This is an excellent point but we use a lengthy a densely worded profile as a primary filter for a reason. We have found that the couples who can take the time to read and understand our profile and respond appropriately tend to be far more likely to be a match for us when we meet. It's not foolproof obviously but we have tuned our profile over the years and it's been getting us the results we've been looking for.

We are in a world of instant messaging and that means people may just simply express themselves in other ways. Proper use of English syntax is a turn on for us… for sure. Sapio connections would be a great place to start. Stimulate the mind, stimulate what folllows… maybe that’s why I’m into role playing so much. A good blend of mind and creative.

Bourboncroissant, yes, there are many other couples that enjoy banter and lean more sapio when looking for playmates. What we have found though is many don't always write that into their profiles or even write much of a profile. We had an amazing time with a fellow traveler with a very short profile and who really couldn't text their way out of a paper bag. However, in person they were one of the wittiest people we have met. You really need to beat the bushes and be patient when it comes to this endeavor and bear in mind that many people don't do well with written communication. I have narrowed down the “search” features and read profiles start to finish before even looking at photos.
