Erotic..... I think there have been a few national level political figures that won elections. There was also a congressman from NJ who won an election from jail. Lol. Anything is possible.

And he threatened to shut down "certain" social media sites.

Here's a positive...

He finally tweeted something that Twitter actually fact checked. So that's a first.

@Amanda

I thought of something interesting. Recently I have been doing a lot of coding and I have to create what is called test classes. I have to test all positive and all negative situations. The recent code that I wrote has over 100 potential scenarios. So there is a lot of thinking into the what-ifs.

What if Trump gets CV19 and dies, say 11/1. I am not wishing it on him. I have no idea what happens. I am fairly confident, but not 100% sure that we can elect a dead man. I know we can vote for a dead person. And yes, ELECT. I know a dead man can't serve :)

Then it got me thinking, what happens if the same thing happens on 12/1 and he lost? Or 12/1 and he won? I think on the lost, that Pence would get to ride out the term. On the won, I think, assuming Pence is on the ticket, gets to become President.

Just an interesting thought to figure out what happens to the vote. I am sure there is something about it somewhere :)

Erotic.... He is taking Hydroxychloroquine..... So if you are correct, he'll not make it to Nov. Does that count as him doing something good for the country?

Can anyone say anything positive about Trump's actions over the last 100 days?

Do not mistake preference for discrimination.

I can go around and say, "I do not like ___ people. I like to be around ____ people" That doesn't mean I discriminated against them. I am not obliged by law or morally to like everyone. I am obliged by law to not discriminate against someone in commerce.

Of course we do. We are imperfect beings. Have you ever discriminated against anyone for any reason?

@sar,

so you would like to completely eliminate guns, Christianity and rich corporations, right?

sardukarVeteran

Because we do discriminate..

mario609Veteran

So why do you feel that we should "completely" (all discrimination) legislate what the vast majority feels is ethically wrong?

mario609Veteran
Vineland, NJ, Us

Sar, do you think that ALL forms of discrimination should be illegal?

mario609Veteran

My bad. I inadvertently put the word "not" in there. I was thinking about responses for two different threads and I put in the word "not".
So, to be clear, our government DOES have and does uphold laws on discrimination based on sexual orientation.

here is the DOJ statement again: "...that federal civil rights law does not ban discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation"? - completely disagree with that...this is government enforcing discrimination...this is wrong. see I'm honest here I have no problem taking a stand when needed. If Dems do that I will still condemn it and still stand against them....Your failure to take stand for whats right is the difference between 2 of us.

You see Sar, I can not answer your question in the way YOU WANT me to answer. The reason for that is because you make broad based assumptions. Like just because I disagree with some of the current administration's views, that does not mean I am a liberal. Just because I believe that discrimination is wrong, that does not make me a liberal. Just because I believe in the right to keep and bear arms does not mean I'm a conservative nor does the fact that I believe in limited government.

Any or all of those examples, and all of your examples, confirm only one thing. That an individual citizen can find parts of both idiologies valid and reject others. I am an independent. I vote in the primaries for the candidates who best align with my values. The act of voting for one party or the other, causes an automatic registration as a member of that party. I then must register as an independent again. So I have been and voted for, both Rep and Dems. I do not wish to be put into the too well defined boxes of Dem, rep, conservative or liberal. But if I was forced to put a label on my political idiology........

Constitutionalist.

that does not matter...what matters is do you support the administration or not.. You refuse to answer since you dont agree with them...you know that discrimination is wrong...you know that apartheid is wrong, you know voter suppression is wrong, you know that air pollution is wrong, you know drilling in national preserve and ocean is wrong, but you wont say it, if you do..then you are in fact liberal. This is what we liberals care about and yes I believe goverment has a responsibility to crate life of dignity and free of fear.

Just got done reading the case report in full. Having only skimmed it before, I was mistaken. I got to the part about the position being eleminated and failed to read the rest. So I was wrong.

sar and many more like him base their post off of the MSM fake as fuck news. Those paying attention, understand what is going on. AS for the caravan AKA Invasion that will be stopped in its tracks. Il say again just like I did a while back. Any one in here I mean the ones who think we owe the illegals anything. Please carry your ass and a kid or 2 of yours across the Mexican border without going through a check point, and see just how fast you get free shit. Again, I didn't think so.

the case is about Mia Macy, Transgender Woman Denied Employment By ATF. Do you agree with Trump amin or not...say so we can move forward..

mario609Veteran
Vineland, NJ, Us

I don't think that Macy v DOJ covers transgender. But is there an actual point you are trying to make? Because it seems like I agreed with you and you still have not gotten to your point. Or is it that you can Google discrimination law and and post it? Is that your point?

sardukarVeteran

PSS: "discrimination against an individual because that person is transgender (also known as gender identity discrimination) is discrimination because of sex and therefore is covered under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. See Macy v. Department of Justice,"

sardukarVeteran
New York, NY

PS: ".... Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Equal Pay Act of 1963, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, Sections 501 and 505 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Titles I and V of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), Title II of the Genetic Information Non-discrimination Act (GINA), and the Civil Rights Act of 1991. These laws prohibit discrimination based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, and genetic information, as well as reprisal for protected activity. "

sardukarVeteran

..so you support Trump admins then ?

mario609Veteran

Civil rights laws do not ban discrimination on the basis of sex, religion, race or sexual orientation.
