Member Interest Levels

Fairbanks, AK, Us

I don't need or use either feature (on other sites) If a man isn't at least assertive enough to send an email showing interest, I'm not going to be too interested either. I don't respond to winks.

As far as who's viewed me? That might be interesting until it goes the other way. I like to perv in private. LOL

MLFun, we agree. Seeing what groups a couple belongs to would be a great addition. It gives an insight into what they enjoy. S&J

I like the stars concept. I'll echo others suggestion that it would be GREAT if you could hide those you're not interested in from the who's on view. While I'm on that subject, it would be nice if the who's on view had the same filter options as the search view, with the option of saving your preferences. For example, we like to look for non-smokers, paid, with pics.

I feel it could be nice to see the "groups" people belong to somewhere in their profile. First it would give a sense of what they enjoy and secondly it would make the viewer aware of groups their friends have joined which they may like to join too. It's like the certifications... aside from saying this couple or person is real to me they are helpful to see who are my friends' friends and frequently I like to hook up with them. It's helpful and fun. Michelle

We agree with Joessexy redhead post. We would luv to know who is viewing us. Tranparency is fair play.

If you go to "Tools" and "View Profile", it will show you how many times your profile has been viewed in the last week.

As far as telling you who has viewed your profile, we feel that people should be able to view profiles with a degree of privacy, so we don't list that information.

Hello. I'm new to replying to these things, but this is one that I'm interested in. We are lifetime members, not that it means that much, but I like the wink feature. Also, some of the other sites will tell you who and how many people view and like your profile. Is this in the works here? We'd love to know..

Excellent idea but it must be followed through by the programming team to allow full searches/filters based on the star rating and there must be a way to de-select a profile without having to 'hide' them as it is now suggested!

A star rating is great for marking profiles for follow-up maybe but there should be another way to 'wink' at the recipient profiles.

Overall, a much better system than having 3529 profiles listed as 'Friends'! - not that we do, of course!

EXCELLENT Idea FantasyKiss and the same to NoJerseyCpl.

The link is great but couples should be able to link up with the subscribers that approve of there profiles and share the same interest

Personally sending whimsical "winks" doesn't mean anything as some have stated. We do however feel that the "interest level" indicator is very helpful for tracking potential contacts quickly. Also it's not as misleading as the action of sending a "wink". Maybe a couple has a full agenda now but is really interested. They can passivelly mark certain couples for future exploration. Additionally, If everyone could see who is interested in who and HOW interested, it would save a lot of wasted time. Last but not least we feel that, free members should not be part of the equation for developing features...they get a lot of functionality for nothing as is. If they are serious and want a voice, they should opt into a membership. That's our 2 cents....:-)

Our only objection to knowing whether a person is interested in us, i.e. the "wink" feature is - HAS IT EVER WORKED FOR ANYONE? lmao

When I sign on another site with winks, I can guarantee we have 10-12 every week. It started out I would write to everyone who winked. But after I didn't get a reply, except rarely, I stopped. Those winks aren't "interest" the way you mean it - its a way to say "hey, nice profile" or "hey, nice pictures" without having to lift their lazy hands and type an email!

Sorry folks, you are on a site that gives you a lot of tools - the first, and most important is your profile and what it says. If, when looking at someone's profile, you can't tell what they're looking for, then write and ask (its a good ice-breaker). And if you ARE what they're looking for, yet they either don't reply, or turn you down, remember that "attraction" is subjective and, particularly in the case of couples, BOTH members of a couple have to be interested. The search for compatible people has never been easy, but to add Bells and Whistles to the site isn't going to do it either. Good things come to those who are willing to put some effort into it. S

We believe it would help in filtering who is interested and who is not. We should be able to see if someone thinks our profile is interesting to them. It would be good if all could see what type of persons we or they are looking for..

We like this new feature Please add a feature that shows who likes us also.Sort of a WINK.Saves wasted typing.

That would be a great thing...would help see who we're really interested in, not those we've already decided we aren't compatible with.

It is nice that we can exclude the "no interestes" when doing a search. But we'd REALLY like to see this option on the "who's on" search.

Our swing club has been using the stars as a code to know who we have sent invites to join, who has joined, and who has attended parties. We don't use the one that hides profiles at all. I know that was not what this feature was originally intended for, but it sure makes it easy to keep track of things for our club.
Thanks Techie!

PLEASE put the rating back on the results page. Then please implement hiding the profiles we have marked "no interest hide member".

Tallmadge, OH, Us

I like it. Will you hurry up & implement it !!

We would REALLY like the ability to be able to view only those we have given stars to. Occasionally we view profiles just to pick our next "victim", but we don't necessarily have time to write, or the inclination at that very moment. But we would like to possibly go back and write them later.

Hillsboro, OR, Us

We like the new feature. Now we can quickly pass over profiles that did not give us that spark when we previously looked. Thank you.

We disagree with "Tech" and "S and J" about the usefulness of "winks". We do use that feature on the "other inferior" website, and find it very useful. If someone gives us a wink... it changes how we view their profile. At least we know that they are somewhat interested in us, and we read their profile more carefully to determine if we will send them a reply... or if we are busy... maybe we just send them a wink back.

In many cases, this has led to nice exchanges, and eventual get togethers. Two strong votes for adding "winks" to SLS. :)

lol at Lurkers. I was thinking the same thing, and so was J. Cock your ear and you can hear the arrogant Brit saying "and is there some reason you CAN NOT write an email?" lol S

"Many want to see whos interested in them. Please do a wink to be posted to see who likes us also."

We have perfected a revolutionary way of showing people we're interested in them. We send them an email and actually tell them we're interested and invite them to have a look at our profile.

I know it's a shocking approach, but the site has been kind enough to provide us with the tools, and what the hell, it seems to work for us.

Try it, you just might find that it works for you too!

Other sites can do it,SLS can also.

if you can see them in your online listing, you can block them from there, and then you won't see them online anymore... problem solved...
