cycle, and we will not renew, we spent enough wasted money on this site.

Problems upon problems with this site! Now as we get on the site today, profile pics on others profiles are not loading so you have no clue who you're looking at.. typical bs with this site!?????

Amen to that Cape! Have to wonder if there are actual IT people and developers working for SLS. It seems more plausable that the site is a money making hobby operated out of someones basement. Site has gotten progressively worse over the years.

We have been members for many years and I can’t remember when this site worked right consistently. The only consistent thing about this site is that it always has problems. How is it that of all the websites I visit that this is the only one with constant problems?

Whoever they use to create, maintain or whatever needs to be relieved of their duties and find a company that actually knows what they’re doing. There isn’t a day that goes by without problems. They have our money so they simply don’t care.

We couldnt access the site yesterday afternoon. This morning all pics are just black. The "new normal" for this site! As that famous philosopher and hof football coach Chuck Noll once said about a player, "he has problems and they are many." So it goes for SLS!

Woohoo wake up to a new message. Unfortunately it could be from big foot, I mean Darryl, for all I know. Pics are sorta important. All the people looking for work and y’all can’t find competent IT help?

We used to log in to SLS, excited to see who sent us messages, see who looked at our profile, discover new people to meet, and see what events we could attend.

Now we just hope that the site comes up, that it loads pictures, and that it doesn’t bounce us out to an error page.

Well again this morning the site is fucked up. Pics not loading and when I posted a response in a forum it wouldn't load 2x. When I went to the form topic there it was posted twice. Where I worked in the world of city govt. if our internet for the city was this fucked up I guarantee you the IT people would have been out on the street looking for a new job. If what you have done to "improve" the site isn't working go back to what it was when it did and stop using us all as a BETA site.

We are with you Rich. If we were not lifetime members we would not pay either. I do not know what their issue is but if they do not get it all fixed soon they will not have to worry about it because there will not be any members except lifetime members. It seems that nearly every part of the website is or has been screwed up for months. And it used to be such a good site. We have met many people thru SLS over the years. Good luck.
