Yes, I (Barbarian) am the male half. In answer to the other questions, yes everything is waxed except for scrotum and shaft near scrotum. Getting waxed at home involved tequila, tears, and screaming. I recently went to an esthetician and the pain level was dramatically lower. The wax must melt at a lower temperature, and the entire process was much faster.

I found shaving results in stubble within a day, while hair grows back soft after waxing. Also, i now have far less hair growing back after five years of waxing. Thank goodness!

I know this has gotten astray a bit and not exactly what the OP asked, yet would serve better in the women's talk, but I would like to add to the veering.....haha

Mrs. 888 says I'm like a bear and there is nothing yet I'm willing to further try to delay or stop it's growth because it grows back quickly. My back is what it is, it's pretty hairy (about 1-1.5 inch) from my waist to my head, I shave my neck to below my collar. Since I am turning grey on the body, my hair is VERY course, takes shaving my torso and areas with hair clippers and a #4 guide 4 directions, which I do monthly because if not, my chest hairs come out my collar, grow up to 3-5 inches and end up sticking through my shirt during the course of the day. The belt line to the top of the cock base and arching around the base of the sack of the upper pelvic and inner thighs gets a #2 guide. My balls and scrotum are neatly shaved to the inner thigh and I have a special no cut trimmer for my rectal area, which if I didn't do, wouldn't at all look right because it's a hairy up my butt crack too . Everything blends and nothing looks like a golfer took a patch out of the green.

I take a couple or so hours to accomplish this feat and haven't had any complaints yet, yet have on occasion have gotten positive special recognition comments on the blending.

Usually weekly, and at a minimum every other week, I get out my battery powered clippers and trim both my goatee and my pubic area. I use a guard as short as I can that does not it make it feel stubbly or prickly but softens up immediately in the shower afterward. It did take a time or two of experimenting to find the correct guard and that is the only guard I kept in the set.

I do shave my nuts and have tried shaving above a few times, but the above area seems to get stubbly within a day or so and gets razor burned. Additionally I do not care for the look of being shaved above on myself, although I like the look sometimes on others. My legs, chest, and belly all have hair, so shaving the pubic area looks out of place, like I have been prepped for surgery or something (at least it does to me).

Waxing works best, but it will bring tears to one's eyes when having it done. I (Barbarian) get waxed a few times per year. Helps to go to an esthetician versus waxing at home.

I don't.

But I am not a hairy guy at all. No chest hair to speak of, and because of my medical issues no hair on my legs. The rest of my body is pretty sparse.

Even my beard is spotty. I can get a decent mustache and goatee, but the sides are pretty non-existent...

No stubble, because there is no way that is going to go well. I'm also not a fan of untrimmed, because I like to choose when I floss my teeth. Other than that, eh, don't care. But I am serious about no stubble. That shit hurts.
