Don't care what they look like. I'd have DNA tests performed one the twins.

In my surgery, they cauterized the ends. A number of years later, I noticed a lump in my scrotum. Doctor checked it and said that it is where the semen were building up since they are still being produced. Now it is about have the size f my other two balls. I just say that I am such a great stud that I have 3 balls. Ha ha!

That's all I meant. Thanks and good night.

"A vasectomy can fail if the doctor misses the vas deferens during the procedure."

If that is a quote from a forum poster, then it is with good reason they are blocked. If this is from an article being quoted, then someone needs better referencing material.

If you go in to have the vas deferens snipped, burned and capped and the doctor misses it, then you definitely do need a better doctor.

Answer my question. When did I say it doesn't happen? Your mind reading skills have failed you!

funlyfriend you seem to be of a mindset it is not something that happens. It does indeed happen and I know someone it happened to. He was tested and at zero and check a year later at zero then later on there were twins. He got tested and had a count. It was after 1990 in fact they were not even married before the mid 90's and the twins are about 10 years old now. So doing the math it was sometime in the late 2000's. Now you claim what they do since 1990 does not allow regrowth but it seems I just proved it does happen. Look it up a vasectomy for a male or tubal ligation for a female. Neither is 100%. To get 100% either you do not have sex, the ovaries in a woman would need to be removed, or a man would have to have his testicles removed. Both removals come with a whole new set of problems in regards to sexual desire and especially for a male ability to perform. Honestly neither is something done to prevent pregnancy but resolve other problems.

Far too many people think "if they do this then they are 100% safe" and it is not true. Life finds a way around what man does all the time. Now I'm not saying a vasectomy or tubal ligation is not the best way for a man or woman to prevent pregnancy and if both partners have had them done it reduces the odds to nearly zero. Still there is that ever so small chance that out of a billion couples it might just be you that beats the odds as it were. For most (including us with the wife's tubal) it works as intended but there is always an exception and TBH I'm glad it happened to who it did when it did because we were thinking about me going under the knife as it were for the peace of mind even though we still would have used condoms for a different peace of mind.

When did I say it does not happen?

Ridgeville, SC, Us

funlyfriend look it up. Lots of sites say this or something similar. Just because you have never heard of it or think it does not happen does not make it true. It can and does happen.

"A vasectomy can fail if the doctor misses the vas deferens during the procedure. In rare cases, the tube can regrow. If this does occur, the vas deferens is usually much smaller than it was before."

When I was having my V done my Urigiolist told me this V thing started with the Egyptians 3,000 years ago.

Summerville, SC, Us

My tubes were cut, shortened, cauterized and clamped. Can't imagine anything happening. And after all this time I'm pretty confident it wont

Albany, NY, Us

Oh yes it does. His doctor should have:
A. Shredded the ends

B. Put caps on each end.

If he had the V after 1990 this is standard. There is no attaching when they are capped

funlyfriend that has nothing to do with the fact after a year things regrew. it can and does happen look it up. The percentage is small but it is well worth mentioning if the intent is to prevent pregnancy especially in non-spousal partners. Imagine the ramifications of "OOPS SURPRISE!" a year or two after testing zero count.

Ridgeville, SC, Us

RonKathy The doctor tested him about 2 months and then year after the results were zero. Somehow things regrew enough to reconnect and it turns out after she got pregnant his numbers were fairly near what they were before the procedure. It can and does happen. Thing is it was funny when the cousin said twins and everyone knew he was supposedly "safe". No one ever said the obvious however once the boys were born and especially now like 10 years later there is no doubt who the father is. Nothing is 100% unless they remove everything from a woman.

He needs a better doctor

Every time I hear about someone getting a vasectomy I laugh. I was there when my cousin told her mother she was expecting twins a couple years after her husband had one. There is no doubt they are his boys so yeah for whatever reason his count went to zero and then came back up enough to father twins. Turns out it actually happens far more frequently than people realize (not the twins part but the sperm count and ability to father another child). I'm not saying do not get one but I am saying at least in his case had he known it was not going to hold he would have never went through it.

Frozen peas are a must! Really not that bad for pain, but do not ride a motorcycle the next day no matter how good you feel. Hitting a pothole felt like being punted. Other than that, no performance issues at all.

I had it done over a decade and half ago. It was the best decision ever for my situation. I never noticed any type of change in "performance". In the lifestyle we all need to be cognitive of sdt's. But at least if you ever do play bareback there's no chance of any type of accident happening.

As far as the surgery goes I recommend bagged frozen veggies over ice. I know it sounds weird but it was recommended to me by another person and I completely concur.

Summerville, SC, Us

I wasn't told to wear one at all. Just to take it easy, ice the fuck outta my balls and don't do anything for a couple days

Albany, NY, Us

Did you say "yes, my wife is coming."

Thanks for all the replies. I'm looking forward to getting it done. It will be nice not to worry about an accident happening. Also thanks for all the aftercare advice.

Thornton, CO, Us

Answer, NO AND NO! I had mine done at age 32, 43 years ago after 4th child. "IT TAKES THE WORRY OUT OF BEING CLOSE". Ware a tight jockstrap after. Still, use condoms for a month or two. When you are in the SLS it is the only way to go.

Summerville, SC, Us

Had it done about 15 years ago. It's easy and very little pain. Best thing I have done. Wish I did it much sooner. No change in anything at all. Follow the doctor's orders exactly as he tells you and you will be fine. Had it done on a Friday morning, drove myself home, went to work Monday. Had a weird feeling when I would sit down (carefully). Kept feeling that they were gonna fall out lol

the big difference was my wifes desires increased.

Lumberton, NJ, Us

There was no issue with desire or function, but load size did diminish a little. Also agree with those saying to limit the physical activity for awhile or the pain can be excruciating. I went hiking a couple of days afterward and regretted it.

Baldwinsville, NY, Us

Had mine 30 years ago. If you try to push things because you feel go, don't. I tried to lift boxes a couple of days after the surgery, my balls swelled to the size of tennis balls. I still have no problems with desire and function, but before i would shoot big loads across the room. Now, I just come about half of that load.
