I've enjoyed "The Pitt" series. The intensity, realism, story complexity, and camera work are exceptional.
Recent TV Series
I've been watching The Dark Wizard on HBO. It's a docuseries about Dean Potter, the climber, slackliner, base jumper/Wingsuit flyer. I remember reading about his exploits back then, but the series goes far deeper. I've followed climbing stories before, but this one has me at the edge of my seat.
These aren't just any fallout shelters. These are premium, VaultTec (TM) shelters, intended for the long haul.

Drapes in a fallout shelter?
Started watching the first season of Fallout last week. Some hilarious stuff there. Like the main character gets married to a hot guy from the next door fallout shelter, big party before they retire for their honeymoon night. After they bang each other's brains out, he gets up and walks around her room nude. And then wipes his dick on her drapes. Gotta admit, that had me laughing.
I’d kill someone who touched my window treatments.

Interesting is how I'd categorize it. That reminds me that we may have a new episode or 2 to watch. We sometimes lose track of the series we watch.
We watched season 1 of Fallout. Season 2 is in progress.
It's interesting. Hopefully it stays good.
Binge=watched Pluribus a couple of weeks ago. Rhea Seehorn gives a great performance. There's a couple of things that make no sense, but I suspect that they're going to be resolved in the 2nd season, so I'm not really criticizing as much as observing.
Also binge-watched the 2nd season of Landman. I actually liked it better than the first season, especially the big meeting scene at the end of the last episode. I keep watching that over and over again, I find it really enjoyable, oddly enough.
This series (actually just a pilot) can be found on YouTube.
End of the 8.
It is set in Ocean Beach, the town just down the hill from us.
It is actually pretty bad, but if you want to get a flavor of this hippie beach town, this is funny as hell.
The opening credits are at a bar we frequent. Where they play their gig, Winstons, is a well known live music place that we have been to many times.
Hodad's is an iconic burger joint that has been in it's present location since the 1970s. It is across the street from Winstons
The OB pier is closed, and they plan to replace it.
And, the icing on the cake, this is where Ashli Babbitt lived before she made her ill fated trip to DC.
I'm not a stoner, but this is the environment where I spend a lot of my time.
I agree regarding American Primeval. That was a good watch.
Currently 2 episodes in on final season of stranger things.
Omg I was completely riveted. I went through most of it in one of those watch-a-thons people are always talking about.
Otherwise I’ve had my tv on 3 x in 2025.

Currently 2 episodes in on final season of stranger things.
We went back and watched the original four seasons of Stranger Things before watching the new season. It helped give context to what was happening.
Overall, I thought it was a great series but the finale, where we learn that this was all just the science teacher’s dream, was disappointing.
Jk, the actual finale was one of the best wrap ups I can remember.

A really sexy guy turned me on to a series called American Primeval.
It’s intense, fast and full of action, much like the person who recommended it.
We are, but it's been so long between seasons and we've watched so many other series that neither of us even remember the overall premise of the series, so had to go back and watch the 1st episode of each prior season to see the recap. Haven't actually started on the latest season yet, but plan on it.
Has anyone started watching the final season of Stranger Things?
I started the other day but had to pause after just 10 mins.
Plan to pick it back up this week.
"Has anyone watched "After Life" with Ricky Gervais?"
yes. we liked it
Sorry, but the Netflix show I referred to was "North OF North".
I watched After Life. It was interesting. I am a fan of his stand-up. The show had more of what I would consider British humor, which isn't what I typically enjoy, but it was still a decent show.
Has anyone watched "After Life" with Ricky Gervais?
I watched it a couple of yrs back. Thinking about watching that again.
Along with two the greatest: The Wire and All In the Family. I was too young to understand it back in the 70's.
We watched North or North on Netflix. Cute comedy series with 8 short (30 min or less episodes) and apparently good enough that they announced a second season is coming. It was a nice light-hearted change from the Sci-fi/action adventure we so often watch.
