Implants

I agree that the investment in new implants will be worth it. Beyond what has already been said, isn’t the hard breast uncomfortable for her when/if she lays on her stomach and when she gives someone a hug?

It's worth it. Spend the money.

It's called capsular contracture, the scar tissue around the implant has hardened. She should probably see a surgeon at some point. I had cancer and saw a few surgeons before my surgery and I was told capsular contracture can happen at anytime. The recommendation is to have them replaced every 10-20 years depending on the type of implant.

Hard to put a price on feeling good about yourself IMO

"...she is pretty much embarrassed to let them be seen much less let them be a part of a good time."

Besides the obvious health implications of having a failing implant, does your wife really want to be embarrassed about her body for the rest of her life? I mean, don't go hungry to pay for the surgery, but if you have the cash, it seems like a good investment in quality of life for her.

Agree with above... but its what she wants and feels good with,.. weight all options!

Do it for her. You only live once and making her feel good about herself is of utmost importance.

Breast implants typically need to be replaced every 10 to 15 years anyway, so if she would feel better about herself she should have them done

My first though is check with a doctor and make sure the implant is failing and not the breast.
As for uneven breasts. I had a vanilla girlfriend with one breast a full cup smaller than the other. I didn't care.
She would get mad at me for playing with the bigger one more than the smaller one, but I am a guy after all.

One hard and one perfect...

Ok. I am the husband here. I know this is the Women Talk forum. However, I just need some info and maybe some help.

My wife had implants put in around 20 years ago. They looked fantastic!!! Over the years the right side started to become firm. Then the firmness got harder and started to lift. We were somewhat active in the lifestyle and always had lots of fun. Now, because of the obvious difference between her two breast she is pretty much embarrassed to let them be seen much less let them be a part of a good time. She has discussed having them revised. But, her thought is that at 66 years old and looking at a cost of $15,000...is it worth.

My thoughts are if she gets them replaced she will feel much better about herself and will feel great about showing them off a bit. Even if we never swing again I still want my wife to feel great about herself and know that she looks fantastic (which I tell her all of the time).

Any input is appreciated. Thank you.
