I have, in various trips, driven the entire length of northbound I-5, from the border of Mexico, to the border of Canada. The bridge you are referring to Current, I have driven it at least once.
Planning a trip
Very glad to see that the Washington State DOT after years of inaction by the City of Seattle and several nearby fires finally cleared an intractible "homeless" encampment under the I-5 ship canal bridge. I cringed every time I drove by that place and saw the plywood shantys, propane fired grills, motorcycles, broken down vans etc. just a dozen or so feet below the steel truss structure. That roadway is the carotid artery of the West coast economy from Vancouver to San Diego with only three lanes (including HOV) as a potential bypass to the Seattle section.
MN rebuilt the entire I35 bridge across the Mississippi River in Minneapolis in 14 months.
That collapse happened on Aug. 1, 2007. 13 people died and 145 were injured. I forget exactly why, but for some reason I took a different route that day and time or I might have been on that bridge around the time it collapsed.
Keep calm....our ultra liberal mayor who does press releases from hotel rooms on zoom, and spends his time planning to move to kumbya Portland, OR ...is on the situtation!!!!.......should take about 4 yrs to fix.
That road collapse was just terrible. Brought back memories of when MN had an interstate freeway collapse several years ago. Several people died in that one too.
I work a mile up the road from the collapse site.
Melvin - I heard that. We had friends visiting this weekend and one lives 15 mins from that collapse. Luckily it's 15 mins north rather than south of it.
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiif any of you are planning a trip to Philadelphia any time soon, plan accordingly. This bullshit happened this morning... A collapse of the Interstate highway itself!

Apo, shhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
We would second Chemistry. It is run by great people and is fantastic for it’s size. They do have playrooms and an open play area and it is clean. The Red Room is also in there, but we haven’t gotten to that club yet. We have heard positive things about it from some friends. As HL indicated Chemistry is more single male friendly than most clubs, but they do control the volume so you wouldn’t be overwhelmed.
Look at. "Clubs" by states....
Club Chemistry-
A bit on the small size (compared to somewhere like Trapeze in Ft Lauderdale or Tempted in Louisville).
Very well run: clean, organized, well designed.
Like other clubs in the area, not particularly play oriented. Many people go to socialize and hen take the party off-premise. On the other hand, they do have some nice little gangbang rooms and respectful gentlemen whom my wife liked.
Club Chemistry is one we heard great things about, but have not been there ourselves yet.
Apolon,
I would do that if I were looking to meet someone(s).
What we would like is just suggestions as to fun LS venues in the area.
We suspect that we will have an evening to ourselves and thought that a night out, with potential, would be fun.
Delete your post & go to HOT DATES in Nashville.....to get a response.
We will be in the Nashville TN area, actually a bit south about 40 miles, the weekend after July 4. Can anyone point us to a club in that area?
