Have been seeing ads on tv about a treatment that uses sonic waves to increase blood flow to that area. Just wondering if it works and what the cost might be. I have seen a home treatment using the same system and the cost is $1000 and you own it.

I am told the VA will pay for an implant. I had the AMS 700 installed. Paid for it myself. I lived in Wisconsin at the time and they gave me nothing. I now live in Florida. Check with your local VA or insurance company. I can get hard whenever and how often I want. Any questions about the implant please contact me.

“ The VA would only give me enough to inject myself every 2 weeks and my levels always were in the low 200 but within their approved range.”

Two weeks is long enough to bottom out due to cypionate half life is 8 days, and on day 11 you’re done for. So comes the roller coaster of emotion. One injection in the thigh a week prevents highs and lows, which is what I choose and I’m able to reduce the amount needed by 30 percent to stay under 860.

While almost no insurance companies will cover the costs of a T specialist, most general care practitioners don’t know how to administer it, but if you do your own research, you could control it on your own while educating your doctor.

BTW, the reason I’m pointing elsewhere, the OP didn’t mention fatigue, which is a low T symptom.

FWIW - A donut costs about a dollar these days ;-) 888 did bring up a good point about spending a lot of time sitting and being stagnant can takes it's toll after a while. If there are no big discoveries after the doc visit, you might want to look into some sort of physical activity. Sucks because some fun things like dancing and bowling or other team sports are risky right now.

Yes get your T levels tested as others have advised. What I would recommend is that you go to a clinic that specializes in low T. I used a Urologist for a couple of years with T cream then used the VA for shots. The VA would only give me enough to inject myself every 2 weeks and my levels always were in the low 200 but within their approved range. Finally went to a clinic that deals with low T and started with pellets. My ass hurt for a week after having them inserted. Switched over to giving myself two shots a week in my belly like a diabetic does with insulin. Now my levels stay in the 750 to 850 range. I feel soo much better.

Wager: Dollar to a doughnut, It’s not the T levels. Your energy and drive is not gone, your dick is lacking the push; HDL and LDL are probably sucking. Get a full blood panel and prostate check (due to driving a lot).

I agree with all the advice to far and was thinking T-levels too, but a trip to the doc should answer that for sure.

I wasn't sure how to interpret, "My mind says sex every minute. I am a sexual addiction person." If this equates to you watching a lot of porn, that can kind of desensitize you over time, meaning you need more and more stimulus to get aroused. Wasn't sure if this was the case though so figured I'd ask what you meant by this.

I was diagnosed with low T at the very young age of 26 and I'm now entering my 16th or so year of being on HRT. I've done everything from Androgel to the injections and now the implanted T seeds. I'm only in Week 4 of the seeds (compared to years of each of the other therapies) so my opinion on them isn't based on as much data. Overall, if you can tolerate the recovery, I would highly recommend the seed implants. That said, it is a bit more traumatic than they say but wasn't anything unbearable on my end. The downside to the seeds is that most insurers don't cover it yet so you'll have to pay out of pocket. If cost is a concern, the injections do work, particularly if you have a doctor that let's you get your levels up to 600 or higher. Enlarged prostate is a side effect of any treatment but more so with the injections than the seeds (it's different testosterones that are used). But start with a full panel of blood work at your GP that includes not only T but other nutrients like Vitamins D and all of the B complexes. While low T is likely your issue, there's several other vitamin deficiencies that have similar symptoms.

Also ask your doctor to check testosterone levels. You are right about the age where it can start dropping. And there are a number of ways that the doc can use to boost testosterone if you are low.

yes, I agree, consult your doctor. Maybe you are on high blood pressure medication which may not help. Also, buy a few cock rings, they help you stay erect longer by restricting the blood flow to your penis. Lastly, find ways to satisfy yourself when you get horny.
