I'm looking out for us, that's why I want to know who's coming in our home to have sex with us. Maybe that's TMI for some, but we have as much or more to lose having someone know where we live, our names online from the tax assessor, how much we paid for our house etc. Giving this information to a stranger who isn't willing to at least tell me who they are doesn't make sense to me.
It's too much for me. I've been stalked and have zero interest in making it easy for prospective future stalkers, so you're not getting my last name on short acquaintance. You're also not getting my phone number or my official email address.
Do yourself an enormous favor and do not seek validation from strangers, particularly in this lifestyle on these forums, about what makes you feel safe.
First and last name? If that what was asked for, I'd be a little weirded out by that. Don't believe we have ever had someone ask us our last names. And we always introduce ourselves with our real first names.
If you're hosting someone, don't you want to know who is coming into your home? Recently had someone bail out on getting together because we wanted to know their real name. Red flags went up, he cancelled our get together. Is that asking "too much"? Thoughts, please!
