It never occurred to me to use a Google phone number. I’ll have to look into that. Thanks!
And as far as couples being suspicious about moving a conversation to KIK or another off site app, I suppose you may be right. I never thought about it that way. However, I’ve had a hell of a successful run using messaging apps until this point. Time to evolve.

Many couples on this site are suspicious of attempts to move conversations to KIK or other apps. Those apps have so many bots and phishing schemes.
We generally don’t have a problem giving out my cell phone, but if we are not feeling about a couple we have a google phone number that we can use.
I had a few couples who were interested in single men reach out to me via sls messenger. After a few messages, they gave me their phone number(s) so we could discuss plans directly. However, I don’t like giving out my personal phone number due to past bad experiences in the lifestyle (I’m sure some of you can relate). I try to keep all communications in messenger form. When I tried to politely ask them if they use KIK or another messaging app off of sls, I got blocked immediately …twice. Am I in the wrong here? Or should I stick to what is best for myself?
