If you can,t get an actually agreed pose from your wife for your profile, that says it's fake....that means your wife is not interested and your just fishing for pics and erotic contact falsely.....wasting everybody's time & effort to do this ligit.

I don't know what experience you had with those profiles. But, I ask, what makes you think the profiles are fake? Did they ignore or reject you in anyway? Did they proposition you for money, drugs, etc?
Let us know what those profiles did to you to make you say that those profiles are fake.

My favorite fake profile is one that had been popping up of a couple where the lady was several months pregnant, for at least two years straight. Bonus: they never showed up at any events they signed up as attending.
We did the same thing up until our question got answered by support (about week or two ago)... we were kind of concerned when we remembered a profile from a long time ago that had not passed 49 years old, We could go on and on about the age discrepancy issues ... <G>

Well Wayne we didn't want to show up as a view on the profile... It's a local profile. (and thinking the same person takes care of the issue no matter how it's reported) As far as 98 years old... Well that was in response to a support ticked about ages not updating... SLS said that if ages updated people would get mad so we figured why report our correct ages, 98 percent dont.

<p>You should use the "Report" icon on the profile for this sort of thing. Also include details. I just looked up that profile and the Description did describe a couple, so the reviewer (I do not generally do those) most likely stopped right there. I had to dig deeper to see that the person was sending private messages that he was a single male. If that is how you learn of this, you need to include that in the report so we know right where to look. Thanks.</p>

We reported a Single posing as a couple on the 18th... guess what.. he is still posing as a couple... (yes we created a "support ticket" and got a response)

So, when they obviously copy outside sources and post them here it means nothing? Seems like you all would want to stop that and it makes no sense as to why you would not. If you did care about insulating your members then you would do something concerning that issue.
That is a separate issue than wanting to police what happens in onsite chat. In our case we scam baited the guy in a chat app because you all refused to act. We are glad that you all do monitor what happens here and don't want communication outside of the site so that you can. However, pretending that outside data being uploaded to your site means nothing is pretty silly.
Yes, thanks Wayne for the clarification. I understand. We just wanted to get a post going on this as it really is part of all lifestyle sites. If not “fake than not legitimate”. Either way it is a someone who is not what the profile says they are.
Some idea’s people can do to weed them out,
Have them take a picture together with a paper with the date on it.
Video chat, if they don’t want faces than have it neck down, but at least both are in it. & audio goes through.
We always ask for a 4 way phone call or 4 way text to know all 4 are on board. To many guys make a date then cancel last minute because “ they could not get the last second buy in from the wife” this one is off topic.

<p>Because we do not want to falsely punish someone, we MUST have concrete proof. That proof MUST come from here within the website. Links to outside pictures mean nothing and is not proof of anything. What they said on KIK or some other outside site means nothing and is not proof of anything. We clearly tell all of you not to use outside resources. Report them to KIK if the cnversation happened there. I never use the word "fake" because it is a meaningless term. Everyone seems to have a different definition of what is "fake". This site has policies, and if they are violating one of our policies, you can report them and we will look for proof here within the site. A male pretending to be a couple is a violation. If somewhere here within the site, he has stated that he is only single, that is proof that I can see and I can take action. </p>

Crazy, there really isn't much you can expect from SLS in terms of shutting down a fake profile. We reported one complete with links of pictures they had copied etc. and SLS did nothing. Even went as far as doing a scam baiting thing with them and got their real pictures. Turned out to be a Russian teen. Even after that, he kept wanting pictures. SLS Wayne is seemingly convinced that fakes would have no reason to spend money and set up a profile. Why fakes are fakes varies and for us the most awkward are the husbands trying to push their wives into meeting people when she has no idea what is happening. As suggested block those folks and move on.

Problem is tooooo many fakes here. I chat with minimum 20 couples like that.... hard core fake. Pay to be members and Probably jurk when chat .... but it's democracy.... :)

What do any of you do when you discover someone has contacted you and they are fake? What I mean by fake is someone pretending to be a couple, or the person (guy) is someone from another country. We have been on this site for sometime and are smart enough to know when this is happening. ( please don’t ask how do we know for sure. Red flags are Red flags ) We reported the profile to admin but the profile is still up. I sure with we could list the profile name on this post, better yet, we had a place we could report these people to others.
