I'll give 10-1 odds his answer will be long enough to generate a scroll bar on the right side.

LOL

They said there would be no math here...

A Venusian day is longer than a Venusian year. (I know, right?)

A Venusian year is about 225 Earth days, but a Venusian day is about 243 Earth days.

How old is Wayne?

Hint: Bitches don't care, they just know dog years.

"So women living in Yemen are being stupid for wanting equality to men. The social construct in Yemen is that men have many more rights than women."

If I have to explain this difference to you, you are less intelligent than I thought you were.

And I didn't have a high opinion of your intelligence before this conversation...

"w ww.youtube.co m/shorts/ILL7vAzKoRc <---- A place where the sun doesn't set. It's a social construct based on where you live."

Do you get all of your information from youtube videos?

Your video gave you incomplete information. In northern Norway, the sun does not set between May and July, and never rises between November and January.

Try not to use youtube as an authoritative source. It is not very good in that application...

I don't think you realize the meaning of the term "social construct."

"I'm about 56 based on how many times the Earth has gone around the Sun...

I'm just shy of 30 years old based on the revolutions of Mars. Maybe I will start using that age since it is just as true as 56."

Now you are just being stupid. You don't live on Mars, you live on Earth.

Not everything is a social construct. But many more than one would think are. A lot of what we "know" we don't really "know."

We don't really know why a lot of medicine works. We don't completely understand how gravity works, or climate change, or evolution.

In education, grades are more a social construct than an objective measure of a student's ability to master the information.

The sun rising in the east and setting in the west is not a social construct.

Racism is also a social construct. Humans are good at categorizing what they think is "good" and "bad."

If we didn't categorize by race, we would find something else. Hair color, religion, height, and weight are things that have been used in the recent past or even the present to discriminate.

Not everything is a social construct. Certain things are factual and not influenced by societal beliefs.

Isn't it kind of a paradox?

Race isn't biologically real but definitely socially and politically real.

tbrmskssVeteran

Race and ethnicity are a social construct.

That does not mean that we treat everyone the same. We should, but we don't.

So even though it is a social construct, race/ethnicity is a useful barometer of social conditions.

Dang . . . they ask race.

What is interesting is the rabbit hole you sent me down :) I checked Wisconsin. It is NOT on their voter registration form. Their voter registration form requires a WI license or ID and those don't ask for it, but . . . if you have a DL, it is going Real ID. That is where I think they are getting the race data. It just moves across from there.

Interesting how FL asks on the form and WI doesn't!

@DB

Yeah . . .

I guess DB doesn't answer the census question.

Keep doubling down on ignorance.

I find it comical that you work in a casino (iirc) which is all about stats that you don't believe others. Hell, if anyone should understand the law of large numbers, it should be you.

You will trust that science when your ass is on the operating table. You trust that science when you drink your alcohol. You trust that science when you get in your car.
