Outlander is really good. Last episode of Ozarks left me speechless!

By far, the best thing we laid eyes on Netflix is Resurrection. What an ass kicking series! Kathy and I are totally addicted!

Ozark on Netflix. Excellent series.

Tales from the Loop (Amazon Prime)

Surprisingly good. Inspired by Simon Stålenhag's art, sci-fi and drama combine to take us through the lives of different townspeople who live above "the Loop": "a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe, experience things previously consigned to the realm of science fiction."

Beautifully filmed, set, and scored...an easy binge.

Season 1 of You was actually pretty good.
Season 2 was decent.

Bonding. It hit one of my few sweet spots for episodic storytelling. It was visually interesting, had a kind of awkward sweetness to it and each episode was short.

The Expanse, if you're a sci-fi fan. Touted to be the most scientifically accurate sci-fi series to date. Great cast, stays mostly true to the books, and a helluva lot of fun to watch.

My SIL was convinced I would like Letterkenny, being Canadian and all. I watched a couple of episodes.

It was strange to say the least. Didn't really like it, but a lot of people think it's the funniest thing on TV.

We just finished Carnival Row, which we loved. It seems to fit my current groove...I'm also reading the Teremiere series, which blends fantasy into the Napoleonic Wars timeline.

We're just starting the Witcher, and man the fight scenes are intense! He's doing a good job of channeling Geralt, and it seems to respect the source material well so we're both hopeful about it.

And Schitts's Creek, which is warm and clever and funny as hell

Another good one is on HBO week to week.
Only two episodes so far, but...... The Outsider is really good thriller.

The Killing is an adapt of a Danish murder detective show.

Only a few seasons, but really good series.

I loved SOA; it might be time for a rewatch soon. My new favorite binges have been Catastrophe and Fleabag. Second season Fleabag writing, acting and direction were just stellar.

EA: agree wholeheartedly, the way he has spun those characters has you liking and hating the character sometimes within the episode. I will say that I do love me some Wendy ( loved her on Sons as well), I wouldn’t mind having her top me (minus the peeing of course lol)
Giamatti is such a great actor, Damian Lewis there are no words for, his portrayal as Axe is amazing. I forget he is actually English.

@Fokkers

I have always been impressed with anything that Andrew Ross Sorkin puts out. He does an incredible job of just making some damn good depth in characters and damn good depth in drama. His shows require some thinking!

I love Billions. What an amazing show. I was sold after the first episode.

Of course, the baby yoda show, aka the Mandalorian. Yes, I know, it's new, so what :)

The IT Crowd. Funny as hell.

The Young Offenders. Also funny as hell.

Billions. Very good drama.

Marvel's the Runaways. The first two seasons very good. The third season was shitty, but it had Elizabeth Hurley in it, so . . .

Somehow, Hulu suggested I start watching Taxi. It has been a LONG time since I saw that show. I watched a few episodes and remembered it was not bad at all.

In the last year I have binged through Sons of Anarchy, Game if Thrones, The Office and Mad Men. All excellent! Right now I am watching Good Girls which has a Weeds feel to it.
The Netflix Dracula series is excellent as well, 4 long episodes each one could beats own movie.

Raising Deon netflix

I just rewatched derek the tv show today. It just makes your 5 year cut off. Ha. It's honestly like nothing else I've ever watched. It's funny, and sweet, and dirty and causes the best kind of crying. The best way to describe it is pure.

Also venture bros, legion, mr. Robot. The leftovers, and justified are in my opinion the best shows ever made.

It's a movie, but it's the wrap up to a great TV series. "El Camino". It's what happens to Jesse in the 3 days that follow the end of Breaking Bad. If you like Breaking Bad, you have to see it. I particularly liked Todd in the movie. His psychosis is on full display.

Better Call Saul (and its predecessor)

Mrs VA really liked "You".

What's some good TV series you've seen or watched lately? Primarily something that started in the past 5-6 years.

Not reviews of bad shows...
But what's good stuff out there worth watching?
