What is happening in medicine because of Obamacare, its so bad that i would never let a doctor operate on me until Obamacare is dead and gone.
Doctors are so desperate for money, if you have private health insurance they will never let you leave the hospital until they have milked every dime from your insurance company. Its getting scary and people just blindly believe their doctors.

That is part of Obamacare regulations and the desperation that the doctors have to make money as Obamacare has cut their incomes by a large amount.
Mrs had her pap smear done before we moved to Las Vegas. The doctor for the first time refused to send her the results and instead said that she had to come in. Mrs raised hell she is in medicine and can read results of the lab tests. Doctor refused to send her the results and demanded she come in. Then the doctor said that they found something wrong..she paid her money for a office visit. At the office the doctor said that they could not find her test results but she needed more tests done because they found something.
Mrs hit the roof and laid out her credentials to the doctor. The doctor freaked and said that she would send her the pap smear results and refunded her money,

@DD: Amen & PREACH! My new Primary Dr co pay isn't outrageous, but I swear the practice insists I come in and be seen to get routine Lab work authorization then Plus the Lab fees.
If it's something like that or a reoccurring illness like strep or an ear infection where it's always the Exact Same Course of Action- Stop the madness!!!
Also @DD: never got eyelash falsies tho did try getting them dyed which I blinked & got in my eye. Oops. No harm tho and ended up getting my brows dyed (my own are lite brown-blonde)

PS. This is my soapbox: if you have a sore throat, even a mild one that is one-sided, get a throat culture. Strep can cause permanent heart damage. Look up rheumatic fever.
I wish we could get lab tests over the counter or by just walking in a lab. A doctor could get involved if a test was positive. 95% of the time, I know exactly what I have. I'm sure most people are the same, at least after they have been diagnosed with something a time or two. That might help reduce our skyrocketing healthcare costs.
I was going to get lash extensions. With them, my lashes look normal.

No strep! Just a little asthma! The night can be saved.
PS. I go in for every little sore throat because I've had strep 30 times, including affecting my heart and joints. I make sure that I slap that bitch down before she can get a foothold!

Waiting, and waiting, and waiting in a clinic to see if I have strep. I'm missing my eyelash appointment.
If the test is positive, so much for a big New Year's Celebration.
Is it really too much to ask for people to do their due diligence when it affects others?
