The rest was a gimick that was played with the payroll tax deduction. He had less witholding taken out. This means he probably didn't get anywhere near the refund that he had gotten in the past.

That’s a significant change and I’d like to see any citations of Biden’s words where he has given support to the KKK or any actions that suggest he has.
His politics have been much more anti-racist than those of Trump.

I like how Kamala Harris called out Biden’s positions on busing in one of the debates. Biden does not get an A grade from me for his history on racial issues.
He does seem to have improved in this regard since the late 1980s. He was representing voters in Delaware, many of whom were virulently against busing and had troubles with a progressive civil rights agenda. This is not an excuse for his past views.

But after the Democratic Party under President Johnson took a lead in supporting the Civil Rights movement, southern Democrats such as Thurmond switched to the Republican Party and the Democratic Party became the more anti-racist party while the GOP developed a Southern Strategy politics that appealed to anti-black racism to win votes.
Many Republicans in the North or now Blue states voted for Civil Rights legislation in 1964.

Obama inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression.
Trump inherited a significantly improved economy under Obama between 2008-2016.
Trump has made an ugly habit of appealing to anti black and anti brown racism and to xenophobia.
For me, I measure a president about how well they have fulfilled the imperatives for the federal government articulated in the Preamble of the Constitution.
There are lots of reason why
Trump is going down ad one of two or three worst presidents in American history, much lower ranked than Obama and 18 places below Jimmy Carter.
We are never going to come close to agreeing about Obama and Trump and where Trump ranks in history.

Policies pursued by President Donald Trump in his current term will end up boosting budget deficits by almost $4 trillion, a bipartisan group said Wednesday.
These costs do not include the spending on containing the coronavirus pandemic approved by Congress this year.
The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimated that the policies Trump campaigned on in 2016 and then pushed while in office will add $3.9 trillion to the fiscal deficit through 2026. The estimate excludes costs to deal with the coronavirus which it said were unforeseen.
The bulk of the cost comes from three culprits, the group said: the 2017 tax overhaul, higher military and veterans outlays, and two agreements reached with Congress to put spending over and above caps on annual government outlays.
“We estimate that taken together, these $3.9 trillion of tax cuts and spending will lead to about a 15 percent of GDP increase in debt by 2026. They explain the majority of the difference between CBO’s 2016 debt projection of 86 percent of GDP in 2026 and its current projection of 107 percent of GDP, the highest level in our nation’s history,” the group said.
