To start things off, I (Mr) took a while to resign to the fact that Mrs will always have an easier time finding a play partner. We also have small kids, so splitting time away and not impacting home/family life has proven a challenge at times. So far we've been able to make it work, but as our kids get older / more active / more aware we're growing concerned about how our lifestyle is going to look a few years from now.
This thread is NOT intended to be a place for those who are NOT hallpass couples to cast their own virtues or opinions. We're really wanting to start a thread for COUPLES who actually HAVE them or WANT THEM to discuss their journeys getting there, the ups and downs, logistics of making it work. It took us a while to get there and it was no easy journey. We still deal occasionally with issues of frequency, time away (including multiple days away), keeping score/fairness and more. For those who do have mutual hallpasses in the couple dynamic, or for those who wish they did and want to talk it out with some of us who do, let's hear your thoughts.
