kibbs...they are just thirsty lol
[LOCKED]WTF
Someone please explain to me what makes it neccessary for two young boys to go through no less than 27 cups in a 48 hour time period! Grrrr!
mine dont hit the water lol
OMG! You made coffee almost come out my nose! That same song jumped into my head earlier, too.
do your balls hang low, do they wobble to and thro, do the fall into the toilet water...
OMG! You made me cackle!
at least it isn't the visual he gave me of one of his former office mates who I had actually met and him saying his balls hit the water in the toilet when he sat down to shit. I was like ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I didn't need to have that visual associated with B. Trooper was like neither did I but he shared so I did too. Gee thanks honey.
{snicker} Sorry, there's visuals that come up with that. LOL!
my husbands doesn't hang ;) its nice and high and tight like a statue of david. Maybe we both got non-saggy genes.
Very good point! I actually considered that, myself. I think shape and consistency has a factor that plays into the whole equation, as well. I think I was mostly offended by a dude thinking he had a better idea of boobage than someone who actually sports a rack.....wonder how his nutsack hangs, let's do a study on that, lol
knock on wood, even though I tend to go braless most of the time mine remain pretty darn perky. I even went braless in the breastfeeding years around the house (where I was most of the time) with those big DD/DDD's I had. On the other hand my sister who didn't breastfeed and wears a bra every waking moment sags badly or did before having breast cancer. However I have noticed most everyone on mom's side of the family ends up with big saggy breasts, even those that had implants look saggy. Dad's side, which I seem to take after, doesn't. So maybe genetics also play a part?
PG
OK, some DUDE is arguing with me on HuffPo about supporting breasts or letting them hang. I told him 1. Natinal Geographic illustrates my point, 2. when he grew boobs of his own he could handle them however he chooses, and 3. it's just like piercings with heavier and heavier jewelry {imagine the earring holes that you can fit a saucer through} and if you stretch the tissue it wasn't going to get that much stronger to support a lot of pull, it was going to just hang there. Duh!
A new French study claims wearing a bra is a "false neccessity" and going braless actually makes the nipples sit higher and more muscle to develop to support them, etc
POPPYCOCK!
Anyone who has picked up a copy of "National Geographic" when they show topless aborigine women knows the flaws in this study. I'm sorry, but I'm CERTAIN the only reason my boobs are even REMOTELY "perky" after two pregnancies and breastfeeding both children is because I religiously wore good support to prevent the gravitational pull on the extra mass/weight of my breasts.
Y'all, this just broke my heart to read:
Girl's Head Swells Like A Balloon: Runa Begum, Of India, Born With Hydrocephalus
Her dad makes $2 and change PER DAY and obviously can't afford treatment and the Indian govenment pretty much has nothing to offer them in the way of helping her get the shunts. I almost widh we had a "swinger's relief fund" just for good causes or something.
PG, I am thinking the comment about banning them may have been a bit of a sarcastic comment, in light of the current calls to ban inanimate objects.
especially when most of the fault of such objects tend to be from reckless careless or dangerous use of them...
I didn't say they should be banned. I do think store store employee's need to know where the emergency stop button is as it can help minimize injuries.
You forgot moving walkways.
also Ban elevators, and Stairs as well.
look at the person who was cut in half 2 years ago in NY, and how many people have had heart attacks climbing stairs.....
While we are at it why not make sure all buildings are 1 floor so no worries about climbing stairs or falling down them.
Ban escalators!!!
working retail for many years I have seen one too many escalator accidents. Usually the elderly, they lose their balance and fall backwards while riding up. They then bounce around like a rag doll on metal steps as we run towards the emergency stop. Which SHOULD be located to the right both top and bottom by the rail in plain sight. By the way jumping over the rail ONTO an escalator in heels and a skirt is not a smart move either, even if your doing it to try to help. I knew a co-worker was headed to the emergency stop and vaulted over the rail, while the store manager was running down the escalator. He and I ended up with the lady practically in our laps as the thing stopped. 911 had to be called for the customer.
I agree VA.
One can say that about many items, such as Ladders , powered saws, Drills, hammers, stand mixers , power washers ,powered paint sprayers. to name a few items that incur serious or fatal injury due to misuse and or abuse.
While we freak out about such things and see the potential for injury, how many people are really hurt or killed on escalators each year? Most injuries have been from people sitting on (and then falling off) the hand rails, or from a collapse from a faulty installation, which in my opinion is not the escalator's "fault" at all.
A quick hunt suggests fewer than one person in the world a year is seriously injured or killed each year by things being caught in the mechanism. It seems your chances of being killed by almost anything else is higher.
sw- most of the emeregency stops on escalators are at the base and top of the stair units under the rails.....
In the mid 80's I worked at a mall where a person's Shoelace got caught in the top section of an escalator and the persons sneaker ended up half way throught the unit , the kid was lucky the sneakers were not tightly on the foot.
Chances are the repairs that should have been done had nothing to do with why he fell.
He shoulda got a ticket for RUI.
Escalator Strangling Death: Man Falls Down During Ride, Gets Choked By Own Shirt
Police are investigating an escalator strangling death that took place in Washington state when a man riding the escalator fell off and had his clothing caught in the mechanism.
Maurecio Bell, a 42-year-old who was at the Benaroya Hall Metro Station, was found dead early Sunday morning. The King County medical examiner’s office ruled that he choked to death when he became entangled in the escalator.
Police found video of the escalator strangling death, confirming the medical examiner’s findings. They said the footage shows Bell staggering and then leaning against the escalator wall at 5:10 am. As he was nearing the bottom of the escalator, he lost his balance and fell onto his back, where he continued to lay without trying to get up or reach the railing.
As the escalator reached the bottom, the back of Bell’s shirt was pulled into the machinery, choking him. Bell tried to get up at this point but was pulled back down, police said.
A witness found Bell and pressed the escalator‘s manual stop button and tried to perform CPR. The Seattle Fire Department showed up but medics were unable to revive him.
The report noted that an opened bottle of brandy was found in Bell’s pocket.
“It’s an unfortunate and tragic accident, and we’ve never seen anything like it before,” said King County Metro spokesman Jeff Switzer.
The Washington Department of Labor & Industries is looking into the escalator strangling death to see just how Bell’s clothes got caught in the machinery.
The day after the escalator strangling death, the Washington labor agency announced that it had completed an investigation into another escalator in Bellevue Square where seven people were injured in December. Officials found 32 code violations.
It appears the escalator strangling death could have been prevented, as well. An inspection report from Labor & Industries found that seven corrections and maintenance practices were needed on the escalator by the end of March, but they were never corrected by the time of Bell’s death.
