Great combo goodlife! Had a Romeo Y Julieta Aniversario last night with some Makers 46..great buzz.
Cigars
I am very familiar with the Excaliber, and wayyyy too familiar with the whiskey.
So much so that I had to get unfamiliar with the latter nearly a decade ago. Lol

Dear Lady_N_Tramp,
The La Gloria's are tasty. But, have you tried the Hoyo De Monterey 1066's ? The Excaliber with a glass of Single Barrel Jack Daniel's on the rocks, is my idea of a little slice of heaven. Try some and let me know ( both the Hoyos and the Single Barrel).
Be Well!
Bettykitty,
Have you tried the Undercrown yet? They are the "house" or "seconds" brand of Drew Estates. They taste and smoke as well as any Drew Estate stick I have ever tried. And, at a third of the price of the Drew Estate! Give them a try and let me know.
Be Well!
Will do. I don't smoke cigars very often now, but the Series R was a favorite of mine.
The owner at the local humidor tells me that La Gloria was bought out, or maybe just the rights to the series R (I can't remember), and there was a non-compete issue. The originator of the Series R has put out what is suppose to be a replacement, but I through it away after a puff or two.
I'll definitely tey Thompson, thanks.

I just found out that the La Gloria Cubana Series R is no longer available. Sad Tramp.

Good to hear
For sex yes we are not into BBw. But for friends that does not matter.
I love cigars. U had invited us to smoke some under those palms. We may do that sometime. However u are going to have to calm down some on your opinion of heavier weight people. We may be a little too big for u to associate with.
Having try country man cigars. They are much better then phillies and cost the same and are longer.
I smok PHILLIES, Titans for about 10 years. They are good for 1 3/4 mile walks and the price is $39.99 for 50.
Just ordered some Bandito cigars. small ones quick smoke but its winter and to cold for a long smoke in the back yard.
My faverate is a Drew Estate
Isla Del Sol
come to Vegas. We got nice palm trees in our backyard to sit under and smoke cigars and drink beer.
Can we be friends. Haha

Really smooth. Smoked a Bahia Blu whcih was nice, smooth and mild. 2 dollar cigar not bad. i have four more o go in my sampler.
Had a Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 over the holidays. Great cigar and buzz!
I had one on our cruise that was from Cuban seed (picture of me smoking it in our gallery) this thing was so amazingly smooth. I smoked it to the end, Mrs F sat there and was never bothered by the odor if it. I wish no where I knew what it was.
Was it smooth? I've got to look them up
I just smoked a really nice cigar. Ramon Bueso cigar. I got a sampler bunch from cigars international. Really nice cigar
I really like Quesada Cigars from the Dominican Republic. Try one if you have the chance.
Obsidian cigars which i get from Cigars international. CI has some great knock offs for the Romeo and Juliette and others.
When i am fishing on my kayak i take a cellophane sealed machine rolled cigar Called Country Man. Cheap stays fresh in the kayak and can be thrown over the side with i hook a big fish, even just lite.
CAO was my favorites. I have smoked some really great cigars but the CAO American is just super smooth.
A little plus is that they are also easier on the wallet.
It's been quite some time since I smoked fine cigars routinely, but you are tempting me to make a trip to the cigar store...a thing that I do not need to do this week. Lol
Back when, my every day cigar was the La Unica, Cameroon series. I forget what the filler and binder were, but the wrapper was from Cameroon, Africa, and it gave the cigar a mild chestnut taste.
Memories.

I have nearly a dozen different cigars that I prefer, all at different times and for different reasons. All of my favorites come from the Dominican Republic though, not Cuba.
If I had to point to the best, I'd say La Gloria Cubana, Series R, No. 7. (But only after a good meal and with a leaded highball glass half full of good Tennessee whiskey).
