Had it and double booked surgery with slalom water ski race. Dr. Said no racing, but I did it anyway. Ripped stitches, crazy glue myself back together for second race and took first place. No problems with desire or performance.
Had it done in 1993. We had our 2 kids & didn't plan on any more, plus we were getting into the lifestyle. No effect on sex drive or performance. Actually think without the worry of pregnancy sex drive improved! Recovery wasn't all that bad. Only a dull pain for a few days.

Once it’s ok to resume “activities”, you can have all kindsa fun with your significant other ensuring that your gun’s empty. They’ll test you a few weeks later to be sure you’re unarmed.

Had mine done 15 years ago. No change in performance or desire.
Occasionally I’ll get separation anxiety. I can’t quite tell if it those poor little guys I’m missing or if it’s the distance between me and The Mrs. purse that causes it.

I had the same anxieties, and have had no issues since I got snipped. One BIG positive is I no longer have fears of a condom breaking, and accidentally impregnating a playmate.
And yes, frozen peas will be your friends!

Don't forget to get a couple bags of frozen veggies.....they work better than an ice pack down there :)
So I have decided to get a vasectomy. Wife and I have spoken about it and she is happy that I decided to get it done. First appointment is in 2 weeks with a nurse to discuss the operation.
My questions are for the guys that have had it done. I have two main concerns. Did you notice a change in your sex drive and did it cause any performance issues ?
