Wow I wonder what that is like. Waking up on your own. Its been years and years. I don't even remember the last time.

Waking up on my own and not being jarred out of my sleep by the darn cell phone ringing or buzzing!

Piping hot coffee from my favorite bakery. I like it burn-your-mouth hot and my favorite bakery lady always makes a fresh pot when she sees me coming.

Another simple pleasure: being a "regular" at a cafe. It is lovely to know the staff and be remembered.

Thanks NJBoy. Even though he has been gone a long time, for me, it's like yesterday. I still miss him even though he was a pain in the ass....LOL!

BLT - You posted it like two weeks ago but I just read it. That's very nice what you did for your son.

Sleeping with the windows open. It is still ten degrees cooler than average here and that's just fine by me.

organizing? yes. scrubbing stuff, not as much, but I'm kind of a neat freak, so I don't mind cleaning. I'm just very distracted when I clean.

I still say one of my best simple pleasures is simply petting and hugging my dog.

I hate putting clothes away. I have a pile on top of the dryer right now!

ummm you can come do that for us anytime. If you love cleaning house that would be great too. :)

This isn't everyone's, but I like folding clothes and putting them away.

After being up late watching the Mayweather fight, getting up early for church and then working out, it was so nice to come home shower, eat and rest and end the night in the pool.

Making Tammy laugh hysterically. Last night, as she was walking out of the bathroom to come to bed, we had this conversation:

T: "Do you know what we need to do?"
S: "OH Yeah!"

I don't think that's the answer she was expecting. She laughed so hard she almost fell down.
