Just happened again
"HTTP Error 400. The request URL is invalid."

On another note:
When I tried to post my last response I got an error 404 screen.
My response got posted any way. This happened yesterday also, but not before I made four more attempts to post . All showed up and I had to delete 3 of them.

Yes Wayne that is the one.
Yes I know that hitting it is on me and my lack of proper aim.That is why I have not bitched about it it was on me when it happened. Thankfully on my PC i get the warning so I can correct my error.

It is still a PITA though.

If I were using the app often my big fingers would have me clicking that spot more often than not. With no chance to correct many would be getting requests from some anonymous person that they had never talked to. They would be irritated and rightly so.

Personally I would like it better if the feature could just be turned off or at least the button placed at the bottom of ones profile, where accidental activation would almost disappear.

Same here, perhaps much of the irritation would be alleviated if the same warning panel appeared on the app version.

It is easy to click on the friend request when you click on the picture. I have done it by mistake a few times.

In actually communicating with people we have found many did not even realize they sent the request. It seems that on the app or whatever they are using that is not a computer it is easy to accidentally hit the button to send a request. As I understand it the same is true for picture access. I cannot confirm this as we use my desktop to access this site 99.99% of the time. The other .01% is when we really want to check for a message and are having issues getting on with the computer.

If one doesnt know how to communicate initially before asking for a "friends request".. Nope deny!

We have plenty "vanilla and Linkedin friends!

Anybody have any guesses what they plan on doing with this “feature”?

So far it’s there to annoy us when random people ask to be friends, and they haven’t even messaged us yet.
