It is funny how styles change. In my youth, I am 61 I would never have thought to manscape. But now I shave myself with my wifes help down there to be smooth as a baby, I can remember the days when if you went down on a lady, you had to part the bush and expect a pubic hair or two to end up in your mouth. But it did have the aroma that was intoxicating and my ex used to love to smell my underarms, she said the musk really turned her on. But I would say that I prefer very little pubic hair on a woman and most seem to completely shave smooth these days. Rarely post in the Forums, but since I have so much time on my hands now, why the hell not. I'll give all of you my secret tricks...lol. So, I'm personally not a fan of a lot of hair on me (or other guys, if I was picking for a partner). I've been married in the LS in the past, so I've learned that all women are different, but for me, I prefer smooth chest and down below. Light hair on the arms and legs, enough to show you are still a man. Shaving of legs and arms is fine, but as the ladies know, it is a commitment or else you are a prickly pear.

I trim arms and legs about once a week to 10 days with a body trimmer. Takes about 7.5 min. I also shave hands and knuckles during this time period. Why do I know the time it takes, because I'm also nairing my ass (careful on the hole area) and balls. I self-lasered my front side and it worked awesome (Tria home laser). It's HIGHLY recommended. I run a razor over the front and balls each day after stepping into a not-so-hot shower and soaping the region up well. Yes, you can shave balls. I also shave my chest each day and under my arms. I used to keep hair under my arms, in a neatly trimmed fashion, but that was more work than a razor every day....so I'm lazy now. Total time each day in the shower used for touch-up....3 min or less.

For both guys and girls, the trick with shaving is consistency and exfoliation. Get yourself a Japanese towel, which is like a loofah on steroids. After a year, ingrown hairs will become less common. After 3 or four, they are non-existent.

Since I've gone the laser route, I hope pubic hair does not come back into style too much...I'm fucked. I've tried waxing and just shaving, but this is by far the best solution for me. My partners seem to like it as well. Hubby lets me trim his shoulder and back hair with clippers, but I'd kind of like to go at his anal area, too. (On occasion, he likes to have a small amount of attention there)
Shaved nuts and shaft, though, or let it grow to non-stubble, is my preference.

I've had a few Brazilians done, but can't convince Hubby to do it. It's also harder to find someone willing to do a man's delicate parts in a small town.
I've got one or two more electrolysis treatments, NOT for my lady bits and it's slightly less painful than getting waxed (chin vs vulva). However, private parts weren't on the list of places she's willing to permanently remove hair. (Maybe it just doesn't work as well) Next time I'm in, I'll ask though. The only hair she doesn't currently tend to is the stuff on TOP of my head.

I used the Nair Bikini a couple times and had no issues with it, but the idea of continually putting something down there that is basically chemically melting the hair off didn't seem like a great long term plan.

Trimming very short with my electric trimmer serves the purpose for days at a time with no chemicals involved. I use Couchy shaving cream to soften the hairs right after trimming and shave the base about once a week or two. It's trimmed neatly, nobody is flossing with pubic hair or feels like they're having sex with a porcupine. Easy, peasy.

Oh yeah, healed up good, but have went back to shaving. I missed a very busy busy month of playtime with others due to the healing process running it’s course and my cautiousness involving the condition of exposing myself and others with broken skin. I had my doubts about it anyway by it’s warnings and whether or not others actually used it on themselves or if I was just reading blind advice.

While I’m at it, I noticed Mayhem went from advising using it here to saying he shaved in a later manscape thread in another part of the forum as well, so maybe he doesn’t advise using it anymore due to unannounced complications arising; only a follow up from him will tell the tale.

Do I recommend it even though it says “sensitive formula”? ummm no. lol

As a 'mangroomer' of many years....most men appreciate a smooth woman, its just courtesy to offer you the same....and as a member of several Florida nude resorts, its very common today to see the couples both well groomed, regardless of age.

I just shave regularly and shortly before I have a “play” date. It leaves me really smooth. I use a decent razor in the shower with just lathered body soap for the shaving cream. For your balls, just pull the skin tight in the area you’re shaving. Main secret is after drying off, put “No Bump” liquid (I get it in the women’s cosmetic department) on a cotton ball and swab the area you shave, except your ball sack. Using that I never get razor bumps.

If I’m sporting some unshaven part above Mr. Happy, I use my beard trimmer to trim it short.
