Interesting. Do we not have to add spaces to post "dot com" links anymore, or is Wayne immune to having to do that?
Illegals
Once was enough. It was the "too stupid" quote that I took issue with. Nobody said it.
Wayne, Wayne, Wayne. Where did one person in that YouTube clip say that black people are too stupid to get a license? Did anyone in that video describe themselves as a liberal Democrat? Last time I checked New York State is not implementing voter ID laws. Do you really think you would get the same response to the same question posed in East Harlem as you would in rural Georgia.
You make yourself look foolish.
It was pretty much implied by those young liberals…listen again…Wayne I’m sure EA and TBR will straighten you out lol
Using an Ami Horowitz Fox News video to try to prove your point about what liberals say. You can do better than that.
I didn't hear anyone say black people were "too stupid", did you?
BTW I'm not arguing against voter ID. I support that.

Also read some of the comments on that video.

@Wayne, “Dems have been saying that black people are too stupid to get a license though.
Actually, lots of liberals have been saying that”
Can you source that please?
Funny that only conservatives have heard liberals say that. Maybe you can name a few.

"Dems have been saying that black people are too stupid to get a license though."
I'll take "Things That Have Never Happened" for $200 please, Alex.
"Dems have been saying that black people are too stupid to get a license though."
No. Democrats are saying that republicans are closing DMV offices, making it harder for old people and poor people to get IDs.
Statistics is the science of gathering, classifying, arranging, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting numerical data to make inferences about the population from the sample drawn. There are basically two categories: Analytical (aka Inferential statistics) and Descriptive (aka Enumerative statistics).
Not all statistics are the same. It’s useful to discern between the various types when doing an analysis. Remember:
A statistic is a value gathered from the sample.
A parameter is a value found in the population.
I could go on but I won't...NOT A GUESS
Dems have been saying that black people are too stupid to get a license though.
@DB
I have no idea what Alinsky's rule number 5 is. If it states that a person will continue doubling down on claims after they have been shown to be wrong, then ok, that works. You keep trying to state that you understand math and you keep failing. The math is the math. It doesn't care if you are in WI, MN, FL, Mars, on the moon, or wherever.
So let's look at the flow of data. Perhaps this will educate you.
In WI, if you want to apply for a driver's license, you can choose a REAL ID or a regular license. Most people are getting REAL ID licenses. A requirement to get a REAL ID is to give up your SS number. When your parents applied for your social security card, there is a line that says RACE. They chose your race. So now we know the WI DMV has your race. They got it from the lookup into the SS database as part of the verification process. Now, in WI, when you go to get a voter registration card, they ask for your WI license. That is looked up and they now get your race, the one that originated from the SS card. So now the agency in charge of voting knows your race when they send out the voting information, to either get you to vote by mail or in person. If you vote by mail, they assign YOUR ballot a unique ID. If it is returned, they mark that the ID has voted. DING DING DING. That is how the local agency knows the race of the voter. That information is then shared upstream to the state and then to the feds. This structure or hierarchy is known as a grandparent -> parent -> child relationship. One grandparent (US government) can have multiple 'parents' (50 states) that have multiple kids (counties.)
Again, I don't think you know the math or the english.
"Most statistics are guesses. Informed guesses, but guesses nonetheless."
And how are they verified?""
You do not know the definition of statistics and are using probability. Statistics is the methodology for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, organizing and presenting of the data. Probability is how likely something is going to occur. There is a range that is given based on the level of confidence that it will fall within that range. Using a casino and blackjack as an example (single deck) the dealer shows an ace and I have two aces, what is the probability, on a new shuffle, first hand, that the next card will be an ace? It will be 1 in 48. That is a probability and one with a confidence interval (CI) of 100%. Now how would you verify that? Math. There are 4 aces in a deck, three are pulled. You have pulled 4 cards out of a deck of 52 cars. Therefore it is 1 in 48. Now go to the craps table, what is the chance I roll a 7? It is 1/6. Each roll is independent of the previous roll. What are the odds that I roll 7 two times in a row? Three times in a row? Two times in a row would be (1/6)^2 and three times would be (1/6)^3. Can it happen? Of course. Is it probable? Doubtful. Because it happens, this is where casinos apply the law of large numbers and they know that if the dice are thrown 1 million times, they will get a distribution curve that is really close to the 1/6th.
TBR knows stats and probabilities a lot more than I do. It has been a long time since I sat in a stats class. I used to do more when I worked with marketing campaigns. I tend to not get involved in that anymore.
"Most statistics are guesses. Informed guesses, but guesses nonetheless."
And how are they verified?
"checked Wisconsin. It is NOT on their voter registration form. Their voter registration form requires a WI license or ID and those don't ask for it, but . . . if you have a DL, it is going Real ID. That is where I think they are getting the race data. It just moves across from there."
And where does the Election Judge log that information when the person votes.
". Admitting that you don't understand the math would be more honorable than continuing down the path of digging deeper and deeper holes which continues to prove the premise: Math is the nemesis of conservatives."
As could be easily predicted. Alinsky's rule number 5
@DB
"How are guesses about how many of which race voted, and how they voted verified?"
I guess I should add reading as a nemesis of conservatives.
I never mentioned HOW a person voted. I mentioned that they voted. Wanna explain how that got contorted?
Figuring out that a person voted is simple.
"How are guesses about how many of which race voted, and how they voted verified?"
LOL
Statistics, like science, really don't care whether you "believe in" them or not...
@DB
First, the same 'statistics' that casinos use others use. The law of large numbers doesn't know if you are in a casino or not. Admitting that you don't understand the math would be more honorable than continuing down the path of digging deeper and deeper holes which continues to prove the premise: Math is the nemesis of conservatives.
In regards to the age, first off it was 1985, not 1984. Secondly, I am not lying. Talk to Wayne. It is not my fault that the site doesn't update the age each year. I do not wake up on my birthday and go, "Holy shit, I need to go update my age on a site because they wrote shitty code."
Don’t gamble with DB.
"MATH. The nemesis of all conservatives."
This from someone who once claimed to have started gambling in Vegas casinos in 1984, and his profile says he is 51 years old.
The MATH says you started gambling at 13 years old.
You are either lying about when you started gambling, or lying about your age.
Which is it?
"I find it comical that you work in a casino (iirc) which is all about stats that you don't believe others. Hell, if anyone should understand the law of large numbers, it should be you."
Casino statistics are mathematically verifiable and verified.
How are guesses about how many of which race voted, and how they voted verified?
@Wayne
"It looks like science has decided that there is no such thing as race. That it is a social construct. I'm going to trust the science. Are you?"
There is an awesome book by Bill Bryson called 'The Body.' I think it is about 5 years old. That book explains the difference between a black person and a white person from a 'cutting us open' perspective. In that book, he explains that the difference between a black person and a white person is a very very very very thin piece of skin that is pigmented differently.
So do I think there is a scientific definition of race? No. Do I think humans have created one? Yes. Humans have created tons of constructs that make no sense: gods, spirits, ghosts, etc. Humans are full of fallacies.
Wane is still having trouble with the concept of social constructs.
